Sonata: Fleeing to Avoid an Arranged Marriage Chapter 24.1

Mi Qing’s heartbreaking screams alarmed the staff of the hot spring . Her voice had not completely died down, when a staff member in her formal wear already came rushed in from the door .

Xiao Gu’s hand was still resting on Mi Qing’s shoulder, while Mi Qing’s bath towel was pooled under her feet . The staff quickly a.n.a.lyzed the situation at the scene, raised the publicity booklets that have yet to be distributed in her hands, and shouted at Xiao Gu: “This gentleman! Please release the lady immediately!”

Xiao Gu glanced back at her, and wanted to explain a few words, but the staff just shouted at  him aloud, “Don’t move! Let go of the lady right now!”

She should think before talking .

He looked back down at Mi Qing, telling her to hold the coat by herself, and released her to take a step back . The staff saw him pull away, rushed up quickly, picked up the towel on the ground and wrapped it around Mi Qing: “Miss, are you alright? Do you  need me to call the police?”

Xiao Gu: “…”

“If our staff didn’t arrive in time, would you promise that you wouldn’t have done anything to that lady?”

The corner of Xiao Gu’s mouth twitched, and he silently glared at the manager .

In the lounge, Mi Qing has changed her clothes and was still holding a gla.s.s of steaming water . In the mist, her pale face finally began to recover a little blood .

The staff member who took her out saw her slightly more spirited, and gently asked, “Miss, do you feel better?”

Mi Qing didn’t answer, and the staff was a bit embarra.s.sed . In this manner, she didn’t know how to comfort her, so she said, “If you want to call the police, I can come and testify for you . ”
