Fei Yan Niao told Tan Pan Ting news about saving Cheng Yi’s life.

Fei Yan Niao joked Tan Pan Ting should give him a kiss or one of the twins to thank him for saving Cheng Yi’s life and letting Cheng Yi reunite with Zheng Jia Ju.

Gu Jiao Wen arrived at the restaurant and criticized Fei Yan Niao’s restaurant choice. Fei Yan Niao said he was happy to eat bad food as long as he was eating with Tan Pan Ting. Both Tan Pan Ting and Gu Jiao Wen lost their appet.i.tes.

Fei Yan Niao asked Tan Pan Ting if he could at least be the twins’ G.o.dfather. Tan Pan Ting refused.

Gu Jiao Wen and Tan Pan Ting returned home. Gu Jiao Wen told Tan Pan Ting not see Fei Yan Niao again. Tan Pan Ting explained why she ate with Fei Yan Niao to Gu Jiao Wen. Tan Pan Ting showed a photo of Zheng Jia Ju and Cheng Yi after plastic surgery to Gu Jiao Wen.

Shen Cheng knew Qiao Tan Yuan wouldn’t change her mind after she thought about a decision carefully. He gripped the box, turned around and walked away. His heart knew why he and Qiao Tan Yuan couldn’t be together, it was always Gu Jiao Wu between them. Even if Gu Jiao Wu wasn’t in the picture, Qiao Tan Yuan’s heart and eyes couldn’t see another man. She rejected him to spare him future sufferings, and he wouldn’t burden her by letting her see how deeply she broke his heart.

Qiao Tan Yuan sat on the bed and sighed. Her heart felt a lot lighter. She made too many mistakes. She didn’t want to follow her impulsive heart anymore, and wanted to learn to be considerate of others.

Qiao Tan Yuan accepted Gu Jiao Wu didn’t love her. She was only Xiao Bao’s mother in Gu Jiao Wu’s eyes. She didn’t love Shen Cheng, and she wouldn’t wait for Gu Jiao Wu’s love anymore. If she accepted the truth long ago then she wouldn’t be hurting. The truth was Gu Jiao Wu hated her deeply, and asked her to marry him again to give Xiao Bao a family. But she wasn’t going to make the same mistake by marrying Gu Jiao Wu again. Their first marriage scarred her enough. Even if Gu Jiao Wu found out she wasn’t marrying Shen Cheng, she wouldn’t give Xiao Bao to Gu Jiao Wu.
