Feng Kai Ze stopped the taxi on a dark street. He got out of the taxi, and looked around for Da Tian Ting. He spotted the kidnapper’s car parked in front of a bar. He ran into the bar, and saw men in black suits ganging up on Da Tian Ting. He leapt and kicked the man who slapped Da Tian Ting’s face.

Feng Kai Ze took off his s.h.i.+rt, covered Da Tian Ting’s naked body and hugged her tightly.

‘Tian Ting, you’re safe,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘I’m here now.’

Da Tian Ting heard Feng Kai Ze’s voice, and she let her body shake.

‘Little monkey, they’re really scary,’ Da Tian Ting said.

‘I’m here,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘You don’t have to be scared. I’ll make them pay for scaring you.’

Feng Kai Ze helped Da Tian Ting stand. She saw Hong s.h.i.+ Chi coming toward them, and she held onto Feng Kai Ze’s waist.

‘Hong s.h.i.+ Chi, I’m going to make you pay tenfold for hurting my woman,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘Feng Kai Ze, what do you want?’ Hong s.h.i.+ Chi asked.

Hong s.h.i.+ Chi was startled Feng Kai Ze appeared out of nowhere. How dare Feng Kai Ze be with another woman who wasn’t Hong s.h.i.+ Na?

‘I’m not free to deal with you today,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

Feng Kai Ze led Da Tian Ting toward the door. He wanted to take her home, and comfort her.

‘Don’t let them leave!’ Hong s.h.i.+ Chi ordered.

Two men obstructed Feng Kai Ze and Da Tian Ting’s way.

Feng Kai Ze turned around, and gave Hong s.h.i.+ Chi a warning look.

‘Trust me,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘You can’t handle the consequences if you provoke me.’

‘Feng Kai Ze, other people are scared of you but I’m not,’ Hong s.h.i.+ Chi said. ‘Today I’m going to teach you a lesson to get rid of your arrogance.’

‘Do you think you can?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.

‘I don’t believe you can defeat my men,’ Hong s.h.i.+ Chi said.

‘Little monkey, he’s someone who has no heart,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Be careful.’

‘Would you believe me if I said I’m going to kill all the men here today?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.

‘Little monkey, I don’t want you to break the law,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘I don’t want you to be imprisoned or executed.’

Da Tian Ting needed Feng Kai Ze, she didn’t need revenge.

‘Today the men here broke the law,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘They kidnapped you, and a.s.saulted you.’

‘But…’ Da Tian Ting said.

‘I’m your man,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘It’s my duty to protect you. Let me take revenge for you.’

Da Tian Ting believed after the incident with Mac Kai An, Feng Kai Ze would find a way to take revenge without breaking the law.

‘Feng Kai Ze!’ Hong s.h.i.+ Chi called. ‘How dare you be with another woman when you’re my little sister’s fiance?’

Da Tian Ting let go of Feng Kai Ze, and took a step back.

‘Little monkey… do you have a fiance?’ Da Tian Ting asked.

Da Tian Ting pressed a hand over her heart. Why did Feng Kai Ze play with her feelings when he had a fiance? Why did her heart ached unbearably?

‘I don’t have a fiance,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘Then why did he say you’re his little sister’s fiance?’ Da Tian Ting asked.

‘He’s nutty like his little sister,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘He’s desperate to marry off his nutty little sister. Don’t listen to his crazy talk.’

‘Feng Kai Ze!’ Hong s.h.i.+ Chi yelled.

Feng Kai Ze ignored Hong s.h.i.+ Chi.

‘Da Tian Ting, he is Hong s.h.i.+ Na’s big brother, Hong s.h.i.+ Chi,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘Their whole family is deluded. Don’t believe anything that comes out of their mouths.’

‘Little monkey, they own Hong s.h.i.+’s company,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘We should stay away from them otherwise there’ll be trouble.’

‘Yes,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘There’ll be trouble for them.’

‘What?’ Da Tian Ting asked. ‘Little monkey, are you saying you’re… Feng’s company’s Feng Kai Ze?’

‘Little dummy, I’ve told you from the start that I’m Feng Kai Ze so you can’t be upset with me,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

Da Tian Ting didn’t know what to do. She fell in love with the richest heir in the city. She wanted to back away, but she didn’t want to leave Feng Kai Ze either.

‘Da Tian Ting, don’t leave me because I’m Feng’s company’s heir,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘I’ve never acknowledged my father. I hate him, and his family.’

‘Why?’ Da Tian Ting asked.

‘I hate my father for taking me away from my mother sixteen years ago,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘For sixteen years, I’ve opposed him. I won’t acknowledge he’s my father, I’m your little monkey. Da Tian Ting, don’t leave me. You’re my everything. If you leave me, my life is meaningless.’

‘Little monkey,’ Da Tian Ting called.

Da Tian Ting hugged Feng Kai Ze, and cried happy tears. She didn’t expect there was someone in the world who saw her as their everything.

‘Fierce apple, trust me,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘Everything I do is for us to be together.’

‘Little monkey, I trust you,’ Da Tian Ting said.

Da Tian Ting decided even if she had to walk on a th.o.r.n.y road, she wanted to walk it together with Feng Kai Ze.

‘Don’t scare me like this,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘Don’t think about leaving me again.’

‘If you told me who you are sooner then you wouldn’t be scared now,’ Da Tian Ting said.

‘If I told you sooner, I would have scared you off,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘It took me years to find you again. If you left me, I wouldn’t know where to find you.’

‘What are you scared of?’ Da Tian Ting asked. ‘It wouldn’t matter where I run, because you’ll always catch me.’

‘You’re right so don’t think about leaving me because I’ll catch you and bring you back home with me,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘What are you two doing being lovey dovey when you two are about to die?’ Hong s.h.i.+ Chi asked.

Feng Kai Ze ignored Hong s.h.i.+ Chi.

‘Stand next to me and let me take care of the constipated man,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘Little monkey, aren’t you scared Mr Hong will be upset if you call him a constipated man?’

‘I can destroy any constipated man even if he’s upset,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

Feng Kai Ze wasn’t scared of anyone from Hong s.h.i.+’s company.

‘Little monkey, Mr Hong’s men outnumbers the two of us,’ Da Tian Ting said.

Da Tian Ting was a burden to Feng Kai Ze in her state of dress.

‘Mac Kai An hired more men,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘It’ll be a cinch for me to deal with these men.’

‘Are you saying you can defeat them with one phone call?’ Da Tian Ting asked. She picked up her phone and gave it to Feng Kai Ze. ‘You can use my phone.’

Feng Kai Ze was surprised how quick his fierce apple recovered her wits. He accepted her phone, and pressed the cops’ emergency phone number.

‘Little monkey, you’re calling the cops?’ Da Tian Ting asked.

‘Feng Kai Ze, you’re not allowed to call the cops!’

‘I haven’t called the cops yet but it looks like your fear of cops cured your constipation,’ Feng Kai Ze mocked.

‘You dare play me?’ Hong s.h.i.+ Chi asked.

‘Hong s.h.i.+ Chi, even if you have ten lives, do you actually believe you can get away with threatening and a.s.saulting an ordinary citizen,’ Feng Kai Ze asked. ‘Without Hong s.h.i.+’s company backing you, you’re nothing.’

‘Feng Kai Ze, what about you?’ Hong s.h.i.+ Chi asked. ‘Without Feng’s company, you’re nothing.’

‘In the near future, you’ll find out who’ll lose between us,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘You only know how to bluff,’ Hong s.h.i.+ Chi said and laughed.

Feng Kai Ze punched Hong s.h.i.+ Chi’s smug face.

‘Ah!’ Hong s.h.i.+ Chi cried out.

Hong s.h.i.+ Chi covered his face, Feng Kai Ze kicked his stomach and he fell onto the floor.

‘This is a sample of your future,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

Feng Kai Ze supported Da Tian Ting to the taxi.

‘Young master Hong, what are we going to do?’ a man asked.

‘Everyone needs to keep their mouths shut about what happened today,’ Hong s.h.i.+ Chi warned.

Hong s.h.i.+ Chi would be a public laughing stock if the media found out he lost to Feng Kai Ze. He was going to think of a way to slowly torture Feng Kai Ze to death.
