Underdog Versus Boss Chapter 16

Shang Duan Hua drove Da Ming Sheng to buy a wedding dress. He braked suddenly when he saw Da Tian Ting on the streets.

‘Duan Hua, why did you stop the car?’ Da Ming Sheng asked.

Shang Duan Hua unbuckled his seatbelt, he got out of the car and ran to Da Tian Ting.

Da Ming Sheng got out of the car and chased after Shang Duan Hua. It took her a lot of scheming to get Shang Duan Hua to agree to marry her. She wasn’t going to let anyone take him away from her.

‘Tian Ting, how did you injure yourself like this?’ Shang Duan Hua asked. ‘I’ll take you to the hospital.’

Da Tian Ting laughed at her situation. Her ex-fiance appeared when she didn’t want to see him.

‘Mr Shang, stay out of my business,’ Da Tian Ting said.

‘Why are you treating me like a stranger?’ Shang Duan Hua asked.

‘Shang Duan Hua, we’re strangers,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘After you betrayed me, do you expect us to be friends? Mr Shang, how many broken up couples do you know who are still friends? It’s impossible for us to be friends.’

Shang Duan Hua wanted to chase after Da Tian Ting, but Da Ming Sheng held onto his arm.

‘Duan Hua, didn’t you say you want to take me to buy a wedding dress?’ Da Ming Sheng asked. ‘Let’s go. We have our pre-wedding shoot tomorrow.’

‘It can wait,’ Shang Duan Hua said.

‘It can’t wait,’ Da Ming Sheng said. ‘The wedding boutiques will close soon.’

‘Ming Sheng!’ Shang Duan Hua called.

Shang Duan Hua chose to leave Da Tian Ting, but he didn’t understand why he couldn’t let her go.

‘Duan Hua, why can’t you let go of big sister?’ Da Ming Sheng asked. ‘Do you consider how hurt I feel seeing you have lingering feelings for big sister?’

‘Ming Sheng, I’m sorry,’ Shang Duan Hua said. ‘I don’t know what I was thinking. Let’s go and buy your wedding dress.’

Shang Duan Hua didn’t want to look back at what he abandoned.

Da Tian Ting walked a long distance. She turned around, and saw Shang Duan Hua open the pa.s.senger door for Da Ming Sheng. She didn’t want to look back at the fickle and heartless Shang Dua Hua anymore.
