‘Today I need to go to the airport,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘Next time I’ll settle the score with you.’

Feng Kai Ze turned around and walked away from the crazy woman again.

‘Rotten man!’ Da Tian Ting said.

Da Tian Ting couldn’t bend her knees to stand up. It was the grudge holding man’s fault. Every time she met him, it was an unlucky day.

Ding Xiao Ran went to the bathroom to look for Da Tian Ting. She was worried to see Da Tian Ting lying on the floor.

‘Tian Ting, are you OK?’ Ding Xiao Ran asked.

Feng Kai Ze heard someone called Tian Ting’s name, and froze on the spot. He turned around and looked closely at the crazy woman’s face. Was the crazy woman Da Tian Ting?

‘Tian Ting, why are you lying on the floor?’ Ding Xiao Ran asked.

‘I accidently slipped,’ Da Tian Ting said.

‘I’ll check if you’re injured anywhere,’ Ding Xiao Ran said.

‘It’s OK,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Help me stand up, and we can go back to work.’

‘You’re not OK,’ Ding Xiao Ran said. ‘I’m taking you to the hospital. Your knee wounds reopened, and bleeding.’

Ding Xiao Ran helped Da Tian Ting stand.

‘I don’t need to go to the hospital,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘I have painkillers in my bag. I just need to bandage my knees. We need to get back to work.’

‘OK,’ Ding Xiao Ran said. ‘I’ll help bandage your knees.’

‘Thank you Xiao Ran,’ Da Tian Ting said.

Feng Kai Ze stood on the same spot. He was shocked he finally found Da Tian Ting.

‘Sir, move out of the way,’ Ding Xiao Ran said.

Feng Kai Ze’s eyes only saw Da Tian Ting’s face.

‘Sir, you’re in the way,’ Ding Xiao Ran said.

Feng Kai Ze had met Da Tian Ting again on his first day back in his mum’s hometown. Why didn’t he recognise her face sooner?

‘Rotten man, why are you staring at me?’ Da Tian Ting asked. ‘Move out of the way!’

‘Whoa,’ Ding Xiao Ran said. ‘Da Tian Ting, we’ve known each other for years. This is the first time I’ve seen you lose your temper.’

Da Tian Ting? Feng Kai Ze found his fierce apple. He wanted to find out everything about his fierce apple’s life.
