Chapter 9 – So This Is The Prince 1

 

“Ahhh”

The terrified young man followed his instincts and tried dodging.

Lu protected him from the ice grenades but then they lost balance and fell from the dragon which was flying high on the sky.

“d.a.m.n it!”

Lu Jiuque cursed.

This new body of hers is apparently bringing her a lot of trouble since she got reborn.At first it was the Demon and then it was the Rose, and now she fell off of the flying dragon.

Why did she decide to take this guy with her..

Lu Jiuque stopped thinking and adjusted her position getting ready to land on the back so that she could buffer the impact from a free fall.

However they didn’t land as expected. There was no pain at all, instead, she felt like something caught her and coldness spread throughout her body.

Lu Jiuque opened her eyes slowly and she saw a pair of beautiful blue eyes.

The icy blueness generated a feeling like she was being pulled into a lake of frozen emotions. To say his eyes were blue is like saying the sun is yellow. Sufficient but not accurate to capture the burning.

Beautiful…

Must have met him somewhere.

His eyes..

Wait a minute. Why is this guy so close to her!

He wrapped his arms around her. His embrace was warm, and his big strong arms seemed very protective when wrapped around her frail body.

She could clearly feel every time he breathes.

She’s never been so close to a man before.

The man noticed the dull look on her and whispered, “Are you r.e.t.a.r.ded?”

“What?”

Word slipped out of her mouth.

He concluded, “r.e.t.a.r.ded.”

And then he threw her high in the air following which she landed again, hard.
And the guy next to Lu got into the same situation but he landed on his face.

It wasn’t until this moment that Lu Jiuque had a chance to really gaze upon this man.

The man dressed in a black wardrobe with luxurious silver belt, his tall muscular body resembled that of a bodybuilder.

He has the kind of face that stops you in your tracks. He must get used to that, the sudden pause in a person’s natural expression when they looked his way followed by overcompensating with a nonchalant gaze and a weak smile.

She has seen so many handsome men in her life but he is the first one to really catch her eyes.

Everyone was too surprised to even move as they all focus their gaze on this man. He’s the pride of the Qingyan Kingdom.

Suddenly a sad voice came through, “Prince my dear…”

What?

Prince?

Is that really the Prince himself?

Are you kidding me?

From her memories the Prince has always been a nice, kind and loving figure. Is this man who threw her in the air and called her r.e.t.a.r.ded really the Prince?

Is he really?

He turned to her and looked with a irritated frown, which made Shao Qingrou quiet down immediately.
