The cuisine of a different world… and cat girls!

After they returned to the inn Sou went to his room and for some reason Lexa was following him.

「Lexa, this is my room isn’t it?」(Sou)
「Yep, that’s right. More importantly, didn’t we forget something after we went to the adventurer guild?」(Lexa)

While saying this Lexa stared right at me. Scary… I can feel so much pressure. This is unexpected…

What did we forget? Uhh~… Ah!

「Oh yes, Mizaris dog ears-」(Sou)
「Exactly! The party registration!」(Lexa)

A tense atmosphere suddenly fills the room…

「Of course I thought about the party registration.」(Sou)
「It is just my imagination because I think I heard something different…… like you saying something about dog ears?」(Lexa)

「Yep, just your imagination. I think you’re a little bit tired.」(Sou)
「Don’t try to fool me! Your poker-face during these moments is p.i.s.sing me off!」(Lexa)

Those are the usual feelings these two have for each other.

That’s correct. Right now Lexa is screaming with a mad voice about “Party! Party!” but she had forgotten about it herself when they happily arrived at the inn. And the dog ears of Miss Mizari are reason enough I also forgot about the party registration. Wiggling dog ears are just too cute…

And thus the responsibility was forced to the innocent dog ears since Sou was just too lost in them.
It’s disappointing for a male whose charm value is actually 60.

「Tomorrow before we look at the quest board, let’s register as a party. Is that okay, Lexa?」(Sou)
「Even though I want to know more about that dog, I won’t force it and that’s enough for now.」(Lexa)

We finished our talk and since it was already time for dinner we decided to head downstairs to ask Jack about a good restaurant.
As we got down we couldn’t find Jack but instead saw a young girl standing behind the reception. She looked about as old as Lexa. The girl called out to them.

「Wow, you are much younger than I thought after listening to Dad! Are you going out?」(Girl)
「Are you by any chance…… the daughter of Jack!?」(Lexa)

Lexa, don’t be deceived. At least not as much as you were when I was talking about the dog ears. It’s for a reason that we call him “old man”.

「Yes. I’m the daughter of Jack Hamilton, Keimi Hamilton. It’s usually my job to be at the reception desk and not my fathers.」(Keimi)
「Please take good care of me, Keimi-chan. It’s a relief to see a girl in the same age group as me.」(Lexa)

Oh! Keimi-chan is ignoring the -chan. Good job, Lexa. Still, I can’t feel relieved over Lexas remark just now. Well… whatever.

「By the way, Keimi-chan. Do you know where we can eat good food around here?」(Lexa)
「If you want some really good food, there is a cheap restaurant across the street.」(Keimi)
「Really? I’m saved that it is so close by. My stomach is completely empty! Thanks for the info. Let’s go, Sou!」(Lexa)
「Yes.」(Sou)

Without being able to join the conversation, the talk has already ended. The girl looks like a good and simple child. Her character is completely different compared to the old man. I think a ponytail would suit her better than twin tails though. I imagine her with a ponytail…… Is this feeling the moment a guy experiences p.u.b.erty?
If your head is suddenly full with different girl hairstyles such as ponytails or twin tails, it has to be p.u.b.erty…
Sou and Lexa are waving good bye to Keimi while leaving the inn. They’re heading towards the restaurant.
It was already full with people having a drinking spree. One could feel the heavy heat in the restaurant. Fortunately for them, a four-people table was vacant and the two sat down.

「What should we order?」(Sou)
「We either order something for ourselves or if that won’t be enough we could order something for two-people.」(Lexa)

While looking at the menu together, Lexa doesn’t even notice that our faces are quite close to each other. This is very hard to endure for a virgin. I’m desperately trying to suppress my inner excitement and hope she doesn’t find out……
I mean… this looks like a date! I’m really nervous right now. Although, Lexa doesn’t seem to mind this at all. If you’re in a party, something like this will happen quite often. I have no choice but to get used to it…

「Ah well. I want the boa teriyaki and the yak peach gra.s.s (ヤクモモ草) salad.」(Lexa)
「I…… I think I’ll have the killer bison steak…」(Sou)

In all honesty, I seriously can’t imagine the food on this menu at all without pictures. Therefore I have decided to order the killer bison steak. It’s the only one I knew. I ignored the scary name though. It’s a steak. What’s the worst that could happen?
We ordered the food and while we were waiting a girl called out to us.

「Umm…. This is the only table that still has some empty seats…… could I sit here as well?」(Girl)

She was a girl with cat ears and s.h.i.+ny jet black hair that reached to her shoulders. Her flexible black tail was unsteadily wiggling. She was obviously a cat girl!
