The next day, Sehun invited me to buy school supplies for Monday's cla.s.s. I accepted his offer since I needed to buy my own stuff anyway.

While we’re walking in the mall, people kept looking at us. It is because my companion is attractive especially since he’s so tall and good-looking.

“So, what are you buying anyway?” He asked when we arrived at a huge and well-known bookstore.

“Just a pen and two notebooks. My budget is a bit tight.” I shyly replied.

My older brother told me that, while you're in College, you don’t really need to use a notebook. I’ll just buy just in case for personal note-taking.

“Is that so?” He responds.

We went our separate ways since he told me he’s going to buy something on his own. As for me, I just bought what I needed. Plus, I just paid them over the counter. I decided to wait for him outside the bookstore instead.

After a few minutes, he went out carrying two plastic bags.

“Here’s yours,” he said as he hands me one of the bags.

“What’s this?” I asked as I looked at it, confused.

“That’s your stuff. It’s complete. It can even tide you over until the next semester.”

I returned it to him.

“Oh gosh, I don’t have anything to pay you with, Sehun. I do have my own” I declared and showed him what I bought.

“Did I tell you to pay me back? That’s yours. Let’s just say it’s my welcoming gift to you.”

“I can’t accept that Sehun. What I bought is fine. Besides, you don’t really need a lot of stuff for Uni, right?”

“I insist, okay? It’s yours. Let’s go.”

I sighed, exasperated and followed him out as he turned to leave. I hurriedly caught up to his stride.

Although I didn’t really want to accept what he gave me, I expressed my grat.i.tude to him. I wasn’t wrong. He really is a good person.

He’s spending too much. I wonder if he’s rich? He spends like it’s nothing. We even ate at a well-known fast food chain and watch a movie.

I’m so embarra.s.sed by his actions.

“Thank you so very much Sehun. We just got to know each other, but you have done so much for me. And gave so much to me.” I said as I fixed our beds.

“It’s nothing.”

“It’s a big deal for me. It’s not easy to earn that much money, so I’m thankful. I’ll never forget your kindness.”

“You’re too dramatic, bro. Forget about it, okay? It really is nothing. Hey, let’s take a selfie.”

Before I could object, he raised his cellphone at a high-angle. It flashed as it caught me unprepared.

“Bwahahahahaha. This is too hilarious[i], bro. Hahahaha.“ 

He laughed out loud as he looked at our photo.

“You’re too much[ii], bro. This is hilarious. I’ll post it on Facebook later.”

I consciously worried over what I looked like in the photo.

“Let me see,” I said as he showed our photo together

“Delete it! I look so ugly!” I pleaded as I saw it. I look constipated and stupid.

“No, I won’t. I’ll really post it later.”

Is he insulting me?!

“I told you to delete it! I look ugly, oh!” I insisted as I tried to s.n.a.t.c.h the phone away from him.

“No” he lifted it away from my reach as I tried to chase after it.

Because of my insistence on reaching the phone, we both fell on top of the bed. My eyes widened. He’s under me while I’m on top of him.
