Only then did Ye Wen Hua force himself to laugh, nodding his head as he said, “Then I’ll come and taste Li er‘s[5] tea.”

The originally tense atmosphere at long last eased up somewhat, the group of people were just about to enter Qing Yi Xuan when from not far away, w.a.n.g s.h.i.+[6] came staggering over while supported by others. Seeing Ye Rong who was at that moment suffering from a beating that had him letting out world-shattering screams, w.a.n.g s.h.i.+ cried out in grief and threw herself forward to protect Ye Rong in her embrace. w.a.n.g s.h.i.+ was the zhumu[7] managing the household; with her showing up, the other people naturally didn’t dare to make a move again and could only stand at the side.
