Blade Online Chapter 9

More than around three months have pa.s.sed since then.

After confirming that the status greatly increased because of everyday training, I’m exploring outside the cave once a week. I can now win the fight without dying with Horn Rabbit Subspecies (just Horn Rabbit since its troublesome). Level also fairly increased, its currently 38. Because the name of Horn Rabbit is started to be displayed, My level is getting close to it.

Since I can’t be defeated by Horn Rabbit, I think that its time for the next step. I finally grasp the monsters in this forest after exploring it several times. There might be a monster that I have not yet found because of not going to the inner part but, I guess its not a problem in my present state.

The number of monsters that I confirmed is 10. There are 4 that I don’t know the names. I saw s.h.i.+eld Scorpion and b.l.o.o.d.y Bear but I have not yet to see its names. Apart from b.l.o.o.d.y Bear, I want to see soon If I can now possibly fight s.h.i.+eld Scorpion. Since I obtained 【Poison Resistance】, There is a low possibility of being harmed by poison. Above all, Level did not raise that much anymore with the Horn Rabbit. There is also Soul’s Fragments, I guess some risk is okay.

By merely coming here, I heard myself yelling in my mind ” Stop!, Its dangerous!”. However, I judged that I would not be able to came out of this forest even if I trained minutely. I’ll immediately escape if my HP is shaved more than half in one hit.

I searched for s.h.i.+eld Scorpion after checking the Fire Fruit that I saved little by little.

I should have raised my level steadily!, I thought while just barely evading the charge of s.h.i.+eld Scorpion.

I identified its location and used 【Quadruple Jump】 to move above so that I won’t be noticed, hit it with the impact of falling plus 【Helm Splitter】 which is good at that time, but I wasn’t able to hardly give it damage. It seems that its harder than I expected. I tried to escape after that but, this scorpion’s legs is unreasonably fast. I’ll be overtake if I tried to run away and I can’t even return to the cave.

There’s another skill besides 【Helm Splitter】 that seems to be able to give damage to this one. It is 【Clear Stab】. 【Clear Stab】 is a skill that would strike the gap of the armor with a blade and gave a direct damage. It might possibly work on that scorpion’s sh.e.l.l.

However, It needs to be pretty close to do it. I’m likely to be attacked by that pincers and the tail if I get closed, Its impossible because I scarily feel like being killed.

「oouu!?」

The scorpion thrust again. I jump sideways with 【Step】 but I was not be able to perfectly evade it and it hit my shoulder a little. My HP was shaved by 20 percent with that attack. It might be because of being distant level in the time of Horn Rabbit.

〈Kishaaa!?〉 The scorpion let out a scream, and something clas.h.i.+ng sound was heard. The appearance of the scorpion that I saw crashed in a tree and it became in confused status. It seems that there is a lot of monster in this forest that would destroy themselves by cras.h.i.+ng into a tree.

At any rate, Its a chance. I hurriedly rush over and stab the gap of the armor with a sword with 【Clear Stab】. Then, The HP decreased a little. It state received little damage by piercing the sword in its body. I kept piercing it with the 『Bloodstained Sakura』 until the confusion is removed.

The confusion of the scorpion is removed. I evade the attack and use 【Step】 to go its back.

After that, till it almost become night, I keep fighting the scorpion. It seems that the offensive power of the scorpion is not that high as I expected and there some dangerous part but I was somehow able to defeat it. Because of the scorpion hitting the tree every time and becoming in confused status and with that chance, I attack it with 【Clear Stab】. I confirmed that if I continue this, I’ll be able to win splendidly easy.

I checked that the level raised 3 in one go, I believe that I’ll be able to see its name soon after defeating it several times.

I don’t know how long pa.s.sed after I come here,. It might be more than a year or maybe less than that. Players have not yet reached this place even now. Probably, this place might be a hidden area. No matter how high the monster’s level, in this forest, the number 1 power is the b.l.o.o.d.y Bear which is around level 50. My current level is 54. if its a normal capture, Its not strange if other players arrived already. That is why I foretell that this might be a very hard to discover place or a hidden area. If that is the case, there is only one way to get out of here. The master of this area, in other words. Defeating the boss monster. A warp gate will appear and would be able to warp to the town after defeating the boss. I’ll go to the town using it. There is a danger of using warp gate due to the bug when I came here but its worth a try.

「【Forth Slash】!!」

I slip to the bosom of the b.l.o.o.d.y Bear to avoid its large swing and with four consecutive cut in its leg. The b.l.o.o.d.y Bear lose its balance because of the cut in its leg and collapsed to the ground. I used step to not get smashed by the giant body and aim on its head which is close to the ground due to collapsing.

There is a part that is called Vital Point in this game, it is possible to die in a single blow if the attack is perfectly hit. The vital points are the heart and head, the crown of the head and nape are also the vital points even in reality. This also applies to monster not only to the players.

I jumped high with the 【Quadruple Jump】 and stab the crown of the head with the impact of falling.

Guooooooooooooo!!!!!

The b.l.o.o.d.y Bear raised a death scream and disappears. It difficult to instant death even if you attacked the vital points, but it is alright if you can stab it well in that place.

I can now safely defeat even the so much powerful b.l.o.o.d.y Bear. My level no longer instantly raised by defeating b.l.o.o.d.y Bear. It become impossible to raised the level unless defeating 3 of it.

The boss may be easily defeated in this manner. I’ll go defeat it after leveling up once more.

My level went up and I got c.o.c.ky that time. I have completely forgotten the thing that all the people who played a game knows.
