The Bone knight was a skeleton equipped with the armor and a spear, and mounted on a horse composed of bone. It's defense and attack power were much higher than the normal skeletons. Compared to the zombies and other skeletons, it's appearance was like a mountain. At the same time, Five more Bone knights emerged.

As we were advancing further inside the graveyard, several spears suddenly appeared in front of my eyes.  Afterwards, a bone hand grasping a spear appeared. The brown soil which was stuck to armor ,gauntlets and the horse skeleton came off. The Bone knight.

There were four Vaughan knights. I decided to take on two of them and left the other two to Ryuu and Rin. At first, I chose to use a proper attack and thrust-ed into a Bone Knight. The Bone knight tried to intercept my blade with its spear. Hah! Foolish. My level was much higher than yours. The blade cut through the heavy spear and severed it. It did not just stop there. Just as it was, the blade advanced as far as to cut off its Head. Three companion of the Bone Knight simultaneously thrusted towards me, but I evaded to left using 《step》. After that, the head of a Bone Knight riding on horse got chopped off, and it body tumbled down. With this, two of them were defeated. Afterwards, I leave the remaining ones to Ryuu and Rin. I retreated watched over the pair’s back dodging Bone Knight's attack.

The teamwork of those two was amazing or perhaps I should say that they can understand what the other was going to do without saying a word? Ryuu plunged towards Bone Knight and started attacking it. Rin provided support from rear by thrusting spear towards it which made Bone Knight Flinch . Ryuu started hammering with his axe. This feeling was exactly of being one with body and soul

The fight ended after a few minutes. Ryuu mowed down the axe and delt a fatal blow to the dying Bone knight. Bone knight tumbled down from the horse and became gem of light before disappearing. The skeleton horse, also becomes gem of light and disappeared as if following its master.

The couple breathed a sigh of relief and walked towards me.

｢Weren’t you wonderful? Both of you had amazing teamwork. ｣
When I praised them, the pair became embarra.s.sed and laughed.

After that, we went out to the plaza where the many Vaughan knights and ghosts were knocked down. Apparently, it was a checkpoint before the boss fight. There were lot of tombstones and it was not clear whether they are to be used as chair or not. Extremely bad taste. Even though they were not a real graves, I felt uneasy sitting on them so I decided to take rest while standing. Since, my HP and stamina had not been consumed, I didn’t use anything. Ryu and Rin recovered their HP using potions while standing. It seemed like that they too felt uneasy sitting on tombstones.

I was thinking about boss-fight which will happen soon. Bome Spider. A huge spider made of bones. Like normal spiders it did not spit web but it can summon skeletons which make it a tough opponent to beat.

“Ano……”

Before I knew, Rin came to me and stared at my face. I was surprised by this and gave some funny reaction 

“I’m sorry ……. for surprising you like this…….”

“N.. no, what happened? ”

“Ano.. a little while ago. Sorry for holding you back …… and …. Thank you for …… Protecting me. ”

Rin's eyes became moistened and she bowed. Ah… sometimes being in a party does restrict your growth but I felt troubled on how to react while being apologized in this manner.

“Hah…. You don’t have to worry about it. And besides a party members are meant to help each other.”

When I said so, she seemed to be moved and bowed again. I lightly hit her head with pompon.

I had explained the strategy to attack and how to confront the Bone Spider to two of them who finished recovering, and headed towards the boss area. I reached the bottom. Although I felt disgusted by remembering that bug, but I endured it somehow.

I was ready for a crash landing, but surprisingly there was no crash impact after landing on the ground. I saw that both of them were also descending slowly. I guess when descending at that speed and manner, most of the impact would be absorbed.

The inside of the hole was quite large. It was surrounded by a wall of rugged brown rock spread in a circular shape. We seem to have landed down in the center.

The hands of the bone were growing from ground surrounding us simultaneously except the place where we were standing. Ground swelled, and a large amount/quant.i.ty of skeleton creeped out in large numbers ……. Rin and Ryuu became stiff and strengthened their guard.

All of the skeletons which creeped out of the ground turned toward us. Many hollow eyes were looking at us. *Caracalla*. A skeleton pointed it's finger at us and started laughing. It's not a laugh but sound of dry carca.s.s. Other skeletons also started pointing and laughing at us.

A dry sound echoes through the hole. The sight of laughing skeletons was creepy and eerie… I think that if one was careless then it may also become a trauma …… Rin was trembling and clinging to Ryu.

It thrusted against the roof and landed on the ground. All skeletons were gazing at the spider. In the next moment, giant spider leaped toward the group of skeletons. Skeletons which were caught in its leg were done away. Spider started eating skeletons while making crunching sound. Spider ignored us and was tormenting all the skeleton in the hole. When it ate all skeletons, the size of spider became more than twice the original size.

Was this Bone Spider? Throughout its body there were skull and hands of bone. It was huge aggregation of ill-shaped bones.
The Vaughan Spider, which was disregarding us earlier, suddenly turned to us, It shouted [kishaaaa] in a low voice.
