Chapter 2: Where is the prince?

[2]舌尖上 means tongue 美食 means culinary delicacy aka gourmet food

[3]一成不变- immutable; this means that the side dishes are the same, they never change.

[4]翻墙出去打通宵的学生 not too sure about this one either. From what I have gathered it’s telling us that students go over the school’s wall to play overnight.

The third year of high school is life’s second field of tragedy after the three encounters. Teacher and parents simultaneously extend hands to cherish. To lead students rubbing them in their palm. Rubbing till they’re unable to become humanoid (a robot)

Guo Zhi walked in this piece of dull scenery repeatedly, looking at the front. He has not considered. He has a harmonious family, fixed friends, healthy hobby, and stable achievement. But why, sometimes the incredibly lonely feeling suddenly hits. This type of strong loneliness. Regardless, himself and others are unable to help relieve it. Just pointless loneliness.

The Headteacher is holding a flashlight patrolling the school. Guo Zhi approached the garden grove whispering a cry; “Quickly run~~ The Headteacher is coming~~” Originally just a ordinary restless grove but birds scattered to hide in the smokes. Couples clothes irregular and suddenly they change personality like nothing had happened. They talk about all kinds of complex maths questions. Language problems. Geography questions. calmly and the headteacher pa.s.sed by. As expected it is school, the so called actor/acting is this nurtured!

Guo Zhi clasped his hands, waist smile: “It seems everybody is enjoying school life, that’s nice.”

What type of boy is Guo Zhi? Saying a nice point is that he is exactly an idiot, saying a ugly point is that he is exactly a stupid idiot. In his eyes things are fine. He has a very blind positive outlook on life, make a simple metaphor. If the sky suddenly rains. He will feel like he’s at MTV filming; if the sky rains knives, he won’t care about getting stabbed a few times. He did not get a reply, the boy left crossing over the basketball. Guo Zi looked out but can only see the back of the boy. He was wearing a cap.

“That boy seems to be always wearing a cap, I wonder what he looks like?” Guo Zi suddenly asked.

His desk mate w.a.n.g Linlin bored, messed with her hair: “Who knows, I guess he’s too ugly that he can’t see people. He seems to be from cla.s.s 3 or cla.s.s 4. After the teacher’s bombardment, night cla.s.s has finished. Today, Guo Zhi was a proctor, he had to stay behind to clean the blackboard and collect homework. After he finished, he put the homework in the teacher’s office and only then did he leisurely get ready to go back upstairs to his room holding a book. The stairwell lighting is dark, the sound of footsteps is clear. Guo Zi going up the stairs saw that boy head downstairs. They pa.s.s each other, they exchanged up and down positions. Guo Zi suddenly turned around: “It’s okay, looks aren’t important. Do not feel inferior if you look ugly, I think looking ugly is fine.”

The boy stopped back facing Guo Zi said short words. His voice is pleasant to listen to and it makes people surprised but the content is nasty to listen making people surprised as well: “Crazy.”

Isn’t seeing sunlight very good? Is it because you have a scar on your face? Or is was your born ugly? I don’t mind, I have a lot of friends who are ugly. “Guo Zhi, you say this to make boys feel better but have you considered how your friends feelings?”

The boy proceeded to communicate with Guo Zhi with this kind of crazy formula, he tried to leave. Guo Zhi thought he hurt him, he hurriedly grabbed the boy’s shoulder. The boy coldly turned around they stood opposite of each other. The distance across the middle was the brim of the hat.

He put in finger on the brim taking the hat away slowly, the shadow goes in gradually exposing his face in the dim light. His face, his eyes, his eyelashes started to penetrate Guo Zhi’s sight a little bit. Two seconds later, he suddenly out the hat back onto they boy’s head but he could not buckle his heartbeat. Panicking, he said: “You’re really only suitable for wearing a hat, goodbye!” After he finished talking, Guo Zhi ran away.

The boy looked in the direction Guo Zhi ran in: “He really is crazy.”

Night, the dark deprived sight but cannot take away the picture in Guo Zhi’s brain. That person, why can he with just two seconds appearance shake his heart. That fine face no one could withstand. The second he moved the hat, Guo Zhi only had one thought. The prince was here all along.
