The night was somewhat gloomy.

A cold full moon hung in the sky in solitude. Unusual, was that this moon gave off a rather dark, red light. Under the influence of that light, the whole sky began to be dyed a dark red.

There were no stars. Throughout the entire sky, there was only that full moon.

A strange phenomena.

Throughout the corners of the Endless Continent, many looked into that nearly dark red sky.

In each and every one of their eyes lied thoughts of how strange this was all was. However, not long after, those thoughts were very quickly replaced with shock.

And that was because in that dark, red sky, a new full moon began to slowly rise. It was different from the first cold, red one. This moon emitted rays of light that were somewhat gentle; to be more precise, it was as if this new full moon was the real moon.

Two moons had appeared together!

Now on seeing this scene, it caused a huge commotion amongst the billions upon billions of people on the continent, as for two full moons to appear together in the sky was something that had never happened before.

As this was the first time the people on the Endless Continent saw this scene, no one knew what it foretold. Hence, everyone began to make their own guesses. This appearance, was it a sign of prosperity or one of destruction?

But the events did not end there, and what followed caused billions to be even more shocked.

This was because without anyone knowing, a fiery red star had also appeared in the formerly starless sky, and was situated right between those two moons.

And then a 2nd star appeared. One in which emitted a ghostly cyan-colored light.

And then another, this one a bewitching crimson-colored.

Then came the 4th, the 5th…the 9th!

In nearly 10 breaths, there were already 9 stars in between the two moons and they were all emitting different colored lights. The most peculiar thing was that all the 9 stars were neatly lined up.

Nine stars aligned!

This was undoubtedly an extraordinary sight. Accompanying the appearance of this sight, the originally tranquil spiritual energy between heaven and earth began to go in a frenzy at the moment. And the energy in the bodies of endless cultivators’ did so as well.

They looked at the sight before them in fear. Their eyes which previously contained bewilderment and shock had now turned intense.

……

In the sky, a transient light had attracted the attention of billions on the Endless Continent but it was only thought of as a shooting star and so no one took it to heart. All of their attention was on the two full moons and the nine stars. They were speculating what this event meant.

Even though a few cultivators did notice that light and was guessing whether it was a strange treasure, they were unable to determine the location of where the light would land.

This was because Endless Continent was just too large, too big to the extent that it could be described as limitless. In this large scope, only a ghost would know where that light would land.

The appearance of the two moons and nine stars did not last very long. To be more accurate, not long after the light had flashed past the horizon, the aligned nine stars slowly vanished. Following that, the dark-red and cold moon also gradually faded away.

So like this, this strange phenomenon that had never appeared even since tens of thousands of years ago had come abruptly and vanished shortly which caught many off-guard.

Hence, after this night, every dynasty's imperial historian's records stated, “In the new age of this millennia, the first day of the Lunar calendar, a phenomena regarding the appearance of two moons and nine stars had appeared in the sky. Was this a sign of prosperity or a warning before the descension of Chaos? For this, n.o.body was able to determine, leaving us all to wait from this day henceforth for the answer.”
