Happy Wednesday!

Here's the chapter, enjoy.

To be honest, I almost forgot to post this chapter…..

Two weeks after we separated from the hero and the others, we arrived at Uruk.

The reason why we arrived later than initially planned, was because Kurou was teaching Amelia the fundamental knowledge of the first hero's technique, the special skill『Reversal』.

The contents were difficult to understand, even for me who has the special skill『Language Comprehension』, but it was a learning experience.

Maa, I wasn't listening in when I was doing ch.o.r.es, so I wasn't able to understand everything though.

Incidentally, Amelia used『Magic Creation』to create the skill『Comprehension』so she was just barely keeping up.

It was not an all-purpose skill like『Language Comprehension』, but it would be convenient when you encountered complex jargon.

Perhaps it was because he used to be a teacher, but Kurou was good at teaching.

However, if you asked me, Commander Saran was much better.

「Now then, we're here. The City of Water, Uruk.」

Amelia and I cheered.

The people around us who seemed to be tourists were cheering as well, so we didn't particularly stand out.

However, the city was much more spectacular than I had expected.

The ca.n.a.ls between the buildings were the streets, and the people would come and go using boats.

The ca.n.a.ls were wide enough that each and every boat seem tiny, so there was no need to worry that the boats would collide.

Overall, the city's buildings were forest green, and one could imagine that one was in the middle of nature.

Moreover, the water in the ca.n.a.ls was a light blue, and it was clear enough that one could see the bottom.

If it's this kind of scenery, then it may be possible to see it throughout the day.

Kurou glanced at us who were cheering, and turned around.

「As planned, I'll go book the hotel, so you guys can go sightseeing if you want. The meeting place for the appointment with Ria is in front of the water fountain that's in the center of the city. Then I'll take you back if you're there before the sun sets. If not, sleeping outdoors is also an option.」

Leaving these words, he promptly left.

Normally, would you leave people who had never been here behind by themselves?

「Maa, whatever. Let's go on a date, Amelia.」

「A date?」

When I held out my hand, Amelia nervously took my hand.

「Aah. I'll listen to any of your requests. It's your reward for doing your best these two weeks.」

When I said this, Amelia's cheeks were dyed red and she happily stood next to me.

「It's the first time I've ever received something like a reward.」

I smiled when I heard her muttering those words.

Amelia was elven royalty, so it was natural for her to be studying and working hard up until now.

We're talking about Amelia who was so earnest, so she probably did her best for her brethren even if those around her tried to dissuade her.

Additionally, her father was the current king.

There's no doubt that she had not been given a reward for doing her best.

「I'm glad that I'm the first one. …for now, we need to go look for the place where we're meeting Ria.」

It's known as the largest country, so it's probably large to a certain extent.

It would've been good if he at least told us about the main roads.

We didn't know which direction was right and which was left, so there's no way we knew how to get to the center.

「Akira, I want to eat that.」

「Aah. I thought that it seemed tasty as well.」

What had attracted Amelia and I, was the enticing aroma that came wafting from a store.

The aroma was, similar to that of grilled seafood like shrimp and crab.

Having said that, it didn't seem like it was shrimp or crab.

「Boss, give me two. Also, do you know how to get to the central water fountain?」

「Ohh! Thanks for your patronage!! The central water fountain is straight ahead in that direction, sonny.」

I thanked the friendly boss, and ate our food as we walked.

It looked like it was spit-roasted, but tasted like it was grilled.

TN: spit-roast is when you skewer the meat and roast it over a fire

And, it smelled like shrimp.

It was a strange food.

Incidentally, this food item was known as a scallop.

Wouldn't it be too confusing?

「Is it tasty?」

「Un. Ah, let's eat that next?」

Even though I selfishly called it a date, in the end, we were eating as we walked like we normally did.

Maa, I had expected it though.

「Akira, there are tasty-looking ones over here as well!」

Even when we were traveling by boat, we made so many detours that we were nowhere near our destination.

Ria, wasn't she more or less Uruk's princess.

Although this one was also a princess, was it alright to make her wait?

「Akira, over here, over here!」

However, I could never be harsh on Amelia who seemed to be having fun, so we made some detours.

Maa, recently, the time that we spent with just the two of us was truly, not enough, compared to when we were in the dungeon, and we weren't able to share information with each other either.

I had yet, to tell Amelia the true reason why we came to this country.

More than that, I've come to think that it would be better to continue like this and not tell her.

Even though I decided that I wouldn't keep secrets from her.

「Ah! Akira, isn't that the central water fountain?」

What came into view was, a water fountain that was even taller than the buildings.

In fact, the water fountain itself was the largest water source in the country, and it seems that the water spouted from it was used as is.

It seems that the water from seventy percent of the ca.n.a.ls came from this water fountain.

It was comparable to the elves' sacred tree, but it's different from j.a.pan's in terms of the scale.

「Ah! I've been waiting for you!!」

A certain familiar figure ran up to us.

「It's been a long time, Amelisama, Akirsama!」

I'm glad that you seem full of spirit, we looked at each other, when Ria headed towards us with a friendly smile on her face.
