Wheneverybody had regained their composure a bit, they immediate saw that theperson standing on top of the head of the fiery lion and cried out in surprise.

Cheng XiaoXiao didn’t pay any of them any attention. She stared straightly at thestartling old man.

“Senior, wasthat really necessary? Even a rabbit will fight back when it’s desperate!” Shewasn’t loud, but everybody heard her clearly.

By now, theold man in grey had regained his composure. He didn’t care about the mysticalbeasts that had him surrounded. They maybe a bit of a threat to him, but hetrust that these junior-level mystical beasts were nowhere close tolife-threatening to him.

He was moreshocked by how the young woman appeared in front of him. He did not sense herappearance at all up to that point.

With hislevel of cultivation, his mind’s eye could cover the entire town of Dalingeasily, let alone just this little village. n.o.body could move around undetectedby him.

Yet thisyoung woman appeared out of nowhere. More importantly, all these mysticalbeasts also appeared out of nowhere. This was not the ability of a regularbeast tamer, perhaps not even that of a master beast tamer.

“Youngwoman, how did you get here?” asked the old man with his eyes squinted.

Cheng XiaoXiao stood nonchalantly in front of him and said, “Oh, about the same as howsenior could hover in the air!”

“HO HO HO!”The old man’s cackling was sickening to those around them. Particularly thosewho have no cultivation, they felt dizzy and weak at their knees.

“Senior cameto our house for our mystical water and mystical animals. We can work withsenior. Will you show us some mercy?” asked Cheng Xiao Xiao as she lookedstraight at the old man, holding a jade vine in each hand.

“Youngwoman, do you think I will show you mercy just because you asked so nicely?”asked the old man sarcastically. “All I need to do is kill you all and thisplace will be mine. And if someone killed me, then this place will be there,young woman….”

“Stop. Iknow what you mean now. It was silly of them to try to reason with a bandit!”

With an angrylook, Cheng Xiao Xiao waved the jade vines in her hands and called out, “Attack!”

ARRWOOO!

Followingtheir order, all the mystical beasts lunged toward the old man in grey madly.

The two jadevines moved like two mystical snakes and also aimed toward the old man in grey.These two vines came from little Yuteng’s main branch; they were equivalent tolittle Yuteng’s limbs, and much more powerful than the normal ones.

“Xiao Xiao!”

Mrs. Chengsaw her daughter charging at the man; she could not contained her fear andpaleness and shouted out uncontrollably.

All theother people stared straight at the person standing on top of the mysticalbeast. They never knew that the pet.i.te Cheng Xiao Xiao could face such a strongopponent.

Especiallythe ones from the Tian’s. They came from the nine top sects and knew full wellhow strong this old man in grey was. They couldn’t even be sure that their sectmaster would take him on.

BrotherTian’s stared motionlessly at her silhouette. At this moment, their minds wereblank and they weren’t able to think. There was only one thought in their minds– could they really afford to offend this woman?

“Zheng Yuan,look after your mother!” Cheng Biyuan had his fallen wife in his arms as hetalked to his son. Then, immediately, he summoned his mystical beast and rushedup next to his daughter. Seeing that, Zhou Jinjiang also summoned his fierybird and hopped on top of it to join the battle!

SNAP!

BANG!

The old manin gray took on the mystical beasts with both hands. The mystical beasts wereswept out; as though struck by thunder, they all let out a pitiful cry andbounded off like cannons. The old man’s rampant qi had blew them farout.

Shrilling screams came from all corners andresounded admits the quiet forests!

“b.a.s.t.a.r.d!”Cheng Xiao Xiao’s eyes turned red from anger. She raises these mystical beastsherself; she would be sad even if only one of them were hurt. On top of that,her relations.h.i.+ps with the mystical beasts were not like those of regular beasttamers. She was more in tune with them emotionally; over the days that theyhave spent together, she was emotionally attached to them.

While he wasbounded by three pythons, the vines in Cheng Xiao Xiao’s hands finally was ableto hit him, despite the qi he had protecting him.

It was asthough the jade vines could get through his qi. Cheng Xiao Xiao wasecstatic that she was able to hi him, the vines in her hand were moving evenfaster now.

SMACK!SMACK!

“You littlebrat! You want to die? I’ll let you!”

Under hisbrutal and callous voice, he stomped down. A ripple of air expanded out fromhis foot. A giant leap and he leapt out of the surrounding mystical beasts. Hestruck with his open palm toward Cheng Xiao Xiao. Rocking heaven and earth, itwas clear that he fully intended to kill Cheng Xiao Xiao with one strike.

“Xiao Xiao,watch out!”

Right behindher, Cheng Biyuan’s eyes turned blood red as he watched on!
