Ready to knock on the door to An Yuan’s room, Han Changsheng paused when he heard a “meow” at his feet . Looking down, he saw a Dragon Li crouched in the gra.s.s nearby . The cat ran up and circled his legs a few times . Han Changsheng bent to touch its head and said, “Small stinky egg? Why are you here?”

The cat comfortably leaned its head into his hand to let him pet it .  

Han Changsheng rubbed it, and the Dragon Li licked his palm . Remembering he was there for business, he got up and said, “I don’t have food for you now, but I will come back next time . ”

Dissatisfied, the Dragon Li straightened up and rubbed his head with his paw . It pointed at Han Changsheng’s leg, wanting to be petted some more . Han Changsheng was helpless, so he rubbed the cat’s small head then flicked a spot below the cat’s neck that can’t be described* . “Go, I’ll play with you again soon . ”

The cat used his tail to cover the place Han Changsheng flicked . It was a bit shy . With a meow, it ran into the gra.s.s and disappeared .

Han Changsheng stepped forward and knocked on Au Yuan’s door .

An Yuan was surprised to find Han Changsheng on the other side . “Da s.h.i.+xiong, why did you come here?”

Han Changsheng smiled and said, “I came to see you . ” 

To see if you’re dead yet .

An Yuan hurried to let Han Changsheng inside then asked, “Did we not just separate?”

Han Changsheng replied, “An hour of separation is as long as three autumns . ”

An Yuan was stunned again, but he laughed as they sat at the table . Pouring tea for Han Changsheng, An Yuan asked, “Da s.h.i.+xiong, how is your hand fairing?”

Han Changsheng moved his injured hand in a shrug . “It’s nothing . ”
