Slowly, Han Changsheng opened his eyes.

Faint light drifted in through the small window.

He tried to sit up, but something weighed against his chest, forcing him down. s.h.i.+fting his gaze, he saw the Dog Lord's head pressed against his chest.

Han Changsheng: =口=

He tried to shove the Dog Lord away, but when he laid his hand on him, he immediately stiffened. The D-D-Dog Lord wasn't wearing any clothes!

Han Changsheng reached down, touching his waist, but just like the Dog Lord, he touched only skin!! His clothes were gone!!

No, no, no, no, no way!!

It shocked Han Changsheng. What happened last night? He couldn't remember much of it. All he remembered that he went into Qi deviation before he fell asleep and then rushed towards An Yuan. He lost his consciousness right after that. So, what happened after? Everything was hazy, but it seemed to have felt good.

Carefully moving out from under the Dog Lord, Han Changsheng held An Yuan's head in his hand and gently put it on the ground. The Dog Lord slept still, but it disturbed his sleep. Humming with displeasure, he s.h.i.+fted, then settled.

Han Changsheng stealthily pushed aside the bamboo house's door. In the early morning light, he saw the Dog Lord's tired face. He was exhausted from the night before, and several red marks covered his body. The only thing to be thankful for was that they still wore underwear. But, there was no telling whether they had taken them off and replaced them afterward.

Han Changsheng almost knelt, his legs growing soft. The only thing he remembered was that he had the initiative to jump at the Dog. Although he hurt the dog lord's hands and caused several boring nights when he stayed An Yuan, he couldn't. . . couldn't have done such a thing! It was probably the Dog Lord who came on to him! Could he still produce medicinal urine?!

"What are you doing?" A voice called from behind.

Looking back, Han Changsheng saw that An Yuan was pulling his clothes back on. He stood at the door of the bamboo house, frowning as he crossed his arms over his chest. He stared at Han Changsheng.

"You. . . You're awake?" Han Changsheng asked, his voice trembling. He laughed nervously.

An Yuan glanced up at the dark sky, displeased. "You're too loud, you woke me up. You tossed me around so late last night, then got up so early today."

Han Changsheng's heart shook. Tossed the Dog Lord around. . . tossed him. . . so late?

He thought the Dog Lord would be so angry from embarra.s.sment, he'd want to kill himself or never want to see him again. He didn't expect the Dog Lord would be so calm, like it was no big deal.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" An Yuan asked.

Pretending to be serious, Han Changsheng said, "Nothing! You, last night. . . How did you sleep?"

Once the cult head brought up the former night, An Yuan sneered. "So, the reason you wanted me to stay so badly, is to attempt that."

Han Changsheng sucked in a breath of cold air. Yesterday, when An Yuan said he plotted against him for his beauty, and he even scolded the Dog Lord confidently for being insane. But, last night, he went into Qi deviation and lost his consciousness. Maybe he had done such a thing? Though he didn't do it of his own will, he really couldn't deny it now.

"Really. . ." Han Changsheng said, sincerely, "It's not. . . It was an accident. . ."

An Yuan snorted, words of disbelief written on his face. He limped to a stream not far off, ready to wash his face.

Following him, Han Changsheng kept his eyes low, thinking it over. Although it was his first time, Han Changsheng firmly believed he was the best at anything, including this kind of thing. An Yuan didn't get angry. It must have been because the Dog Lord tasted the forbidden fruit and wanted more. What could he do, if the Dog Lord pestered himself to do that kind of thing every day afterward?

He could always change his ident.i.ty and escape back to the Tianning Cult.

"Do you feel better than you did last night?"

Han Changsheng lowered his head to think about his troubles.

Unexpectedly, An Yuan stopped in his tracks; the cult leader almost ran into him by accident. He raised his head in a daze. "Ah? What?"

An Yuan was impatient. "Your internal power. You went into Qi deviation last night, are you better now?"

It stunned Han Changsheng. He quickly sat down cross-legged and focused on moving the true Qi.

A moment later, he opened his eyes in surprise. "Eh? How could this be?"

Though his internal power was still unstable, it was different. His Dantian had filled. When it was full, he couldn't stand up straight because of the acid. When it was empty, he couldn't even summon half his internal power. But now, his Dantian was more finely refined. No matter how the internal power diffused and overflowed, at least that little part inside was still there. When he didn't have internal power, he couldn't be defeated because he didn't have to fight against anyone else's internal power.

"Are you pretending you don't remember?" An Yuan asked.

"What happened last night?" Han Changsheng asked. Did he and An Yuan stabilize their internal skills at the same time during dual cultivation? This would make things more difficult for him. Did he have to sell his body to practice kung fu?

An Yuan sneered. "Why pretend to be stupid? You took me here and let me sleep in the same room as you. You held me last night and refused to let me go, just to get me to help you adjust your life force respite? Don't worry, I'll help you."

He was in disbelief. Did An Yuan a.s.sist his respite? Was that why he was better off today than yesterday? The old man Xuanji said the villa leader Huangfu of the Tianyuan villa would have a set of ancestral internal mental skills, which could help him cure his ailments. Did An Yuan also have that kind of internal mental skill? So last night, he and An Yuan didn't do the thing?

Han Changsheng vaguely thought of something. It was painful to get through the congestion of meridians by force. He didn't remember what happened, but his chest still ached. Now and then, he had lingering fears in his heart.

An Yuan went to the stream and squatted down, was.h.i.+ng his face with clear water. Catching up to him again, Han Changsheng asked, "That. . . Then why weren't we dressed?"

"After your Qi deviation, your body started burning up, you were dripping with sweat. I helped you, then drenched in sweat, so I took my clothes off." An Yuan frowned. "Are you pretending to be stupid, or do you not remember?"

Han Changsheng was silent. The Dog Lord limped because of his foot injury. So. . . Nothing happened last night!

Han Changsheng smiled, and An Yuan stared at him, then finished was.h.i.+ng and walked back.

Chasing after him again, Han Changsheng said, "Good apprentice, you can do this. You saved my life."

An Yuan didn't care about him. His face practically spoke for itself, saying, "Don't play dumb, you brought me here just for this."

"Aren't you an amnesiac?" Han Changsheng asked curiously, "How do you know that kung fu technique?"

An Yuan halted. Again, Han Changsheng nearly ran into him.

An Yuan squinted at him, his whole body cold. He raised his eyebrows as he spoke. "Master Hua Xiaosha, didn't you save me in pa.s.sing? How do you know that I lost my memory?"

Han Changsheng was stuck. d.a.m.n it, he forgot that this ident.i.ty shouldn't have known everything about An Yuan!

However, what kind of expert liar Han Changsheng would be if he can't tell a lie that could sell all his previous lies? He immediately s.h.i.+fted his high and mighty att.i.tude and expression. Gently, he said, "I examined your body, and there is a blood clot in your brain. I knew you had lost your memory when I looked at you. This teacher knows a little of medicine."

An Yuan looked at him in silence. To be honest, Han Changsheng exhibited a mighty aura, but he was wearing only a pair of underwear. He didn't look at all like a great martial arts G.o.d.

Turning back, An Yuan went to the bamboo house. He put on his coat, tied on his belt, and began to bind up his hair.

Han Changsheng followed suit, quickly putting on his clothes. Pretending not to care, he stood behind An Yuan, saying, "I have quite a shortcoming because I went astray during my practice, and I often have the risk of Qi deviation. I didn't expect that you could cure me. It was by chance. After your treatment last night, this teacher feels much more comfortable, but the treatment is not complete. I can teach you how to fight with swords as a teacher, but only if you can help me unblock my channels. That would be wonderful."

He felt better than he did a day earlier, but the goodness was limited. Old man Xuanji's internal strength was powerful. The power he had originally wasn't poor, and now the two internal forces perpetually clashed with each other. It was like the thunder of heaven and the fire of earth. It was better to die than to suffer. If Han Changsheng's talent wasn't unique, he was afraid that when the old man Xuanji pa.s.sed the work, his meridians would have burst and died.

After An Yuan's cleanse, Han Changsheng felt the two internal forces were no longer at war. Then again, he was in a serious situation and couldn't be cured just once or twice. It would take a long time. Fortunately, though the Dog Lord lost his memory, he didn't forget his ancestral internal mental skill, so he could fully integrate the two internal forces in his body in just a few days. His ability could top the others' accomplishments for a hundred years! When the time came, there may not be any worthy opponent in the world!

An Yuan put down his comb and turned to Han Changsheng, a cold smile on his face. "I said I would help you."

An Yuan is saying good things, but Han Changsheng had an ominous premonition. The gorgeous, treacherous smile of the dog lord made gooseb.u.mps rise along his flesh.

"Originally, I didn't want to stay here," An Yuan said, slowly, "I don't believe you are just this kind to me; that you just want to teach me swordsmans.h.i.+p out of goodwill. But now, I'd like to stay. From today on, I will regularly teach you the method of regulating your Qi, which can suppress your true Qi and can make your two strange internal forces mingle harmoniously. How long and how much it will take is under my control. Whether I can help you would depend on my mood – or how you behave."

An Yuan got close to Han Changsheng. His sparkling eyes made him s.h.i.+ver. "I can make you die by reversing the flow of your Qi and your blood. If you leave me, you can't control yourself from Qi deviation, and you will die with blood spurting out from your seven orifices. Understand? Your life and death are in my hands. So, from today on, you'd better listen to me, my "good master"!"

Han Changsheng had the impulse to look up to the sky and scream.

G.o.dd.a.m.n immortals! What the h.e.l.l are you doing?! He would never be free of An Yuan's narcissism!

Hurry and return his four advance cultures and five beauty qualities, his spoonfed royal and properly-raised Lord!!! =口=

童子尿 – urine of boys under 12, used as medicine. Editor's Note: I think An Yuan meant to say is he no longer a virgin capable of producing medicine urine? (O.O)
