Scene seven:

Back at Kingdom Palace, the King was furious . He sent out search party to find his youngest son . All they found was the bodyguard and the dead a.s.sa.s.sins . He was not sure if his son was captured or dead already . How is he going to face his wife in the afterlife? The palace was in a chaos .

The King did not think that an outdoor event could have a tragic end for one of his sons . Everything the a.s.sa.s.sins had on them even their weapons, there was nothing distinct that could give out clues as to where the a.s.sa.s.sins are from .

The Prince personal bodyguard was rescued shortly after he pa.s.sed out . He was treated but he could not save the Prince and the Prince had disappeared . He felt very guilty of his incompetency and felt like he should not have lived . As he was feeling guilty and kneeling in front of the King, the Prince walked through the door looking unscathed .

"Brother!" the older Prince yelled in surprised .

The King looked towards the entrance and saw his youngest son walking towards them . He was so happy . His most capable son is alive .

Prince Mua Kong went up before his father and kneeled on one knee, "Father, I'm sorry for worrying you . "

The King was happy but still had to play the role of King, "Where were you?" He asked in curious .

"I was attacked but I escaped . It took a few days to get my strength back and I took some times to investigate on my own . " The Prince glanced at his royal bodyguard who at this moment was so happy to see him .

The King had two sons but he knew that his younger son is more capable than his first son . His youngest son is so hard to understand sometimes and unpredictable but he always have a leaders.h.i.+p presence and move several steps ahead . Not only that, several years back, a random diviner they b.u.mped into had prophesied that his youngest son will one day combined the two neighboring Kingdoms and bring peace to the entire continent . Since then he had slowly tested and watch his son to see if his son possessed the traits to combine the three Kingdoms that are currently archenemy .

Prince Mua Kong continued, "Father, can you leave this matter for me to investigate?"

The King had already gathered intel and ready to dispatch them to further investigate . When he heard his son said this, he looked at the son before him, many thoughts flashed through his mind . However, this would be a great opportunity to test his son's ability .

The older Prince budged in, "Father, my little brother's life was in danger, this could be too much for him . Let me help him in this case . "

The younger Prince glanced at his brother, "Brother, there is no need for you to a.s.sist me . You already have enough on your plate . I can take care of this problem myself . I've got to grow up sometimes . "

Back at Prince Mua Kong's place, he issued an order for his personal bodyguard, "Go to Buffalo Mountain and find out which brothel chased two sisters and killed one of them . Burn that place down when you find it . " He then handed a rolled up scroll to his bodyguard .

The bodyguard took the scroll and opened it . In the scroll was a hand drawn map of the little hut . "My Lord, what is this?" The bodyguard asked with a confused look .

"Send some bodyguards to guard the place marked on the map . Do not let anyone knows of these two activities . There should be an elderly woman and a girl . They saved my life but we let one a.s.sa.s.sin escaped . I can't afford to be careless," Prince Mua Kong said with an iceless expression and a glint of killing intent in his eyes .
