Chapter 26

The man who rushed out while gripping his arm collapsed stiffly onto the ground with a dull sound. His throat emitted gurgling sounds as his body twitched. Two men stepped out from the crowd, picked him up with one on each side and dragged him away. Soon afterwards, those people came back out again and quickly changed the blood-stained carpet into a clean one.

Once that was done, those men in black suits bowed to the other gamblers to express their apology before leaving.

From beginning to end, they didn't provide them with any explanations.

Xu Ziyue carefully took in the NPC's expressions. They could roughly be divided into two types.

The five of them didn't actually want to talk to Xu Ziyue because they didn't know if Xu Ziyue had been parasitised yet. However, even if they didn't say anything, there were quite a few onlookers so Xu Ziyue could still get information from the nearby NPCs.

"He went overboard earlier and didn't have enough chips so he could only bet his arm."

"I'll go and get my money and give you a chip each. If you win…..You can pay me back but if you lose……don't worry about it."

The eyes of the five players widened. They looked at Xu Ziyue incredulously.
