We spent one night together.

I returned to my room in a daze.

By the way, Clark-sama went to work. Looks like he's busy. I'd like him to stop being concerned about me if he's so busy.

Yesterday was the worst. He kissed me all over my face with the exception of my lips, whispered his love, and caressed my body — I thought my head was going to overheat.

And you can guess what happened to me.

I fainted.

I completely overheated. I wasn't able to handle it.

Because of that, although I did it unwillingly, I got along with Clark-sama and went bye-bye.

And because this is important, I'll say it: Clark-sama did as he said, he won't violate me. Because of that, I managed to sleep soundly until morning.

And the busy Clark-sama whispered his love to me early in the morning as he left.

What I'm grateful for is that I was able to go back to my room without anyone finding out that Clark-sama and I shared a bed last night.

I let out a sigh. Despite having slept soundly, what's with this tired feeling I have?

I stood up from the chair I was sitting on and tried to move the table.

“Hngggggg!”

It's heavier than it looks!

“May I ask what you're doing?”

It was Maria who entered the room with a troubled face. Pus.h.i.+ng a cart that carried breakfast. Now that I think about it, I'm hungry.

“Maria, won't you help me?”

“Why do you need to move the table?”

She bent her head slightly to one side. Each and every one of her actions are so cute.

“So that no one can use this secret door.”

“There's a secret door here!?”

And just like that, her eyes twinkled.

“As expected, a castle would have something like that!”

“Yes, that's right, but that's not important right now.”

“For it to move when you remove a book is just standard!”

The excited Maria pulled out Clark-sama's diary. The door moved. Maria's eyes sparkled.

“It opened!”

“Yes, I know that very well.”

“That much was apparent!”

As expected of a trap that Maria understood from just one glance. It made me sad how easily I got caught in it.

Leaving aside the miserable me, Maria peeked into the room next door.

“This looks like someone's room.”

“It's Clark-sama's room.”

“Eh?!”

Maria opened her eyes in shock.

“Has he always been in this room!?”

“Ah, no, I don't know when, but he was here yesterday.”

As Maria let out a ‘Huh,' she returned the book, closing the door.

“Such dedicated love, huh?”

“Don't say it!”

“Then did you come to this room? Or did you specifically go?”

“Don't ask me!”

Despite covering my ears, and shaking my head, Maria didn't hold herself back from her curiosity.

“That's enough, let's just eat breakfast!”

When I said that, Maria reluctantly prepared them. She's awfully dedicated to her job.

“So may I ask why you wanted to move the table?”

“I thought to block the door so it won't open.”

When I answered honestly, Maria looked disappointed.

“Doesn't that make things boring despite having such an exciting door? It would be for me.”

“You're enjoying my situation, aren't you?”

“Love stories concerning n.o.bles and royalty are extremely fascinating to us servants.”

“I didn't know that!”

“Please provide us with more wonderful stories!”

“No way!”

“First of all, please tell me what happened yesterday!”

“Don't wanna!”

“Madam's so mean!”

Maria puffed out her cheeks. That's cute, but no way am I telling her. That's cause if I did, she'll definitely gossip about it with her co-workers. And don't call me madam.

“I'll just do it myself then!”

I tried to move the table as I shouted that. It only moved just a few millimeters. My arms were trembling.

“Madam.”

Maria spoke, having finished setting up breakfast.

“You usually look like a monkey, but deep down, you're actually like a small animal.”

“What do you mean by that?!”

Poor Letty, being called a monkey…
