Chapter 19

Rong Yi swayed behind him for a while, then stepped forward and squatted down beside him.

He reached over to pat Chen Keyao's back. “Did you drink too much?”

Chen Keyao finally stopped and looked up at the Rong Yi.

His expression was very complex but he did not speak.

"Do you want me to help you?”

When he asked, he didn't wait for Chen Keyao to answer, and suddenly stood up. He'd just reached out when suddenly, his whole world was spinning. Rong Yi stumbled. Seeing that he couldn't maintain his balance, he sat down on the ground, only to be pulled back up.

“Didn't you say that you wanted to help me?” Chen Keyao looked at him with a grin. “Where's this going?”

It was already afternoon when Rong Yi woke up the next day.

His hangover felt very uncomfortable; his head was particularly heavy and there was also a dull pain.

He opened his eyes and squinted at the ceiling for a while, only to remember that he seemed to have brought someone back yesterday. But looking around the room now, there was no one else.

Zhou Li walked to the bedside chair and sat down. “Your roommate.”

There were two bathrooms in the house; one in the room where Chen Keyao lived, and the other was connected to the living room corridor. There was no private bathroom in Rong Yi's room.

Zhou Li said that he had woke up at noon and was eager to go to the toilet to wash his clothes. He waited for a long time but Rong Yi was still sleeping like the dead, so he found his own way out.

The bathroom was not difficult to find, but he had no tools. He could only rinse his mouth with water and wipe his face with a paper towel.

“The result was that when I pushed the door out, I saw a person in the living room! It scared me!” Zhou Li gently stroked his face twice as he said that. “So tall, such a fierce expression, and there was a long scar on his face!”

Rong Yi didn't hold back and laughed.

Chen Keyao, this person, who would not talk and only frown, really did look a bit fierce. But not so long ago, he had nothing to do with the word fierce.

Therefore, he didn't have the face to explain this misunderstanding.

He had no appet.i.te and his mood was beginning to fall. After he had finished was.h.i.+ng up, he'd walked into the kitchen and felt his stomach flip upside down from the smell.

Chen Keyao had finished heating up a quiche in the microwave oven and looked quite proud. He rushed over to Rong Yi and said, “Eat, you eat this.”

After taking it from Chen Keyao, he put it aside and then opened the refrigerator to see if there was any other food.

“Don't you want to eat it?” Chen Keyao looked very sorry.

“The yoghurt I bought the day before yesterday,” Rong Yi said, looking back at him. “I put it in the door, did you eat it?”

Chen Keyao froze a bit. “…ah.”

Rong Yi frowned. “My stomach is a little uncomfortable, I can't eat this.”

Yoghurt Theif Chen Keyao was very embarra.s.sed. “I'll go buy you a box now.”

After he finished speaking, he walked straight to the door. Before Rong Yi could even speak up to stop him, the phone in his pocket suddenly rang.

“Now? Mm-hmm… Sure, how long will you have to go for? Well, yes… wait one moment,” Chen Keyao said, looking back at Rong Yi. “Is there anything else you want?”

Rong Yi mouthed to him. “Your friend?”

“Liu Yuan, ah,” Chen Keyao said, “so you're welcome.”

It seemed that an old bro of Chen Keyao's from his university dorm had gone back to his hometown a while ago and brought back a bunch of specialities. He had given Chen Keyao's share to Liu Yuan and asked him to give it to him in his free time.

After listening, Rong Yi didn't know why he felt embarra.s.sed.

Rong Yi had heard that Chen Keyao, a guy who'd chased two out of the four people in his dormitory, still had a close relations.h.i.+p with his roommates. It was really incredible. Maybe all the big-hearted Alphas of their school were in the same dorm.

Hearing that friends would be coming over, Zhou Li took the initiative to leave.

Rong Yi wanted him to stay for dinner, but Zhou Li said that he was feeling uncomfortable from not bathing last night and wanted to hurry back to change his clothes. Although he was also an Omega, unfortunately, Rong Yi's body was much larger than Zhou Li's and none of his clothes would fit.

As the two were talking, the lift door opened.

Standing in the door was a man.

“Are you here to pick me up?”

Liu Yuan walked out grinning with two plastic bags. Then when he moved his line of sight to the other person, he suddenly froze.

“Then, I'll go?” Zhou Li turned and waved his hand before walking into the lift.

Just as he reached out and tried to press the b.u.t.ton for the ground floor, Liu Yuan, who had just stepped out of the elevator, suddenly stepped back in.

“Where are you going, the ground floor? Come on, I'll do it for you!”
