Chapter 7: The Second Novel and the Creation of G.o.ds

"My lord, Why are you sending me to heaven? I want to be beside you."

"Jay, Why are you so unwilling to go to heaven? Heaven is a place where one can enjoy luxury and happiness. Even if you go to heaven, you will still be my follower."

"My lord, my heaven is where you will be. My lord, heaven will be like h.e.l.l to me if you are not there."

Somewhere above the clouds, two figures could be seen. The first was immensely majestic, divine beams of light were emerging from that figure. It looked like the whole world was solely brightened because of that figure. It was unclear if the figure was a boy or girl.

The voice of that figure was reverberating in the whole sky, yet the sound was so pleasant to hear. The eyes of that figure were looking down on another person.

In front of that figure, a bald man named Jay wearing white robes was kneeling with his head down. He dared not to look at the majestic figure. The monk knew his eyes would be unable to endure those divine light and he would be blinded if he tried to watch.

"My lord, ever since I have known about you and your philosophies, my life had changed, and I then became a follower of you. I renounced the material world and became a monk to wors.h.i.+p you, to follow you. I did so to became closer with you and to spread your teachings. I gave up greed, anger, l.u.s.t, pride, and resentment. I only kept your love in my heart and spread love in the world."

"I helped many people in need, gave food to hungry people, and gave a roof to homeless. I will be lying, My lord, if I say I had no expectations when I helped those needy people. My only expectation was to become close to you. I did so following your teachings. I had no selfishness hidden inside."

"My lord, I believe I have lived my 80 years of life following your teachings. I gave up those long years in service to you. In those 80 years, I think I have done nothing. I never made anyone sad or harmed another soul be it animals or human."

There was no sound from the majestic figure. The silence continued for a while.

After a moment, Jay continued with a defeated expression.

"My lord, Since you are unwilling to give this follower a small place beside you, I must have done something wrong. Please enlighten this mortal's mistake."

End of chapter 30.

"Finally! Chapter 30 finished writing and also done posting the chapter."

Cyril closed his laptop and put it down near to his pillow. He was leaning in the bed using two pillows against the wall. There was a slight smile on his face.

Cyril noticed that ever since the accident three months ago, his body and mind became much faster and sharper. His body also started to heal faster.

Cyril was still in the hospital since the train incident three months ago. Now he was almost 85% healed. Doctors said he could be discharged the next day.

"Hahahaha!"

Cyril lied down on the bed and then covered his whole body with a thin blanket.

After a moment, a peal of creepy laughter was heard.

Remembering something, Cyril was thrilled so much that he couldn't hold back his laughter.

One month ago, Cyril started writing a new novel- his second new novel t.i.tled, "The legends of Almighty." In 30 days, he wrote 30 chapter which was double of his previous writings capacity. Previously, he could write a chapter per two to three days, but now, he could write a chapter per day. It greatly shocked him. This made him full of happiness.

His second novel was getting good reviews. There were also bad ones. In fact, about 75% were bad reviews, and only 25% were good.

Cyril was not very optimistic about this second novel which was related to G.o.ds. In this modern age, Cyril thought who would believe in G.o.ds. Even if some people did, they existed in very few numbers. However, as he kept posting chapters, he started getting a proper evaluation.

For Cyril, who was happy even when he previously got only about 5% good reviews, that 25% made him extremely happy that he couldn't hold back his laughter.

Of course, the real reason why his novel was getting popular was because of the mystical fantasy genre with an impactful plot. Maybe that life and death encounter caused him to change his views of the way of the world, unlike ordinary people.

After a long laugh, Cyril paused for a moment and let out a soft sigh.

These three months had been very tough and uncomfortable for him.

The first cause was his injuries which made him unable to get up or do anything. Cyril couldn't eat solid food and could only eat liquid-like foods. He would pee or p.o.o.p in the bed.

It was extremely shameful.

He was even now embarra.s.sed as he remembered the time when a young female nurse was helping him to eat, to change his clothes, to pee, to p.o.o.p with an extremely red face. Cyril didn't know if she was embarra.s.sed or angry. He also felt so ashamed, thus didn't use his powers to know her thoughts.

But after he could do those things by himself, he never saw her.

Another reason!

Fear!

Cyril was always living in fear.

After four weeks from the train incident, Officer Leon came to inform him that the girl might come again to kill him.

"I have two good news and two bad news. Which one you want to hear first?" Officer Leon smiled.

"Umm! Good news." Cyril said with some hesitation.

"Okay! There is two good news. One is very good, and the other is just good. Which one do you want to hear first?" Officer asked again.

"OFFICER, Can you PLEASE just speak out? I don't CARE." Cyril said in an irritated voice.

"If you don't want to choose, then that's fine. You don't need to get angry. Boys these days, can't control their temper. Tsk!" Officer Leon shook his head as he made the sound with his tongue.

"..." Cyril looked dumbfounded as he didn't know what to say.

"... Fine, I will tell you. We investigated and found out she was an a.s.sa.s.sin from an organization called 'Council of Sin'." Officer Leon said in a severe tone.

"Council of Sin.." Cyril murmured loudly.

"Yes, it's an a.s.sa.s.sin organization which takes money to kill. We don't have any information more than that." Officer Leon continued.

"Why was she killing people on the train? There are many possibilities. Most probably someone paid to kill a person on the train, and to misled others about the real target, she chose to kill other people." Officer paused and then continued, "Other possibilities could be that she was paid to kill all people on the train or she just went wild because of some reason and killed the people."

Officer Leon stared at Cyril and resumed, "Even in all the possibilities, one thing doesn't make sense. Why did she leave you alive? Killing you wouldn't even take her a second."

This question Officer Leon asked, even Cyril didn't have the answer. The purge was started because of him, but the strange thing was, in the end, he was not killed.

This was too strange.

'Maybe she thought I was dead after that knife got stabbed in my chest' Thinking this, Cyril smiled warily. 'Or maybe not! There could be some other reason.'

Officer Leon said, "We have already covered up the news that you are the sole survivor and hid any information related about the girl. We also transferred the blame to others. Even with all that, you still need to be careful. She might come again."

Cyril's mind was preoccupied with complex thoughts and also with fear. Thus, he forgot to ask about good news. Officer Leon didn't also remind him and left with a mysterious smile.

Cyril moved his gaze towards the door as he heard the sound of the door opening.

Cyril saw a girl in nurse uniform coming inside the room. That girl was stunning. Her big twin peaks attracted his eyes. Cyril's eyes looked more down and came to a stop for a second to appreciate those curves and hips. The white legs then charmed his eyes.

The nurse was incredibly appealing, and the pink nurse uniform added more s.e.xiness.

Cyril heartbeat increased. He couldn't move his eyes even for a second.

Cyril thought she was the perfect creation made by the G.o.ds. G.o.ds, while creating her, made with so much of concern like a potter while making pots, afraid that the pot will crack even if he lifted his gaze for a second.

Cyril somehow found that girl familiar.

Cyril saw the people and the guards outside were stealthily taking a look.

The door closed and the nurse walked towards him.

That walk was similar to the models doing the catwalk and looked extremely ravis.h.i.+ng.

Oof, Cyril couldn't control himself.
