Leo looked at the alert in front of his eyes . ' Has it already been 24 hours ?'

[ Yes ]

He stared at the new alert in surprise ' You are scaring me , system . Have you been possessed ?'

He waited for a response but when he got nothing , he understood that the system only responds to things relating to increasing his strength . ' Geez , I feel bored like this .'

He ran into an ally and spread his wings to fly , but before he flew he said in a low voice " I'm just going back to the hotel ." Then flapped his wings and flew off .

~whoosh~

Exactly 5m behind where he flew off from , the same man that was at the mayor's office appeared and said " Arrogant ." Then vanished again .

After getting in through the same window he flew out of he directly laid on the bed .

He noticed Leah looking at him with a smile so he turned her way and said " How was your day ?"

She looked around , as if confused , then pointed at her face and said " Me ?"

Leo laughed at her cute actions and said " Who else do you see ?"

" Hmm ." She nodded and explained " I slept the whole day ."

Leo looked surprised and said " You've gotten lazy ."

" Don't blame me for not being able to sleep properly mid air ." She said with a pout .

Leo laughed and turned the other way . He saw the alert again and thought ' Can I say no ?'

' Isn't this OP if I get more Mana ?' Leo thought . He looked through it all and went through it once again . ' What's this darkness got to do with anything ?'

' ... ' Leo thought a little and then even more and came to a single conclusion ' I am the angel of death . I was chosen to kill . That G.o.d was impressed by my emotionless killing .'

He thought ' Might as well do it . It's not like it's the only thing I have to do .'

" Brother ." He heard Leah's voice ." I feel lonely ."

He instantly turned towards her and asked " Why ? What happened ?"

" Brother , Please ." She said as tears rolled down her cheeks . " Say something ."

' Silence ' She thought . ' Is he sleeping '

' You mean ... This silence ! I have to endure this silence ?'

" Brother " She looked at her brother as she was on the brink of crying " I feel lonely "

She saw him looking at her and even heard his voice , but it was as if she completely ignored it . ' I can't hear him '

She continued looking as tears flowed from her eyes " Brother , please " She sobbed as the tears rolled down her cheeks " Say something "

She saw Leo come towards her and felt him hold her shoulders as she heard a voice " I am right here . Look at me ." Her eyes , as if controlled by something looked up , into those deep golden eyes , but when she heard nothing the tears increased " Brother , I can't hear you . Please . Say something ." She shouted . She felt him sit her on the bed as she hugged her " Say something . I don't like this silence . Please . Say something . I can't hear you ."

Her hold on him tightened . She felt him hold her too and heard a voice directly in her ears " I am right here . I will speak all you want . Please , stop . Don't cry . Brother can't bear to see you cry ."

She felt something warm on her shoulders . She instinctively looked up , and saw tears , in her brother's eyes . Her heart hurt even more . She directly placed her face on his chest , perhaps to avoid seeing him cry , or perhaps to hide her tears from him , but she held onto him even tighter as she hid her face into his chest .

She heard him call out to her again " Elly , what do I do ? I don't know how to talk to people " She laughed in her heart ' How could I forget , my brother never has any meaningful thoughts ' But she still did not let him go " I just want to hear your voice . That's all . Just your voice ."

She couldn't hear his thoughts , so she wanted him to speak . She wanted to hear him . That was all .

She heard a faint laugh " What happened so suddenly , Elly ? You were just fine some time ago ."

She felt guilty . She couldn't just tell him she had been hearing all his thoughts from the start . He wanted to comfort her , by making himself her brother . She couldn't bear to let his efforts go to waste .

" Tell me a story ." She said , changing the subject , in what she thought was a commanding tone , but what came out , due to her crying was just a weak voice .

Leo thought she had calmed down a little , but didn't want her to cry anymore . He just held onto her and lay on the bed with her in his embrace . " How about I tell you a story of a princess " He said as he smiled and wiped the tears from his eyes . ' Never again .' He thought ' I don't want that feeling ever again .'

He knew what it was like to be alone . From what he heard , it seems she had encountered sudden deafness . She probably could not hear anything , and started feeling lonely . He held onto her tighter and slowly told her all the stories he had heard from when he was a kid . ' I will make sure it doesn't happen ever again .'

After a long time he finally heard her breathing steadily and thought she had fallen asleep . He didn't want to leave her . So he held onto her and slept calmly for the whole night .

A/N : People had been pestering me about how her reading his thoughts was a problem . I was going to put it to use in a future arc , but I hate criticism ( Even though I ask for it ) .
