Chapter 61 Tina the Maid

Although the entrance of the brigand cave was high enough for Diandian to enter, it seemed like the hill with only the size of a mill-pan would not have much content for adventures to explore. Could it be that there was another world inside the hill?

Zhou Yu curiously looked at the cave carefully with a flashlight, but before he could see it clearly, he heard a series of shouts from the cave. Then a group of people with disheveled hairs, wearing various animal skins running out of the cave and shooting tiny arrows at him. There were also some others howling loudly and charging towards him with the weapons made of stone. However, because they could leave the cave very far, they could only shout at Zhou Yu at the edge of the hill.

Being shot by arrows was surprisingly painful. It was like being bitten by mosquitos. Having had a body that could interact with both reality and the ACG world, Zhou Yu became the only real person that could be attacked by the brigand from the ACG world.

Thinking that he should not provoke the irascible brigands any further, Zhou Yu decided to turn off the flashlight. This time, the brigands finally quieted down. They slowly gathered together and went back to the cave. In terms of scale, there were about twenty or thirty brigands, and their equipment was rough. It was indeed a newbie-level dungeon, probably any newbie adventurers’ groups would be able to deal with it.

At this moment, Diandian finally came out.

As Zhou Yu looked carefully, he was shocked by the things that were worn by Diandian. With the saddle, the armor and the reins that were personally made by Jack Mouse, Diandian looked murderous. Even its beak and claws which were the main battle weapons, were also equipped with steel armor sets. With everything combined together, Diandian now looked like Chocobo(Note) in Final Fantasy series.

In front of this set of riding gear, the only choice for Big Yellow of the Little Rat’s family would be submission.

Jack Mouse, who was on the back of Diandian, did not use a small sword. Instead, it was changed into a lance, that was typically used in horse battle. Plus a set of full body armor, he was like a steel beast ready to attack someone, when he pulled down the visor armor. Not bad for a real adventurer. With this kind of outfit, it was more than enough to intimidate people.

Being fully armed for the first time, and having a person on its back, Diandian felt a little bit uncomfortable. But because it was Jack, it did not struggle too much. Jack’s riding skill was very good. He was riding Diandian steadily without swaying at all. Holding the reins in one hand and a lance on the other hand, it was as if he could charge at any time.

“Landowner, please took after the pub for me, I will be back very soon.”

Jack’s tone sounded so relaxed. Defeating a group of brigands was a waste of his skill to him. After saying that to Zhou Yu, Diandian began to head toward the brigand cave. This time, Zhou Yu could finally get a good look at how they fight.

Under the illumination of the flashlight, Zhou Yu could see that the size of Diandian gradually decreased after it entered the cave, and eventually it was shrunk to a size that was only about one centimeter big. With this size, it indeed was able to start a wonderful adventure inside. Unfortunately, after making a few turns, Jack and Diandian disappeared from Zhou Yu’s sight.

Moving his ears close to the cave, after a period of time, there were some fighting sounds and Diandian’s chirping noises, but most noises were the screams of brigands. After all the sounds disappeared, Diandian gradually appeared at the entrance of the cave gradually again. There were no scars on its body. Even Jack Mouse was also the same. They were so relaxed as if they had just gone to visit their relatives.

Fortunately, there were no Brigands’ heads in its hand. It would be very hardcore if that really happened. But to Zhou Yu’s surprise, there was another person on Diandian’s back, and she was a very young girl. Most importantly, she was wearing a maid’s dress.

‘Don’t tell me that the leader of the brigands is a maid?’

Fortunately, Jack explained, “Her name is Tina. She was kidnapped by the brigand. She has no idea where her hometown is. And It happened that she used to be a waitress. So she will be staying in our pub in the future.”

‘d.a.m.n, you are such a lucky man. Just a simple adventure, it could even become a cla.s.sic trope of saving the damsel-in-distress.’

Little Tina looked only thirteen or fourteen years old. She was more pure and lovely in a maid’s dress, but she seemed only to trust Jack Mouse. Hiding behind its back, she didn’t dare to look at other people. It seemed like there was no way to communicate with her now. Zhou Yu could only wait after she adapted to the environment of Mini Luhua Village, and see if things would change.

In addition to a loli maid, there were other loots in this adventure – 320 Moe Coins, an adventurer’s seed, a tattered brigand’s suit. If he could have such loots every day, then his income would increase dramatically, and there would be no need to save strenuously for many days to buy functional buildings.

However, this dream was destroyed by Jack.

Jack Mouse was already a retired adventurer, so it did not want to continue to go on adventures. This time, it just wanted Diandian to familiarize itself with the terrain. In the future, whenever there was a new Dungeon, it would bring Diandian to examine the level of the dungeon and all kinds of internal information. Those would be an very important source of income of the pub in the future.

It meant, that either Zhou Yu needed to train adventurers himself, or he had to wait for adventurers from other places to visit here. Adventurer’s seed was indeed available, but without the correct hoes to plough the soil correctly, planting would be impossible. Therefore he could only store it in the storage room and slowly wait for the right hoe to appear.

………………………

Recently, Little Rat and his minions have come to visit Diandian very frequently. There was no other particular reason. It was just the way Diandian dressed was way too awesome!

No one knew where did brother Yu got his inspiration from, but he has prepared a very awesome set of armor for Diandian. After wearing it, Diandian was like Zhao Zilong(Zhao Yun) in the chicken species. There was no other chicken that was able to compete with Diandian, even its old enemy – Big Yellow.

Wearing its armor set, Diandian was patrolling the yard slowly and leisurely like a general inspecting his territory. The children were completely awed by its imposing appearance. n.o.body could have imagined that in just little over a month, Diandian would become so magnificent.

But there was also a question, having armor was understandable, but what was the use of that saddle-like thing? Who could possibly ride a chicken?

No one really knew what brother Yu was thinking.

Diandian now served as a guard of the house. To the rats and mice running around the house, Diandian was like a nemesis to them. Whenever they encountered Diandian, they would desperately try to run away. Zhou Yu could often see Diandian chasing the squealing mice and rats in the yard. It was able to kill several of them in a day. At this rate, those mice and rat, who once lived in happy lives, would be exterminated by Diandian soon.

However, there was one thing that Zhou Yu didn’t understand. Jack was also a mouse and he was Diandian’s trainer, why would Diandian like to kill mice?

Maybe all the dissatisfaction in the training was vented out that way. Zhou Yu couldn’t help but think that way.

In addition to the impressive appearance, Diandian was also very obedient. Once, there were two little girls wanting to draw General Diandian, so Diandian stood there motionlessly with its head high like a guard. It didn’t fly away until the two girls finished drawing.

So the armored chicken soon became famous.

Speaking of the most famous thing that Diandian had done, it would be an incident that happened a few days ago. In this incident, Diandian’s performance completely destroyed everyone’s three views…

…. Note…

Three views are the world view, the life philosophy, and value system.
