Chapter 17 I’m The One Who Killed You 

The night in the mountain for sure will not be a peaceful one . Under the dark, night sky, sparks can somehow be seen occasionally . The sound of gunshots can still be heard at times, it had even caused the surrounding living things to wake up from the shock of it .

Who would’ve thought that a village consisting of a few hundred villagers hiding firearms on them, would let a few girls with no way of self-defense to escape .

Standing in front of the entrance of the village, Chen Ah Si took out a gun and pointed it towards Grandma w.a.n.g’s head with a dark face .

“Spit it, how did they even manage to escape?”

The coldness from the barrel of the gun made her feel her head going numb from the chills . Grandma w.a.n.g and her son were kneeling on the ground and said with a trembling voice,

“Three, one of them was caught today and was fed with knockout drops, logically speaking she wouldn’t be waking up so soon . I-I also don’t know… . . Please, please don’t kill us . ”

If it hadn’t been for one of the villagers to have said that there was someone that had escaped and ask for everyone’s cellars to be checked, she wouldn’t have even known that they had escaped . Remembering how cruel Chen Ah Si can be, she lowered her body even more .

G.o.d knows where that girl came from, if she would’ve known, she wouldn’t have even brought her back .

Chen Ah Si slightly narrowed his small eyes . After Grandma w.a.n.g finished her sentence, he then began to think deeply . After a while,

“Bring her out . ”

After his sentence dropped, a girl with shackles on her feet was pushed onto the ground . Her face under the light of the torch was pale, the pair of eyes were now filled with panic .

“Where’s the other two?”

Chen Ah Si’s voice was a little sharp, and along with his small eyes and goatee, he looked even more cruel and dangerous .

The girl shuddered and with a crying voice,

“J-Just now, when we were found at the top of the mountain, we were separated . I really d-don’t know where they are now . I only know one of them was called Ah Ye . She’s thin and had a nice voice . Her skills seem to be good as well…”

“Yes, that’s right . She said her name was Song Ye . ”

Upon hearing that, Grandma w.a.n.g added-in on the side .

“Song Ye…”

Chen Ah Si mumbled as he felt that the description was familiar . When the thought hit him . He remembered the silhouette at the train station, he then shook his head,

“How could it be her…”

His words were soft, as if he was talking to himself; but in the midst of the crowd, an ominous laugh could be heard .

“Hah, how can it not be me?”

“Who’s there?”

The words accompanied by the laughter had caused everyone to look around in fear . Under the dark, night sky, other than the thatch houses, the shadows of the tree leaves swaying could be seen .

Chen Ah Si hurriedly raised the gun in his hands and when he was about to load the gun, a loud bang was heard . Following that, his hands began to feel painful and was unable to hold on to the gun anymore, it dropped onto the ground .

“Arghhh!”

He lowly growled in pain while holding onto his bloodied wrist; his face going pale at the same time .

Amidst the shock of the people, another gunshot could be heard .

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Following that, screams of pain could be heard . The villagers with guns in their hands were shot on their wrist and they were kneeling down, screaming in pain .

In the middle of the chaos, a pair of black boots walked step by step towards Chen Ah Si that was in the middle of the crowd .

Chen Ah Si raised his head while holding in his pain . The face of a boy that entered his eyes was a total stranger to him . So he was unable to figure out the situation .

“Who are you? There’s no grudge between us, so why are you wrecking my territory?”

Song Ye lowered her gaze, the exquisite face under the fire light was cold and heartless . She slowly pointed the barrel of the gun towards Chen Ah Si’s forehead . Curling her mouth and showing a cold curve on her lips,

“Think deeply, did you really forgot about me? The uncle on the train . ”

At the end of the sentence, Chen Ah Si’s eyes widened,

“It’s you!”

“I’m happy that you are able to remember me that quick . ”

Song Ye showed her satisfaction and slowly pulled the trigger on the gun . She bid her last farewell to a face that showed fear .

“Remember this . In this life, I’m the one who killed you . ”

Bang

A gunshot, and along with it was a plea that was not uttered in time . Chen Ah Si had his eyes wide open as he fell onto the pool of blood .

The night wind blew and the smell of the blood spread; the rustic smell made the others feel like vomiting . The villagers that had lived deep within the mountains had never seen someone being killed right in front of their eyes . At that moment, everyone’s face went pale and they knelt on the ground begging .

“Please, please don’t kill me, don’t kill all of us . ”

Grandma w.a.n.g kneeled on the ground looking very pitiful, her body shaking like a fire on a candle under the wind .

But who would’ve thought that such an old woman would be tricking and abducting hundreds of innocent teenage girls; trafficking, torturing, and even starving them to death in the  mountains .

Looking at the old woman that was grabbing onto the leg of her pants, Song Ye kicked the old woman away . Raising the gun in her hands, she let the old woman taste the feeling of death and in front of the fearful eyes of the villagers, the barrel of the gun moved and the shot was aimed towards Da Zhuang that was beside the old woman .

Grandma w.a.n.g turned her head back and rushed towards her son while screaming,

“Ahh! my son!!!”

The reason she did all those evil deeds in her life was all for the sake of her son to have a better life . So, for her, killing Da Zhuang was even more painful than killing her .

But the bullet had perfectly pierced through the spot between his eyebrows . The tragic face of Da Zhuang that had died without having his eyes closed had caused her to go out of control and she screamed at Song Ye heartbreakingly .

“You don’t deserve a peaceful death! Why did you kill my Da Zhuang?! I won’t let you go even if I were to become a ghost!”

Since Song Ye had changed her clothes when they were being interrogated, she currently had short hair, long pants and a pair of boots on . With her lowered voice, she had appeared to be a beautiful teenage boy . Grandma w.a.n.g was of course, unable to recognize that, that was the girl that she had tried to trick .

Song Ye peered into her face that showed hatred and anger . Without a slightest waver in her eyes, she once again pulled the trigger .  Bang, after the gunshot and watching the old body fall heavily onto the ground, she then lightly opened her mouth and said,

“Reincarnation might not necessarily be a good thing for a human like you . ”

If she was not mistaken, although Da Zhuang was around the age of twenty something, he had already caused the torments of few tens of teenage girls . These victimized girls were tricked into the deep mountains and Grandma w.a.n.g had only watched on the side while her son s.e.xually a.s.saulted them . In the end, she had even helped in murdering and hiding the corpses; which truly, was double-faced that couldn’t be judged based on their appearance .

After she was done dealing with the two lives simultaneously, the whole village went silent; it was as silent as a tomb as no one had even dared to breath loudly .

But in it, there was someone who was secretly charging power and was waiting to end the life of this reaper that had appeared suddenly .

When she sensed a different wind current from behind her and a broken gla.s.s bottle being thrusted onto her way, Song Ye immediately turned her body and grabbed onto the wrist of the attacker . When she looked into the round eyes, a similar coldness as hers could be seen in it .

The girl had recognized Song Ye earlier . At the moment that Song Ye had killed Chen Ah Si, she knew that since it was her that had sold them out on top of the mountain, she would not be able to escape death .
