Actually i was feeling a bit down emotionally and physically exhausted but thinking that i haven't updated these 2 days, i thought to do a bit.. But to think that Rotos came out >w< my="" my,="" it="" cleared="" up="" my="" heart~="" rotos="" are="" the="" best="" heals="" right="" now..="" please="" come="" out="">

This is end of subchap 1.

Mattari. The name of this shop.

—Please enjoy and relax here. Since, this is Café Mattari.

Those are the words she said the first time we came here.

That she could protect herself so there is no worry, so please relax in the shop or so.

No wonder she isn't afraid of Demis, seeing how she could defend herself, much else with just using a ward.

"…You, don't you have anything you're afraid of?"

"Eh? Aaaah.. I fear my brother much more than those guys were" While putting down the spirit down on the table, she then let out a bitter smile.

"Hmmm. And you showed them an illusion just now right? What kind?"

"An illusion where countless numbers of knives float mid-air, but it seems it did not work effectively"

Instead, the 3 spirits were scared stiff. And the 3 in line then sat down, with a gloomy expression.

"My apologies for that. As Sensan is a customer here, I did not want to trouble you"

As Rhonya apologized to me, she distributed a marshmallow each to the spirits. Back to their senses after seeing the marshmallows, their eyes s.h.i.+ned brightly and glomped down on them.

"If only they did not bother Sensan, I would have ignored their impudence but…" I was astounded to her words.

"…You're too lenient to your customers"

Rhonya is too tolerant, hence what makes me worried about her.

Letting out a deep sigh, I closed my eyes. The numbness ran throughout my body, and the transformation is completed. Opening my eyelids, my eyes met with Rhonya's blue eyes. I then approached closer to her, and buried my face onto her neck.

"S-Sensan?" Rhonya made a high pitched voice.

"The bad scent is bothering my nose so… Let me frolic a bit"

"Eee, aaa, alright"

Although the incident did not bother me anymore, it's still true that it bothered my nose. Getting the affirmative from Rhonya, I lightheartedly start to rub my face against her.

Looking at a human's skin makes one want to lick it. But if I did lick Rhonya's face right now, I'm sure it would surprise her.

I just want to take my time to rub my face against her.

I open my heart to you, I want to become closer with you, I take a liking to you—just an act to convey such feelings. It feels good, and it makes me feel at ease.

Gradually, the tenseness in Rhonya's body loosened up. Slowly putting her palm on top of my head, the started to kindly pat it.

….I do not know anything about Rhonya.

Where she was born, where she grew up, and why she came to this town.

I… still.. don't know anything of her..

But slowly, and surely, I gradually start to know her. Picking up the hints scattered around, I start to come close to know her character. Carefully, with time, I reveal the mystery of this friend of mine.

Although the mystery goes deeper instead, it's a pleasure to expose it. Realizing it, my tail was already wagging around.

"Nn?"

Feeling that something touched my tail, I looked back. And then, I could see the appearance of the spirits on the counter table holding out their hands reaching for my tail.

As our gazes met, they scattered away immediately. But amidst the panic, they b.u.mped against each other, and fell from the top of the table.

"Oh my, they ran away did they" Rhonya with a snicker. She then went back to the kitchen to brew a new cup of latte.

I then returned to my seat, and indulge in the cup of latte. A tinge of sweetness in it, I savor the thickness of the coffee.

Alas, s.h.i.+ze and the others finally arrived.

Rhonya welcomed them with a smile as always

"Haaahn?! The freakin' mercs yesterday night tried to pick a fight with Tenchou, you say!? Don't mess with me, where're they! I'm gonna beat them all!!" (Chise)

Reporting what happened earlier, Chise then started ranting out whilst his fur all standing up. Ryuse too was making a face that he is not pleased with the situation.

I calmed them with a "It's already over, so sit down now" and stared at them.

I'll talk to them later about how Rhonya drove them away with her magic.

Casually looking to s.h.i.+ze, he was silently staring at Rhonya.

–Someday, I hope that Rhonya will willingly talk about her past to us. As it looked like she's not planning to hide it forever. But, I think it will take time. Some more time before she would open up her heart, and some more time for me to reveal her mysteries.

Either wise, I'm sure the time spent will be pleasurable

Silently letting out a smile, I flipped the sand gla.s.s on the counter.

Ok so.. I just realized I had the cats gender reversed all this while.. *facepalms self.

It happened when I saw the tortie cat making out with a male cat while i let it out for a breather and.. holy moly.. i had them wrong all along… i didn't suspect anything as the black-white patch cat was soooo spoiled… and i called it ‘sister-cat' all this whilee… bfft.. *lifting them up as dumbbells*
