Chapter 27 - Rob the Robber?

"Haha, since I already know you're there, come out!"

Following the voice, a pampered young lord who wore gorgeous clothes walked out from the corner.

He wasn't very tall yet he was quite fat, so fat, in fact, that it made one feel as if he would move faster rolling than walking. His face was too chubby and his eyes seemed as if they were squeezed on his face. He held a red fan in his hands and fanned himself while looking at Shen Molian and Lin Haoxue in astonishment.

Lin Haoxue didn't have any expression on her face and just looked at these thirteen cultivators who had just appeared. They were all at Profound Grand Master realm, and they had come from all around and surrounded Lin Haoxue and Shen Molian.

It was clear that this fat young master was just a spoiled young master, and all the others were just his thugs. It was quite rare that such a spoiled person would show up in such a place in which the weak were prey to the strong like Demon Execution town.

These thugs didn't look weak at all, they all seemed to have an exceptional background.

"Who are you guys?" Shen Molian looked at them coldly and fiercely spoke.

Lin Haoxue didn't say anything but merely stood back to back behind Shen Molian while facing off against those thugs surrounding them.

They had only just come out from the auction house, yet they had already known that they were being followed. However, they thought this was reasonable since the amount of demon cores they displayed in the auction house was enough to arouse those mercenaries' greedy thoughts. Therefore, they thought was some of those mercenaries who had followed them, but now it didn't seem like that was the case.

"Listen, this is the second prince of the City Lord of Demon Execution town." Under the indication of the spoiled young master, a skinny guy behind him talked fiercely," Quickly, hand over your demon cores and follow us."

The spoiled young master nodded his head since he seemed to be very satisfied with what his thug had said. As for him, his slimy tiny eyes had never stopped looking at Lin Haoxue and Shen Molian. Especially Shen Molian, there was an extremely disgusting lewdness in his look toward her.

"And why would we listen to you?" Lin Haoxue looked at the fatty and asked. Compared to Shen Molian, even though Lin Haoxue was beautiful as well, she was merely twelve years old; therefore, she still looked childish. When she asked this question, her tone was light and cute, and the expression on her face was naive as if she were really curious.

This behavior immediately caught everyone's attention and they looked at that this fat young master with a trace of hatred. However, when they thought of his family background, they didn't dare to say anything to him.

"Isn't it clear enough little girl?" The fat young master said puzzled by Lin Haoxue's naive and cute look, therefore he patiently explained to her.

"The weak are prey to the strong. That's how this world works. Those who have a strong fist get the right to speak. We are stronger than you, so of course, you guys have to listen to us."

"Oh, I see." Lin Haoxue naively said and then asked, "Are you guys really powerful?"

"Of course we are, all of us are at the Profound Grand Master realm. You guys wouldn't be able to beat us."

"We can't beat you guys?" Lin Haoxue asked in a low voice while laughing quietly. When she raised her head again, she spoke loudly, "My sister doesn't agree with you!"

She saw Shen Molian look at that fat young master with eyes full of hatred, then she already knew that he wouldn't be left unscathed. These reckless people, even though they were at the Profound Grand Master realm, what about it? Both of them came out from the Demon Beast Forest which had danger all around, and all those Profound Grand Masters' strength who were present wasn't any worse than these thugs in front of them.

Before the fat young master could say anything, he saw Shen Molian had already left her spot and was in front of him with her fist heading towards his face. As her fist connected with his fat face, the spoiled young master moaned in pain.

"Impudent! Let go of him!" A middle-aged man in grey clothes yelled fiercely, and he wanted to rush up and save the young master. However, before he was able to gather his profound power, he was punched fiercely on the left side of his face. He fell to the ground with a bang as his face swelled up.

Seeing that Shen Molian had started, Lin Haoxue didn't just stay put and watch. She set her sights on all those Profound Grand Masters, and of course, she didn't hold back either. She used her small fists and beat all the Profound Grand Masters senseless. What a pity that these grand masters didn't get a chance to use their profound power as, by the time they reacted, they were already beaten up.

"Alright, let's go." Shen Molian kicked him again as she was leaving while glaring at him. Then she waved her hands calling Lin Haoxue to leave with her.

"Wait" Lin Haoxue stepped on all the people on the ground looking for something. Seeing as she didn't find anything, she frowned then she walked over to the fat young master. She went through his outer robe and finally found a jade pendant hanging on his waist.

She had her own storage spirit tool, so naturally recognized that this was his storage spirit tool.

Lin Haoxue waved her fists in the air and was about to punch the fat young master to the ground again.

"Don't ...Don't do it. I'll just give it to you, here."

That fat young master looked as if he would cry and then he removed his willforce which was bound to the jade pendant. High-quality spirit tools could recognize their master by using their blood. After accepting their master, n.o.body could use it unless the master died, or they voluntarily transferred their spirit tool to another. Now, the fat young master voluntary transferred the storage spirit tool to Lin Haoxue.

There was nothing else he could do. Even though he didn't want to let go of his prized storage spirit tool and all the things he held inside it, he cared more about his life.

"Thanks." After getting the storage spirit tool, Lin Haoxue smiled in satisfaction. She crouched down to look at the fat young master and asked him, " Do you think my sister is beautiful?"

"No.. No..." Seeing Lin Haoxue's sweet smile, the fat young master felt painful as he didn't know how to answer. He didn't dare to think this girl in front of him is as sweet anymore.

"Oh, so you're saying my sister isn't beautiful?" Lin Haoxue turned unhappy all of a sudden and her voice became fierce as well.

"Shut up!" Who knew how many times this fat young master had said that he didn't dare, so Lin Haoxue made him shut up from his constant, useless talking. Then she smiled again and said, "It seems like you guys wanted to rob us, huh. Well, it's a pity that you guys weren't strong enough to do so!"

Shen Molian just stood next to her and watched her be a little devil. After she was satisfied with teasing him, Lin Haoxue stood up and stepped on those people one more time. Shen Molian then stood up as well, kicked everyone again for good measure, then took the fat young master's storage spirit tool and left with Lin Haoxue.

Concerning their act of robbery, Lin Haoxue and Shen Molian didn't care much about it. After all, these kind of incidents were just everyday occurrences.

Then they walked toward the Mercenary Labor Union which was in front of them.

The Mercenary Labor Union was ma.s.sive and it was divided into east and west, two sides. On the east side, there were ten people receiving those who came to apply for the mercenary test. On the west side, there were ten people as well, but they receive those mercenaries that came to take missions.

There were many cultivators in the lobby and the number of people even exceeded those present previously in the auction house. However, the lobby was quite wide therefore, it made it look as if it weren't crowded.
