Praying For Fate Chapter 9 Part1

When Qin Su returned to the orphanage, he got the nickname “Qing Su.” This was given by Siva. There is actually an interesting story to this.

T/N,  秦肅 p.r.o.nounced Qin Su sounds similar to 情愫 p.r.o.nounced as Qing Su, which means sincerity, sentiment.

[FLASHBACK]

Siva returned full of "misery" this time. During his time in Europe, he was terribly exhausted by a debuted arrogant model that kept ordering him around for every little thing; completely disrespecting him as a manager and treating him as though he was a nanny.

Siva called the company furiously requesting to be changed out as his manager. Who would have guessed that this brat is probably a relative of a boss, so the executives didn't agree to the move. They insisted that he is the company's best manager so this mission must be given to him and he must continue to stay with this brat.

Siva's temper is not one that can easily be provoked. He originally stayed because he was giving face to the company. But a few days later, he got into another heated argument with the kid, prompting him to angrily resign. So he packed his bags and came back.

As soon as he returned, he went immediately to look for BeiTang MinQian but it was Qin Su who opened the door.

When Qin Su opened the door and saw him, he slammed the door shut.

What the h.e.l.l was that? When did the apartment change owner? Why didn't he even ask and just slammed the door?

Siva dumbfoundedly stood outside and called Su YuanHeng on his cell phone.

Inside, Qin Su shouted toward Su YuanHeng, “Su Ge, there is a strange person outside. Should we call the police?”

Su YuanHeng was on the computer organizing some files in the bedroom when he heard him. Before he could respond, his cellphone rang. Picking up, Siva instantly asked, "Dr. Su, did you guys move? Why didn't anyone tell me?”

“No. We still live here," Su YuanHeng responded strangely.

“Huh? Did I go on the wrong floor? Wait, let me check…it should be right, Block T2, Apartment 1802. It's your house. Who was it that just opened the door?”

At this time, Qin Su ran into the master bedroom to tells Su YuanHeng, “Su Ge, the weirdo is still outside. What should we do?"

“Let me check." Su YuanHeng ran to the door with his cellphone and opened the door, just in time to see Siva looking closely at his house number.

“Siva, please come in.”

“Oooh, Dr. Su. Didn't I say I wasn't mistaken?” Siva mumbled as he hung up the phone and went into the house. Seeing Qin Su on the side, he knocked on his forehead and uttered, “Hey brat, who is the weirdo you were talking about earlier?”

“Huh? I … I didn't say……” How did he know? Qin Su got scared and awkwardly stuttered.

“Humph! I heard everything from my cellphone. Your voice was quite loud.”

Qin Su embarra.s.singly blushed as he scratched his head, “I, I didn't think that you are Su Ge's friend……”

Siva swiped his trendy hairstyle and snorted again. It's obviously that the teenager is a b.u.mpkin (unsophisticated person).

“Siva, long time no see, please have a sit.”

“Long time no see. Dr. Su, how come you got so fat? Did you drink too much beer and put on some weight?"

Siva's observation skills are much more acute than Qin Su. Especially as a manager, having to keep an eye on the weight change of a model is essential homework. So when he first saw Su YuanHeng, he was shocked.

Su YuanHeng was a bit embarra.s.sed. There is heating in the room so he didn't wear a lot of clothing but his clothes are very loose. His belly can still be concealed from those he's not too close with, for instance Qin Su never noticed.

But it is different with Siva. Their relations.h.i.+p is different. Although Su YuanHeng had known him for many years, it is limited to him being BeiTang MinQian's manager. The relations.h.i.+p between Siva and BeiTang MinQian is much closer. The two can be described as inseparable when it came to work. Regardless of public or private matters, with the exception of his family matters, Siva knew everything about BeiTang MinQian.

“What are you talking about gaining weight? Su Ge is so skinny. He should put on some weight."

Su YuanHeng didn't know how to respond, but fortunately, Qin Su unhappily jumped in to interject, relieving him of having to answer.

“Dr. Su, who is he?” Siva had only just now looked directly at the boy.

“He is my little brother, Qin Su.” Su YuanHeng naturally introduced.

Qin Su's heart suddenly felt hot.

Little Brother!

Not cousin nor distant relative but intimately “little brother.” They are brothers from the orphanage.

At that moment, Qin Su's eyes turned a little red. For the first time, he really felt Su YuanHeng's warmly feelings to him, the orphanage, and to Mother Dean. But before he felt touched, he was stunned by Siva's next sentence.

“Huh? Qingsu(T/N)? Then I'm 'An Sheng' (your crush). That name is so strange.”

T/N,  秦肅 p.r.o.nounced qin su sounds similar to 情愫 p.r.o.nounced as Qing Su, which means feelings, sincerity, sentiments.  暗生 p.r.o.nounced "an sheng" means darkness or dark life. However, when the four characters put together (情愫暗生), it means unrequited love. What Siva is saying is that Qin Su has a crush on him.

“What's wrong with your ears? It's Qin Su! The "Qin" from "Qin" dynasty and the "Su" from yin "su" (serious)!” Qin Su stomped his feet in anger.

Siva's Chinese is not very good. Seeing QinSu's sudden little tantrum, he felt a bit funny. When he seriously pondered over it, he came to suddenly realize, “Ah, so it's two words. Ha ha ha, sorry, I was just joking. Why are you so tensed for?" After saying that, he stretched out his hand to patted QinSu's head, "Little kid, don't be so angry."

“You─” Qin Su was so livid his face turned red.

He didn't know why he was so angry. In fact, his name can be ambiguous. But it's just that Siva's frivolous att.i.tude enraged him.

Siva stopped looking at him and said to Su YuanHeng, “Werner has returned home right? How is he now?”

“He's at the company and should be back soon. How about you wait for a little while?”

"The company?"

Siva was a little surprised. He hasn't been able to get in touch with BeiTang MinQian. This time he resigned and came back to find Su YuanHeng. Of course, his purpose is to inquire on news regarding BeiTang MinQian. In all honestly, he was a bit nervous before he came. He didn't' know whether the two had broken up or if they had reconciled. But, it appears that they are still together so that's good.

Siva liked Su YuanHeng a lot. When he became BeiTang MinQian's manager, the two men were already together so he really wasn't in any position to speak.

Gay artists are common in the entertainment circle. As long as it doesn't affect their work, the managers generally won't interfere. Especially artists such as Werner, who has the talent and potential with an arrogance aura, no one can control him. Siva would often cover-up for them.

Su YuanHeng and Siva went into the living room to chat. But, Qin Su didn't like Siva so he angrily stormed back to his room.
