On the way back, Yan YuHeng was very cooperative. It almost seems as if he had no reaction. Tell him to walk, he'll walk; tell him to sit, he'll sit. He did lash out when his pain flared up and BeiTang MinQian had to hold him down so that Su YuanHeng could give him a shot. But besides that, everything went smoothly.

BeiTang MinQian went to the backyard he saw Yan YuHeng sitting in a wheelchair, his lap covered with a thick blanket and Su YuanHeng sitting beside him, carefully scooping applesauce with a spoon, feeding him little by little.

BeiTang MinQian walked over and sat down beside Su YuanHeng, whispered, “How is father today?”

Su YuanHeng didn't know when BeiTang MinQian started to follow him in calling Yan YuHeng "father." He was a little surprised at first but didn't question him because he was afraid that BeiTang MinQian would say something like “your father is my father.”

"I'm fine."

BeiTang MinQian put his hand on his belly, looked down and very carefully feel it.

Suddenly Yan YuHeng moved. He slowly turned around and looked at them.

“Father, what do you want?” Su YuanHeng was unlike BeiTang MinQian, who was fully concentrated on the baby. When he noticed his father's actions, he quickly asked.

Yan YuHeng stared blankly at his belly, suddenly whispered, “Baby……you have a baby……”

Su YuanHeng's expression changed a little and responded, “Yes, Father. I have a baby.”

Yan YuHeng looked up at him and then looked down at his belly, looking like he's pondering over something as he slowly muttered, “I also have a baby……my baby……XiaoLi……my son is called XiaoLi."

Huge waves thrashed in Su YuanHeng's heart. He tried hard to suppress his excitement but said calmly, “Yeah, Father, I'm XiaoLi. I am your son, XiaoLi.”

Yan YuHeng looked at him again but didn't seem to comprehend what he was saying. He looked down at his own belly and touched it, but it's flat. Then, he looked at Su YuanHeng's protruding belly and tilted his head, deep in thoughts.

"Father……"

Su YuanHeng looked at him anxiously and expectantly, but Yan YuHeng only muttered blankly, “Where are you, Xiao Li? Where did my son go?”

“Father, I am here!” Su YuanHeng knelt beside him, holding his hand.

Yan YuHeng gazed past him to a faraway, unknown place. Suddenly, it felt as if he awakened as he sorrowfully uttered, "I left him……I abandoned my own son……"

“Father!” Su YuanHeng is shocked; finally he couldn't help but painfully burst into tears.

BeiTang MinQian looked at them silently on the side. Nurse Chen appeared out of nowhere from behind BeiTang MinQian and whispered, “Some mental patients will suddenly awake but the memory is chaotic. For him…I'm afraid this is the momentary recovery of his consciousness before death."

His voice is very low; obviously he didn't want Su YuanHeng to hear.

BeiTang MinQian led him some distance away and asked, “Do you think it would be possible for him to fully recover his consciousness before death?”

Nurse Chen shook his head, “I can't say. This situation varies from person to person, but I think that there is great possibility. After all, Mr. Su is by his side.”
