Shen Chuchu was shocked to hear these words . She did not expect there would be someone else in the room and sniffled her nose then quickly turned her body .  

A beautiful man sat on the sofa with a frown . His cheeks were slightly red and looked slightly impatient . Occasionally, he used his hand to knead his brows . Even with an annoyed expression, he was very good-looking .

“Who…who are you, why are you here?” Shen Chuchu was somewhat scared and asked in a rough voice .

Han Xingyan’s hands paused for a while when he heard these words . He looked at her with an unbelievable expression, she actually forgot him? Even though she was so enthusiastic last night…

As for last night, Shen Chuchu did not have a single trace of memory of it . She seemed to vaguely remember being pulled out of the room by Executive Chen then they met a person in the corridor but that person did not save her . After that, she could not remember anything . She seemed to have entered the elevator, got carried by someone then got soaked by the heavy rain outside…

Wait a minute . Shen Chuchu turned to face him, this person seemed like the man she had seen in the corridor .

“What else do you remember?” Han Xingyan asked with a sigh .

Could she say the last image in her head was seeing him leave? But it was obvious that he ended up saving her . At this time, Shen Chuchu’s head was very confused and slightly dizzy .

“You saved me, right?” Shen Chuchu asked inquisitively .

Han Xingyan felt his head was a bit murky today and thought hard for a while before replying, “Yes . When you were about to leave in the elevator with Executive Chen, I saved you . ”

“So you did save me and not just left me . ” Shen Chuchu finally said and felt the reason she did that was due to her mind not listening to her . She should have been thankful and not be looking into the issue instead .

“Then why did you save me and not just left me? What happened after?”

Han Xingyan tightly pinched the s.p.a.ce between his eyebrows and looked at the flushed face . It was clear that Shen Chuchu’s mind was not very clear . He replied, “Shen Chuchu, is your mind clear right now? Do you understand what I am saying right now?” 

Shen Chuchu was stunned for a while then nodded her head, “Naturally I can . There may be still some residue of the drug left in my head but my awareness is clear . ”

Han Xingyan heard these words and initially did not correct Shen Chuchu but explained, “Okay, I will tell you the things I saw last night . I saw you being held by Executive Chen when I came out of the elevator…afterwards I entered the elevator and brought you here…then-” 

He thought about the things that occurred after and pursed his lips . In the end, he subconsciously kept it concealed .  

“After I saw that you had been drugged, I took you to the bathroom and sprayed you with cold water . Once you calmed down, I found a female attendant to change your clothes . That’s all . ”

Shen Chuchu felt Han Xingyan was hiding something from her but she no longer cared about it now . She felt that life was still very beautiful as long as that horrid Executive Chen had not ruined her . At this moment, her head felt very dizzy but she still really wanted to thank the person in front of her right now .

A smile appeared on her face and she looked at Han Xingyan, “Thank you . ”

When Han Xingyan saw her smile, his mood got better and his head was no longer as dizzy .

“You’re welcome . ” Although his mood had turned better, Han Xingyan still had a somewhat dazed expression when he coa.r.s.ely said, “But it should not be the residue of the drug . It should be a fever . Sorry, I sprayed cold water on you for too long . ”

Han Xingyan firmly replied, “No . ”

Shen Chuchu replied somewhat disappointedly,” Okay, if you don’t want to . By the way, I think I really do have a fever . I think you also have a fever . Secretary w.a.n.g and the doctor arrived very quickly . Shen Chuchu had a fever of 39 . 5 ℃ while Han Xingyan’s was 39 . 7 ℃ . As a result, an IV was needed even if they did not want it .

The doctor had already prepared two sets of medicine and muttered as he unpacked, “Why not just burn the thermometer as well . ”

Once the IV was attached, Shen Chuchu fell asleep again . Han Xingyan originally wanted Secretary w.a.n.g to handle some things but he also fell asleep after a few sentences . Secretary w.a.n.g considerately called the front desk immediately to get a never been used quilt sent up .

Just like so, Secretary w.a.n.g and the doctor’s a.s.sistant exchanged glances at each other . Even though everyone was curious about what exactly happened between them last night but n.o.body dared to ask .

Very quickly the first solution bag was finished and the a.s.sistant promptly replaced it with a new solution bag . Once the third bag was finished, the a.s.sistant sighed a breath of relief and took out the needle from both of them .

Around noon, Han Xingyan finally woke up . He whispered a few words to Secretary w.a.n.g and as a result, Shen Chuchu also opened her eyes . It was unclear whether she was already awake or got woken up by them .

Her first words were, “I am also hungry . I want to eat hotpot . Bring me a portion and I will give you the money later . Don’t worry, I have money . ”

Han Xingyan and Secretary w.a.n.g both looked at her at the same time .

Han Xingyan frowned and disapprovingly said, “It’s not appropriate for people who just had a fever to eat hotpot . It’s best to eat foods that are quite light* . ”

Shen Chuchu firmly replied, “No, I want to eat hotpot . I really want to eat it . ”

Han Xingyan kneaded the s.p.a.ce between his eyebrows and wanted to advise against it . However, he remembered Shen Chuchu’s bitter experience and grudgingly sighed . He said to Secretary w.a.n.g, “Let’s eat hotpot . ”

Secretary w.a.n.g replied in surprise, “…you will also eat?”

Han Xingyan nodded his head, “Yes . ”

“…oh, okay . I will go and order it . ”

The speed of the order was indeed very quick for the wealthy . Within half an hour, the hotpot was already set up in the dining room, right when Shen Chuchu had just finished freshening herself up .

“…yes, it was me . I apologise for that day . ” Han Xingyan said apologetically .

“No need . I was only asking . I was also at fault and should not have risked for those few seconds . I will return the ten thousand to you later . ”

Han Xingyan expressionlessly replied, “…no need to return it . ”

Shen Chuchu willingly accepted, “Oh, okay . ”

Things should not be attempted more than three times . She had already raised it three times and since the other party did not want it then she would forget it .

Han Xingyan did not expect Shen Chuchu would be so ready to accept that he was not used to it . He saw that Shen Chuchu no longer wanted to speak so remembering the events of last night, he could not help but ask, “How will you handle this?”
