Chapter 6, Inevitable confrontation

Su Bai had been to City before. He had heard a little about MingXuan, the top luxury western restaurant in City row. “Mr. Su, I didn't expect you to come to MingXuan for dinner. Is this your friend?” A pair of s.h.i.+ny branded leather shoes stood steadily beside the table. From the shoes to the watch, everything on the person's body was a luxury that ordinary people could hardly afford. However, the man's slightly arrogant face looked very much like a Chihuahua in Su Bai's eyes.

Although there was a smile, the hazel pupils were cold enough to give frostbites.

Liu Yunsheng felt a chill in the bottom of his heart and his arm felt like it was about to break off. He bit his teeth and but had no strength or courage to say another word. At last, when he was released by Ye Ziwu, he desperately fled in anger and helplessness even before Su Bai could take another glance.

After such a disturbance, Su Bai's red wine was finished and his appet.i.te was lost. Ye Ziwu said nothing more, pulling his head in silence. Only when Su Bai said that next time he will let Ye Ziwu make up for the meal, did Ye Ziwu began to smile and laugh again.

The two were ready to go back, and Su Bai walked a few steps before feeling Ye Ziwu suddenly staring at a place in the dining room. Su Ye looked with askance along Ye Ziwu's line of sight. In one of the darkest corners of MingXuan, a man at a table was leaning over with a sparkling cigar between his forefinger and middle finger. He was lazy, seemed handsome and dangerous, like a prowling black panther.

With a slight squint, Su took back his sight but did not have enough time to look ahead, and accidentally b.u.mped into a man that was coming in front of him.
