The Universe Conspired For Us To Meet 91 I Love You Virat!

Sanvi was confused on what Virat was telling. But she didn't probe further since he'd already told her that he wouldn't be revealing anything of her past. She continued to hug him.

"The next day, I went in search of her, took her to a  beachside restaurant where I'd arranged our first date."

Sanvi felt a pang of jealousy. But she obviously didn't show it out. She stayed calm and listened to him.

"I'd already decided to use my two best honey traps of: head over heels in love with her and sympathy for her."

"Likewise, I executed my plan. I spoke to her with all the sugary words. 'No Maya. That was just one dark phase of your life. My love for you will make sure you'll bury that past life of yours forever. I will give you all the happiness of the world Maya.' I took her hand."

"But she immediately withdrew her hand away and spoke. 'Virat, even if I do agree to love you, I've to remind you that incident has left an unforgettable scar in my life. I don't think I can even hold your hands or kiss you Virat, let alone having-' She couldn't complete her sentence." She hung her head low.

"I balled my fists and tried to remain calm since I'd to take her into confidence. I then told her, 'Maya, I wouldn't mind even if I can't lay a finger on you. Let's remain this way.' But inwardly, I smirked and thought, 'I'll make sure you'll crave for me, you'll throw yourself at me and not the other way round Miss Maya.' I still had those innocent eyes."

"On hearing my words, I could see Maya's blush creep up her face. She was turning crimson just like the colour of the setting sun we could see along the beach. She lowered her head and said, 'I love you Virat!' after which she began walking away blus.h.i.+ng all the way."

"I finally threw my fist in the air, 'Yippie! I won!' Since I knew she'd definitely fall for my trap, I'd asked my friends to come over and watch how she herself would confess to me!

My friends were all flabbergasted!"

'What? Seriously? This girl slapped me when I proposed to her,' said one.

'She carelessly threw away the flowers I gave her on my face,' said the other.

"That's because I'm Virat!" I put on my goggles and we partied all night.

Created this best boyfriend image by making everything special for her, to an extent that every other girl would envy her. I took note of every small thing she likes and for the simple sweet girl she is, it was not hard to please her at all. She would get carried away by my simple gestures. She was very easy on maintenance as a girlfriend. So, even I went on with my act."

Sanvi was at a loss of words. 'I should be hating you for what you did to a girl and she being my best friend I should hate you all the more. But why am I not able to hate you Virat? Instead I'm falling in love with you even more. Why are you confessing all this to me?' She could only complain inwardly as her voice failed her.

She realised that her eyes were already wet. She was actually weeping all this while. The wetness around Virat's s.h.i.+rt was a proof to it.

With great strength Sanvi pushed him away and released herself from his hug.
