Song Tian's Farm And His Daily Life 7 Chicken Or Egg?

Evening, Song Tian just arrived at home. On the road before, he's so excited when he drives his new car. But he remembered that his parent taking his grandma to see her sister, so he goes to restaurant on the way back to buy the dinner for his sisters.

Song Tian saw Song Xia on the living room playing games on console and putting the food on the dining table "Xiao Xia, i bought you dinner. Mom and dad is going to be late, they're going to grandpa house".

Song Xia then stopped playing the games and said in her headset "You guys continue gather the woods and fibers. Keep an eye for my taming, don't let the taming efficiency dropped below 97% or we can't raid the alpha tribe on this server".

Song Xia then said to her brother "They're going to grandpa house? Why there's not taking me along? I miss grandpa and grandma".

Song Tian smiled and said "It's something urgent, i'll tell you once Sister Xue came home. What server are you going to raid today? Is it cross-platform server?".

Song Xia said "Yes, it's on server 137. Brother, hurry up bring your tribes so we can raid together. The alpha tribe on this server blocked the metal resources and won't let the newcomer near it. They even place the turrets and set their tames on aggressive, wandering around the area".

The conversation continues, Song Xue just got home and they had their dinner.

Song Xia then asked "So, what urgent thing you're talking about earlier brother?".

Song Xue also curious about this. Song Tian explained to them about grandma's litte sister, Gao Zhao and so on.

After that, Song Tian goes to his bedroom and logged in to VoIP software to write announcement on his tribe room.

"PREPARE YOURSELF, WE'RE GOING TO RAID ALPHA TRIBE ON SERVER-137 TO HELP MY LITTLE SISTER IN NEXT 20 MINUTES. BRING YOUR HIGHEST GRADE GEARS AND MAX LEVEL MONSTER AND DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE YOUR USERNAME TO 123".

All of his tribe members already knew the usual stuff and immediately change their username to 123 since it is to prevent them from being tracked online by enemies on this cross-servers game.

Not long he posted the announcement, all of his tribe members log in and going to voice channel immediately. Song Tian then call Song Xia to come to his tribe voice chat channel.

As the time goes on, Song Tian and his little sister successfully raid the alpha tribe on server 137. He bids farewell to his tribe members.

He notices that his parent already came back and he goes to sleep.

In the morning after Song Tian finish his breakfast, he asked his dad "How is the grandma dad?".

Song Chen said "Your grandma really miss her little sister and ask her to move to her house but Aunty Zhao refuses. Aunty Zhao decided to stay over there till your grandma calmed down".

Song Tian said "She must really miss her little sister so much" After that, the phone rang and messages from w.a.n.g Hai which said that the gazebo already finished.

After that, he goes to living room and Zhu Mei said "Xiao Tian, mom will come in afternoon with my worker to make over your cabins".

Song Tian said "Alright, just don't overdoing it mom. Just simple decoration will do".

"Since the chicken coop is ready, i need to buy some and it's food too" Song Tian though in his mind.

Song Tian already saw the chicken coop, he's purposely build it not too big because he's still beginner and wants to learn it step by step.

After a moment later, he goes to garage to take his car and drive to poultry in the downtown.

Arrived at the stores, he immediately asked the staff for beginner related to the chicken.

After several minutes explaining, Song Tian looking around the area.

There's a lot of chicken with different types. From Silkie chicken to White Faced Black Spanish chicken.

Pondering for a moment, Song Tian decided that he will buy five roosters and five hens. He buys the Leghorn chickens and also buy a lot chicken feeds.

Song Tian remembered at what Song Yi said when his dad mastering the true way of the hoe and asked "Xiao Yi, is there any chicken related quest?".

"Bingo! There's quest related to it and since you already level 2, you can takes additional quest now. Master. would you like me to show you list of additional quest?" Song Yi said.

Song Tian eyes lit up and said "Wait for us to arrive at the farm first, i don't want to die yet" while driving his car.

Arrived at his farm, Song Tian put the chickens on the chicken coop and put the feeds on their container,

Song Tian starting to water the planted soil. After that, he took a look at newly made gazebo near the river. He's really satisfied with Fatty w.a.n.g's work.

Making sure the plant he grows is in healthy condition, Song Tian then asked Song Yi "Xiao Yi, show me the additional quest".

Quest scroll appeared in front of him, there's list of additional quest he can takes.

"Side Quest 1 : Chicken or Egg?"

- Quest Description : This question had been there since the ancient times. But this time is different. Will you choose to sacrifice the chicken for it's meat or choose to taking care of it for the eggs?".

-Quest Requirement : Chicken Meats x5 or Chicken Eggs x5".

-Quest Rewards : Chicken Stats, Converting The Chicken Coop To Become One With The System According To The Quest Taken and additional stuff".

"(Click This For Meat Quest) or (Click This For Egg Quest)".

"PS : Master, choose wisely. Once you takes one, you can't take another Chicken or Egg quest again".

There's also a lot of quest below "Hmm, if i were to take the meat quest that means i will become the butcher huh. If i take the egg quest, i can produce a lots of egg and i can grow chicken from that" He though in his mind.

Song Tian immediately click the Egg Quest b.u.t.ton and the quest requirement changed to Chicken Eggs 0/5.

Song Tian also scrolling the scroll to see any additional quest which easy to do to fill his free times.

There's one quest which is easy enough and it piqued his interest.

"Side Quest 6 : Fence For Protection"

"Quest Description : While there's pest such as rat, master also need to prevent some bigger animals to harm the planted crops".

"Quest Requirement : Make a hand made wooden fences around the empty plots.

"Quest Rewards : Any chosen land master decides to be surrounded by fences will be protected soil (From Bigger Animals Only) and additional rewards".

Song Tian though "Hmm, if i put the fences only around cropped plant, the protected area will be small. Let's just build it on the edge of the lands i own".

Song Yi laughed "Wow, master already find the loophole in it. Nice idea master".

Song Tian said "Of course, now i have to think twice after my dad mastered the true way of the hoe".

"Oh, is it okay if i buy the processed lumber? I don't have to look for the timber in the forest right?" Song Tian asked.

Song Yi answered "Of course, why would you bother to look for the timber in the forest. Moreover, master also needs to process it which is really time consuming".

Song Tian laughed and said "Such convenient, alright. I will call Fatty w.a.n.g to order the oak lumber".

Song Tian laughed "Of course not, i just want to try it. I've been looking DIY channels a lot lately, so my hands are itching to do some action too".

w.a.n.g Hai said "And here i was excited to though you're going to be a carpenter for my company. Alright, how much the height you want? I will ask my worker to cut them for you".

Song Tian pondered for a moment and said "Around 140cm will do. I need a lot of it, i need to build it on all around the edge of my lands".

w.a.n.g Hai shocked after hearing that, he though his brother just gonna make a fence for smaller area. He said "Alright, i need to bring my worker first to calculate how much lumber you need to build all of that".

Not long after that, w.a.n.g Hai arrived with his worker. He stepped out of the car and greet Song Tian.

After briefing done on the cabin, Song Tian, w.a.n.g Hai and his worker goes out to survey the area.

w.a.n.g Hai's worker already letting out the measurement tools and after almost for an hour they're back from surveying the area. w.a.n.g Hai's worker handed the note to w.a.n.g Hai.

After looking at the note, w.a.n.g Hai said "Brother, here's the detail". He told Song Tian about the total distance for each fence post and total lumber he needed.

w.a.n.g Hai continued "I also going to warn you that the wooden fence post can't last forever since it will rot inside the ground overtimes. Brother, are you sure you won't use the metal fence post? I'm going to provide it for you free".

Song Tian said "Don't worry about that. It is also within my calculation that the fence post will rot overtimes" he obviously didn't know what he's talking about.

Song Tian ignored the worker 1 and took his phone to order the food for all the workers.

After finished ordering Song Tian looked at Worker 1 and said "The foods will come shortly, i already pay them all. If i see all of you not eating the foods... hehe".

Worker 1 smiled bitterly, the Madam's Son is really nice to them.

"I will go to chicken coop to look around, you guys continue your work" Song Tian said as he walked to the chicken coop.

Song Tian looked at the chicken and according to his favorite farming games, there's one way to make chicken stats higher.

Song Tian tries to pick them up and gently drop them to see if the chickens is liking it.

But the chicken startled and pecking Song Tian fiercely.

Song Yi laughing and said "Master, i didn't think you would try to do that hahaha".

Song Tian smiled bitterly, he though he could do the same on this world since he has the system now.

Several moments later, Zhu Mei arrived to supervise her worker.

Song Tian just came out from the chicken coop and saw his mom already arrived.

Song Tian said "Mom, Fatty w.a.n.g and his worker will come later. So don't mind me, i'm going to install the fence for this land".

Zhu Mei surprised to heard what her son said and asked "Install the fence? By yourself? Why don't you just pay the worker to do it for you?".

Song Tian already expected such question from his mom and he said "I'm doing something beneficial to this farm mom and i have to try it for myself. It's also some way of training for me hehe" He didn't want to lie too much to his own mom so he said something vague to her.

Zhu Mei shook her head "Fine, do your own think. I heard you already bought chicken, take me to them" She said excitedly.

Song Tian takes her mom to the chicken coop and explaining to her what kind of chiken they are and stuff.

Not long after, w.a.n.g Hai arrived with his workers bringing the lumber Song Tian needs to install his fence. He also bring any kinds of power tools for his brother.

"Brother, the lumbers have arrived" He yelled since he can't see where is Song Tian.

Song Tian heard Fatty w.a.n.g's voice and he goes outside from chicken cop, but his mother stays in chicken coop. Apparently, his mother really loves the chicken he bought.

w.a.n.g Hai said "Brother, i brought the power tools for you to a.s.sist you on installing the fences".

Song Tian smiled "Thank you, you don't have to do this you know" He feels blessed to have such brother on his side.

w.a.n.g Hai laughed "I'm going to bring it anyway, what can you do. I will put the lumbers near the entrance. Remember to install the post on 3 meter interval".

Song Tian laughed "Sure. Also, my mom's workers already makeover the living room. There's also foods i ordered for you".

w.a.n.g Hai eyes lit up when he heard foods and immediately goes straight to the cabin.

Song Tian shook his head and he started to look at the lumber he got.

There's a lot of processed lumbers with exact same of length. He took one two of them first to install the post on the entrance area.

After calculating the entrance area, he start digging with the tools w.a.n.g Hai bring him. He learned how to install the fence from video tutorial he saw on Sphere.

He looked at the plastic bag with liquid on it, w.a.n.g Hai said that it's some kind of best quality foam. He put the post on the hole he dig.

"From the video i saw earlier, i just have to pour it in circle round the post" He cut the liquid plastic with scissor and pouring them around the post carefully without touching the post.

He looked at the liquid he just poured and it's starting to expand like inflated balloon. In the plastic said it only needs 1 hour for it to be cured. So he started to install another entrance post.

Zhu Mei already goes outside after playing with leghorn chickens for so long. She found them very cute. "I didn't think it would be very interesting to look at the chickens" She though.

Zhu Mei saw w.a.n.g Hai in the cabin and w.a.n.g Hai immediately greet Zhu Mei.

Zhu Mei said "Xiao Hai, where's Xiao Tian?".

w.a.n.g Hai answered "He's installing the fence right now. Aunty Mei, you need to see it. I offered him to install it but he doesn't want it".

Zhu Mei shook her head "Just let him be, you already know him and he's not going to stop once he's doing something he want".

Zhu Mei then goes outside to bring her son some water.

She could see her son installing the fence post "Xiao Tian, drink some water" she handed out the big bottle of waters.

Song Tian wiping of sweat on his forehead "Phew, thanks mom" He immediately drink the waters.

Zhu Mei said "It's already 3PM, don't rush your work and stop if the days already dark".

Song Tian laughed "I know mom, don't worry" he said to rea.s.sured his mom.

As the time goes, the day is already dark. w.a.n.g Hai and Zhu Mei already left.

Song Tian already done with installing the fence on the front side and right side. All left is to install near the river area and the left side of it.

He goes to his cabin and after he's finished cleaning himself, he drives his way to his home.

Arrived at home past dinner times, he walked to the living room to hang out with his family.

Song Tian looked at his dad who's on the couch and said "Dad, tomorrow i'm preparing to move out to the cabin. I'm almost done with installing the fences".

Song Chen already knew about his son installing fence by himself from his wife and said "So fast?" Song Chen sighed as he already knew that someday his son will be on his own.

Zhu Mei looked at her son and said "Xiao Tian, why don't you just stay here? How are you going to eat your breakfast? What if you got sick?" Zhu Mei really worried and reluctant to see her own son to move out.

Song Tian smiled bitterly "Don't worry about that. Mom, Dad.. You know i need to go on my own someday right? I can't always rely on both of you and it's not like i'm not coming back anymore since it's only about 40 minutes drive from here".

His sisters also said similar thing. After rea.s.suring them, Song Tian goes to his bedroom to pack his stuff.
