Soon the wounds started to heal up and Ariana slumped to ground . Giving her thanks repeatedly to Vasu . The moment Duko returned to Ariana's earring she turned around and faced Lobo . "How are you doing?" Ariana asked . "Apparently better then you . Your eyes are red and starting to swell . " Lobo said with a heavy sigh . "Follow me to the lake . You can splash some cold water on to your face . " 

Ariana slowly got off the ground and quietly followed while Vasu kept a close eye on Lobo . "I didn't mean to get you mad . " Ariana said quietly . " . . . I didn't mean to lose my temper . I wasn't expecting you to be so accepting of my other form . " Lobo growled reluctantly . "No, you reacted the way any creature should act . I shouldn't have acted on impulse . It's just you looked so fluffy, I really wanted to pet your fur . " Ariana said as she started to sound a little bit more excited . "No one has ever said that to me . " Lobo growled as he started to blush .

Ariana was surprised and delighted at the same time . His tail was fluffier then she expected . She tried to hug Lobo's giant tail but he moved it away too fast . "Don't be rude! I am a proud resident of the Animus Kingdom . " Lobo said as he swelled with pride . "Beast folk are the ones who migrate out of the Kingdom and have mixed offspring with humans . " Lobo explained with a disgusted face .

"So you're not shy anymore? Now you're just an arrogant p.r.i.c.k who doesn't accept interracial relations.h.i.+ps?" Ariana asked with a disappointed face . "No! Ugh . I'm sorry . I don't mean to act that way . . . Just when I change into my glorious self, I let my family's ideals slip out . " Lobo replied apologetically . "Must be hard to break free of the mold . " Ariana said as they continued to walk . "You have no idea . There's mom, dad and my siblings all cramming family pride and tradition down my throat . . . it's exhausting . " Lobo replied with an even bigger sigh .

"So siblings huh? How many do you have? are they close in age? Are any here at the Academy? Hey, how many forms do you have?! Do your siblings change?! Oh! Do your parents change?! Do all residents of the Animus Kingdom change into full human forms? Can anyone visit the Kingdom or are there strict rules and regulations for entry?" Ariana asked enthusiastically .  

"Why are you so interested?" Lobo asked in confusion as he was rapidly bombarded with questions . "Why can't you talk about it?" Ariana asked with a head tilt . "No, I'm just wondering . " Lobo replied . "I have friends back home who are beast folk but I never knew there were differences between them . I have always seen them in their humanoid forms and never questioned it . " Ariana said with a shrug . "Hoom annoyed?" Lobo repeated as he looked back . "Right humanoid, they walk on two legs and still have their fur, scales, ears and tails . " Ariana explained . "Oh wow look at that lake!" Ariana gasped .

"You're worse then the pups in the family . Easily distracted by the smallest of things . " Lobo said as he shook his head from side to side . "Look squirrel!" Ariana shouted enthusiastically . Lobo couldn't help but look to where she was pointing as his tail wagged furiously . "Where?!" He shouted . Ariana crossed her arms across her chest and gave Lobo a mischievous smile . "Easily distracted by the smallest of things . " Ariana said with a small chuckle . Lobo snorted as he walked down a wooden dock . He then plopped himself down at the edge and stuck his tail in to the water .

Ariana on the other hand walk down the dock slowly as she admired the beauty of the lake . It was so odd to her . One giant, crystal clear lake, one third the forest that surrounded it was summer while another third was fall . Finally the last third was out further and Ariana could see ma.s.sive mountains covered with snow . "This is so beautiful . " Ariana said as she sat down beside Lobo . "Ya, for every first year it must be a sight to behold but after a while you become immune to it . " Lobo said with a bored expression .

"True beauty will always be admire-pleh!" Ariana said as she started to spit out hair and water . Lobo had brought up his wet tail and smacked Ariana in the face . "Hold still . All I need now is for Cayden to see you all swollen faced and you'll know he'll blame me for it . " Lobo said as he slowly removed his tail . "Where is he?!" Ariana shouted as she beamed brightly . "No idea . This is just a giant if . . . he hasn't come back yet . " Lobo said as he dipped his tail back into the water .

"Oh . " Ariana said just as Lobo wacked his tail back on to her face . "You shouldn't be too upset . I mean he did get the engagement broken off . " Lobo said as he held his tail against Ariana face .

There was no reply . Lobo sighed after a few moments and removed his tail and dipped it back into the lake . Ariana face had become gloomy and it shocked Lobo . "The both of you are so in love with each other . . . . Is it so bad to be apart from each other?" Lobo asked with a sad smile .

Ariana looked at Lobo with watery eyes . Lobo's fur stood on end . He did not need her to start crying again . "Okay come out . " Lobo called out . A bunch of yellow flowers popped out from Lobo's fur . Ariana was mesmerized . She leaned forward with wide, curious eyes . "Come out, please come out and don't be afraid . " Ariana cooed as she restrained herself . "h.e.l.lo?" She called out again as she leaned in even closer . "Come on guys . She won't bite you . " Lobo said in a bored tone .
