"M-mom?" Ariana stuttered as she gawked at Lady Zula. "I'm sorry honey it looked like your grandmother used her authority to get the Remo's to agree to your engagement. They even made Cayden prove his was worthy and sincerity for the engagement since he broke his previous engagement. He was severly beaten and almost disowned because of the shame he brought but your grandmother wouldn't let them have their way with him." Lady Zula explained.

Ariana started to s.h.i.+ver. Cayden's long term absence was all her fault. She couldn't imagine what kind of torture they put Cayden through. She slowly brought up her arms and hugged herself, trying her best to stop her body from trembling. "If grandmother did all that how was our engagement broken? We didn't even have a announcement pary." Ariana asked. 

"It looks like that old coot had his way and transferred the engagement to his favourite grandson." Lady Zula replied. Ariana stopped breathing, she looked at Lady Zula, her eyes were wide and trembling with horror. "No!" Ariana screamed. "Honey were working on it." Lady Zula said quickly as she tried to calm Ariana down. "No!" Ariana screamed again as she tried to scramble out of the bed. 

"Ariana!" Lady Zula yelled as she tried to hold Ariana back. "Let me go! I will not marry that r*pist!" Ariana screamed as she fought against Lady Zula's hold. "DON'T YOU THINK WE ALL KNOW THAT?!" Lady Zula exploded. Ariana flinched. She stopped struggling and went completely quiet. "We know everything! It's not just you who's hurting! Cayden is devasted too! Why do you think he got so upset with you?! You spoke of another man when his brother already stole you from him! Stop diving head first already and let us help!" Lady Zula scolded.

"I'm sorry...." Ariana whispered. "I'm what?! I can't hear you." Lady Zula said arrogantly as she sat back down in the chair closest to the bed. "Mom I'm sorry." Ariana said loudly as she turned her tear filled face to her mother. "I'm sorry! I cause so many problems!" Ariana cried.

Lady Zula sighed as her pursed lips turned upright. Lady Zula then raised her hand and caught Ariana in her embrace. "I wasn't lying to you. We are honestly working on getting this fixed so for now just trust in your grandmother." Lady Zula said gently as she stroked Ariana's head.

Ariana nodded her head vigorously making Lady Zula chuckle. "Honestly if you weren't so lovable we would never tolerate your trouble making." Lady Zula said in an affectionate tone.

"Love you too, I love all of you... maybe a little too much. I never knew what I had in my past life an now, I just want to treasure every relations.h.i.+p." Ariana muttered as she wrapped her own arms around Lady Zula. "You're so silly. Your past is what makes you who you are. Besides you loved your family unconditionally even though they were trash." Lady Zula laughed. "No mom... I don't mean them." Ariana said as she pulled herself away from the embrace.

"Ariana?" Lady Zula called with a confused face. "Gregory, Edlyn, could you come in please." Ariana called out loudly. The door opened quickly and Ariana chuckled when she saw Edlyn's blus.h.i.+ng face. "Sorry, I was concerned." She explained as she walked in with the Lumas. Gregory stepped in right after but refused to explain why he was close by. 

"Ariana... are you sure you want to tell them?" Edlyn asked as she sat on the bed. "Ya, I think they have a right... plus there's more." Ariana replied. Edlyn stretched out her hand and caught Ariana's, she held it tightly and waited. "What are you talking about?" Lady Zula said as she looked at Ariana then Edlyn then their hands. "I tricked you. Everything I gave you was because I regained my memomries from my past life. I remember everything, from my life as Eve, to when I was summoned and to my birth...."

Everyone went silent. Vasu couldn't stomach what he heard, he looked at Ariana then flew out the bedroom window. 'Vasu...' Aroha called out but Ariana held her back. "Don't he has every reason to be upset." Ariana said with a weary smile. "Are you sure?" Lady Zula asked, her face was so pale she looked like she was ready to pa.s.s out. "No but I don't want anymore secrets between us. None." Ariana replied.

"That's not right, it can't be really... how could she do something like that to you she was... oh my G*d, I'm going to be sick!" Edlyn said as she rushed to the bathroom. "How can you not be sure?" Gregory asked as he clutched his left arm, his knuckles had gone completely white from the strength he was applying. "That's the thing. I can't be sure until I track down her villiage. If my suspicions are right then, then... I deserve everything that is happening." Ariana said pitifully.

"I don't believe it!" Lady Zula shouted as she stood up. "Mom?" Ariana called out as watched Lady Zula walked towards the bedroom door. "Sorry... but can you just give me some time? Please?" Lady Zula begged as she faced the door. "I... I understand." Ariana answered reluctantly as she clutched the bed sheet. "For now... no one repeat a single word about Evangeline. Not until you've confirmed everything. Do I make myself clear?" Lady Zula said sternly as she glanced back.

"Yes." Gregory and Ariana said in unison. "Good, tell Edlyn the same thing. I don't want, I can't have... I'll just wait to hear news from you. Sweatheart, take care of yourself until then." Lady Zula said apologetically before leaving. Edlyn walked back in and looking paler then before. 'Ariana?' Loralei called out as she jumped onto Ariana's lap.

"I'm okay." Ariana forcefully said as she clutched the sheet harder. 'You shouldn't lie. No more secrets right?' Rahul said as he placed a chubby paw on Ariana's leg. "Just one more, please? Just believe in my lie only for a little before." Ariana said as tears started to drop on the bed sheet.
