I Fell For A Dragon 3 I Did Not Know I Could Talk To You.

Ailill left Susan to go back and sit on the pillow he laid out. He could not transform back into his dragon now incase Susan came out looking for him. He also did not have to sleep right now.

Ailill kept hearing his dragon being restless 'mate, my mate'

I wish I could talk to my dragon.

'You can talk to me, she is are mate'

Ailill was shocked. "Do you have a name?"

'It has been a long time since I used it but it's Ancestialian'

"Ancestialian, how do you know she's our mate"

"Can a dragon and human mate?"

'Silly s.h.i.+fter, you and her can mate, When she s.h.i.+fts the dragon and dragon can mate.'

"She's not a s.h.i.+fter"

'Yes she is her dragon is Luna my mate. I have waited 10,000 years for her. my mate'

"But how?"

'When you mate her it will wake Luna, Luna will help her s.h.i.+ft'

"I don't know how to mate."

'Yes you do. Go take your mate now.'

"No, that would be wrong. Let me get her comfortable with the knowledge of our kind first. Why have you never talked to me before?"

'Ha, you had nothing interesting to talk about... Aillecht, you are my fourth s.h.i.+fter. Thank you for finding Luna. I will wait but please hurry.'

Ailill felt his dragon curl up and fall to sleep. He never knew he could talk to his dragon. How was he going to tell a human she was a s.h.i.+fter.

Susan dreams were so real. She was flying high in the sky with purple and gold wings. Playing in clouds with a Green and red dragon. She could feel the wind on her skin, or was it scales.

This was the best dream she had ever had. She loved flying more then anything. When she was younger, she wanted to be a dragon more than anything .

Ailill desided to check on his guest so slowly walked into her room. She was breathtaking. He wanted so bad to be a slibhin* and crawl into bed and hold her.

Her face was full of life. What was she dreaming. He wanted very much to be her croi* and she his storeen*.

He sat there on the edge of the bed just watching her.

When he felt the dawn coming he flew off to catch her some breakfast.

Susan woke to the delicious smell of food. This man was spoiling her. She followed the smell to the table still set for one. Why would he not eat with her?

Ailill thought he did something wrong when he seen Susan frown at the table of food he prepared. He was not a cook but tried. "A'lainn,Is there something wrong?"

"No, not really... You are not eating again, why?" she asked.

"Macushla, I don't like cooked food. I eat mine raw so I eat while I cook for you. Please enjoy, I will set with you." He laughed and pulled out the chair for her. The sat next to her.

"Macushla, did you sleep well?"He asked.

"Yes, better then I thought I would. Though I had the strangest dream of flying." She took a bite of her fish. This man could cook. "This is fantastic Ailill, How can a man cook like this and eat raw food."

He shrugged. Some of her locks fell in her face and he reached over tucking it back behind her ear. "I use to eat cooked food my mother made me. She's the reason I know how to cook."

"She was a good teacher."

"I am glad you enjoy it."

Ailill took a deep breath, "Susan, what will you do when you go back to the city?"

"Not sure. I owe a lot of money so I guess I'll get a job and pay those bill. I was hoping to sell my plane but you know what happened there. Why?" She finished off her food and turned to him.

He took her hand, " I am lonely... for to many years now I have slept because I have no one. I was hoping you would stay awhile and ..."

"I can't, I have to go back. I can't leave owing somebody money." She felt bad but it was the truth.

"I will give you some to pay them with." He held tight to her hand.

"Then I would have to work to pay you back. I can't do that." She would like to stay even if he was crazy but she knew she couldn't that.

He let go of her hand and stood up. "There is a reason you must stay. I can't tell you know but trust me you must stay."

He walked out the curtains to the out side ledge jumped of to transform. It took a second and he was a man again walking to the lagoon.

Susan got up to follow but by time she pa.s.sed through the curtains he was already on the ground walking away. 'How did he get down so fast?' She looked around and could no explanation.

She went back in and took a long look around. She walked in touching many different objects. Her body seemed to sing with the feel of the treasures all around. In one room she found gold bracelets that begged to be tried on. They felt good against her skin. What would it be like to be this rich. Would she go mad as Ailill seemed to be.

Ailill was gone for a few hours the next thing she knew he was telling her a meal was ready.

"How do you get up and down this steep mountain so fast." She asked.

He smiled at her, " You wouldn't believe me if I told you."

"Try me" She dared him.

"I flew"

"Come on tell me" I did and you do not believe me"

"Then show me." She said.

"Your not ready. When you are I'll show you. By the way they are yours now. They choose you" He said.

"What choose me?" she asked.

"My mothers bracelets, they are happy on your wrist. They choose you." He smiled at her. His his mother's draiocht bracelet choose her then his dragon was right she was his mate.

'See I told you' his dragon laughed then curled up for a nap.

She had forgotten she tried them on. Choose her, ha, she had been pulled to them but jewelry did not choose, people made the choses.
