One Night With The Prince 142 Only The Best And With Connection

Dr. Garcia arrived at the Manila Hotel only to find out that Chrissy was not in her room. He tried to get a key to her hotel room first and planned on waiting inside for her to surprise her, but the Front desk clerk was adamant and told him that she couldn't give him a spare key since he was not registered as a guest of Chrissy's and it was against the hotel's policy.

He had no choice but to try and contact Chrissy. However, when it rang, Chrissy saw his number and decided not to answer as she was not ready to speak to nor face him yet. Now that she had realized what he did, she needed to figure out first what to do, before meeting him.

When Dr. Garcia could not get a hold of Chrissy, he decided to get a room first, rest for a little and hopefully see her once she had free time on her hands, she would call him back. At least, that was what he hoped and thought.

Dr. Garcia went back to the front desk to try and get a room. Unfortunately, due to so many highs profiled people currently staying at the Manila Hotel, there was no room available. That did not bode well with him, which made him much more irritated and ready to blow up.

"I want to speak to your manager right now! I was patient and kind, but this is absurd!" He angrily told the front desk clerk.

The front desk clerk was adamant about calling his manager, but from the way Dr. Garcia was glaring at him...- He decided to let the manager handle him. 'I'm not getting paid enough to get murdered by this person.' He thought as he excused himself to look for his superior.

While Dr. Garcia was waiting for the manager, he continued trying to get a hold of Chrissy. But it was the same as before, he was not able to get through, and he was really losing his patience by the minute. For some odd reason, he started feeling uneasy about the whole thing. He wanted to know what was going on with Chrissy or he would go crazy.

Meanwhile, at the Mega International World Group of Companies, Prince Alex was in a meeting with CEO Jeff Go. The King of Stonasia had made a deal with MIWGC to invest in Stonasia a while back when they attended Ann and Jeff's wedding back then.

However, since the King was incapacitated and Prince Alex was the temporary ruler of the Kingdom, he had no choice but to be the one signing the agreement. However, his mind was not on the business at hand, and Jeff could sense it from the way he was always looking at his cellphone to see if he received a text or a call from a certain someone.

Jeff had a feeling that it had something to do with a woman from the way Prince Alex was tapping his fingers on the screen of his cellphone. Thus, Jeff decided to make it quick. "Your Highness, if everything is alright with the contract, why don't we go ahead and sign so you can attend to the next thing on your schedule."

Prince Alex realized what he was doing and felt embarra.s.sed. He quickly accepted the pen and signed the contract. Once they both had signed each other's copy, they exchanged and handed it over to their a.s.sistants.

Prince Alex was ready to leave as soon as they were done, but Jeff remembered that Ann had called and informed him that they would be having a dinner party at home and decided to invite Prince Alex.

"If you have no plans for this evening, we will be having a small gathering at home, and I would like to invite you and any friends that you would like to bring." Jeff mischievously added the word "friends" in the end while a coy smile was sitting on his thin and kissable lips.

"Was I that obvious? Hahaha!" Prince Alex asked curiously with a glimmer in his eyes.

"Hahahahaha! It's alright. Prince Alexander, I was once like you, and probably worse even. Hahaha!" Jeff laughed out loud, thinking about how he was with Ann back then.

Prince Alex once again looked at his cellphone. However, the same as it was before, no calls or texts from Alexa, hence he was getting irritated. Suddenly it occurred to him that Alexa knew Jeff's wife, and then he decided to accept the dinner invitation. He wanted them to show up at the dinner party as a couple, and he wanted everyone to know Alexa Grant belonged to him. Unknown to him that Alexa was thinking the same as him.

"CEO Go, in regards to your offer of dinner tonight, I would like to accept. I will be bringing my fiance with a couple of friends if they're interested. Would that be alright?!"

"Sure! The more, the merrier. Did you say your fiance? I thought you did not accept the bride offered to you?" Jeff banters.

Prince Alex was shocked to hear that CEO Go knew about him turning down his marriage agreement.

"How did you know? It was a hush-hush situation, and I know they suppressed all the information regarding that matter. How did you find out all the way from here?" He asked with eyes wide, and curiosity was visible on his face.

"Hahaha! It's a trade secret. I can't divulge to you how I know. But be rest a.s.sured that I obtained it legitimately, and I did not bribe anyone from your Kingdom." Jeff explained, but not giving all the details.

Prince Alex knew when he needed to retreat. Therefore, he got up and prepared to leave. He bid CEO Go farewell then quickly left to find out where Alexa was at that moment. He had missed her badly and couldn't wait to be with her. Now that his business had been concluded and he had no other engagement, he could spend every minute with the love of his life.

As soon as he stepped outside the door of Jeff's office, he quickly facetime Alexa. It only rang once, and Alexa promptly answered. Her beautiful face was showing right there on the screen of his cellphone, and his heart was filled with joy and happiness.

Alexa saw that it was Prince Alex and excused herself to go outside of the room to take the call. She walked towards the waiting area and answered the call quickly.

"Hi handsome, are you done?" Alexa happily greeted him with the most beautiful smile he ever saw. It was clearly visible to the naked eye that Alexa was over the moon, and Prince Alex loved it. His heart was bursting with love, and it was flowing and showing on his handsome face.

"Yes! I just finished signing a billion-dollar deal for the Kingdom, and I'm so happy and relieved. Now that all my business dealings are over and I can spend as much time as I have here with you. Hahaha!" He happily informs his future princess.

"Wow! A Billion-dollar deal. I'm so proud of you! Congratulations. So what's your plan now? I have wonderful news to tell you, and you would be shocked when you hear about it." The excitement was showing on Alexa's face.

"Well, nothing really. I'm kind of hoping that I can accompany you wherever you are right now." Prince Alex excitedly informed her, while anxiously waiting for Alexa to tell him where she was at that moment.

Alexa was about to tell Prince Alex where she was when someone spoke, and Prince Alex could hear the voice from the background.

"Well, well, well! If it isn't the mysterious Alexa Grant, in-person...- Which bad air blew you away in my turf. Are you here trying to get in with this Agency, Hahaha! Good luck. Don't think that you will be able to enter this company. They only accept the best of the best."

And with the connection. Jane Si thought to herself as she glared at Alexa with a smirk plastered on her face.
