The flight to America was going to take about twenty hours. Therefore, it was a perfect time for Andrea and Alexa to patch things up. They had a misunderstanding during grandmother Santos wake. Though, Alexa didn't have an idea what it was about.

Sophia and Chrissy complied with her request and took the opportunity to utilize the luxurious setting of the private plane. They used the secluded cabin and comfortably slept in the same bed as they used to do in college. 

Halfway through the flight, Chrissy woke up with a bad headache and scared the heck out of Sophia. Chrissy was in excruciating pain. Sophia was awakened from her m.u.f.fled cries and quickly tried to help her. "Chrissy, dear... what can I do? Tell me!" Sophia asked while trying to sooth Chrissy's head by ma.s.saging it to the best of her abilities.

"My bag, I have medicine there, please! Get it for me... Arrrg! It hurts so bad...!" Chrissy tossed and turned and kept on banging her head on the pillow which was scaring the s.h.i.+t out of Sophia.

"Ok, ok, ok! Let me get it, hold on..." Sophia quickly looked for Chrissy's traveling bag and dug out the medicine. Once she found it, she went back to the bed where Chrissy was still tossing and turning from the pain.

"I got it! What do I do now?" She asked while trying to prepare to make an injection. 

Chrissy stretches her left arm. "Strap the elastic band first, then stick the needle with the serum and make sure all go in." 

Sophia followed the instructions and quickly administered the medicine to Chrissy. Once she was done, she went to the small bathroom, got a wet towel, and came back to the cabin. With a towel in her hand, she looked at Chrissy, who was sound asleep after the shot that she had given her.

She slowly sat down at the edge of the bed and started wiping the sweat from her forehead. She had sweated like crazy from the ordeal. "What is wrong with you, Chrissy? I hope that is not something detrimentally dangerous. Let me tell you; I will not be able to handle it if something happens to you." Sophia said. She was wiping the sleeping Chrissy's forehead while tears were falling down her beautiful face.

She couldn't help but think of the old times. She felt like it was only yesterday when they met for the first time. She was so happy to be accepted to one of the prestigious Art schools in the country- Julliard. The day she arrived, she was scared half to death. Her mother couldn't come with her, and she ended up going there alone. 

When she arrived at New York City, it was snowing cats and dog, and she was wearing a very light jacket without gloves and a hat. She grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada where it's always hot. She never needed snowsuit or winter jacket. Therefore, she was only wearing a light windbreaker, but the weather was below zero.

While she was waiting for a bus outside JFK International airport, a young girl about the same age as her saw her shaking from cold and offered her a set of winter clothes. At first, Sophia was going to turn her down, but she was freezing cold and decided to swallow her pride, and in the end, accepted them. Who would have thought that the same girl would turn out to be her cousin from the Philippines?

After thanking the girl, Sophia made her way to the bus stop, waving to the girl, with the promise that if they ever meet again, she would pay her back tenfold. Thus, when they met again during the cla.s.s orientation, Sophia and Chrissy instantly become friends. 

They had been through a lot back when they were studying in Julliard. They found each other by chance and were happy to learn that they were also blood-related. Both of them were beautiful, tall, and were very talented. They were the envy of many of their colleagues. But with their strong bond with each other, they were able to overcome many hurdles that came along the way.

When both of them had fallen in love with the love of their lives, they immediately told each other about that. However, when both made a mistake and got themselves pregnant at the same time... They both hid it from each other. 

Sophia went back home to Las Vegas and took a year off, while Chrissy stopped going to school and moved in with the father of her child. Therefore, their children never knew that they were cousins. 

Sophia was saddened with the fact that while she was already happy with her life, her cousin was still suffering. She made a wow to herself that no matter what happened, she would do everything in her power to see her cousin's smiling face once again. 

She continued reminiscing while she was caressing her cousin's face. Sophia didn't realize that Chrissy had already wakened, and was staring at her curiously, with comprehensive eyes.

"Cousin, don't scare me! What are you looking at me like that for?!" Sophia asked while frowning.

Chrissy was intensely staring at Sophia as if she was trying to penetrate in her mind and find something there. She slowly moved Sophia's hands away from her face. Then, put herself in a seating position before asking Sophia a serious question.

"I'm sorry! But do I know you?" Chrissy asked curiously looking at Sophia, with her eyes wide opened.
