One Night With The Prince 54 Is She?

The Doctor came running with an envelope in his hand, waving it to get President Grant's attention. "Mr. President, here it is, I made a mistake, and I thought someone tampered with your samples, come to find out it was a different envelope that I opened, it was another patient of mine, I'm an idiot. Hahaha!"

President Grant could, careless what happened, what matter for him is the envelope in his hand, nothing else. He's a very busy person, as a President of the country, he has no time to worry about such a thing. That's what all his cabinet and secretaries are for, to take care of everything for him.

"Hurry up and give that thing to me, you're blubbering so much nonsense. Hand it over!" President Grant impatiently grabbed the envelope and opened it like his life is at stake.

Once he had the sheet of paper out of the envelope, he started reading, and he went straight to the bottom where it indicates their relations.h.i.+p to each other. What he saw made him slump down to his chair behind his desk. He feels like the mountain of burden that he was carrying was suddenly lifted.

President Grant re-read what was written in the piece of paper to make sure that his eyes weren't playing a trick on him. Once he's convinced that it is what it is, he then started laughing out loud for everyone outside to hear.

Then tears started to flow in his eyes without realizing that it's happening. He was overwhelmed with happiness, what's in his hand proves that Alexa is, and his one and only biological daughter. No one could say any difference otherwise.

The Doctor has tears in his eyes as well, he knew that the President wanted to have a daughter for many years, and when the President found out that he did impact fathered one, the happiness that shown on his face at that time was incomparable to what is showing now.

The Doctor was happy for the First Family. ' To finally get their wish, is a blessing from above.' He thought as he watches the President of America shed tears from happiness.

"I knew it, I felt it from my bone that she's my daughter, I don't need this piece of paper to tell me, but it's a bonus to know for sure. Hahaha! Hahaha!" President Grant was telling the Doctor while his eye was s.h.i.+ning brightly.

"Doctor, I would appreciate it if you don't let anyone know that we have the result on hand. I will inform them in due time if you know what I mean?" President Grant was telling him instead of asking.

"Sure, sure! I have no issue keeping it between us. I will take care of the technician and my staff, I will make sure to keep their mouth shut, or I will shut it off for them. Hahaha!" He jokingly told President Grant to lighten the mood. "If there's nothing else, I'll get back to my business, and I still have many appointments today. I'll bid you goodbye for now." He then turned around and left, walking in leisure now, opposite for the way he came in earlier.

President Grant put the piece of evidence in his safe where no one else has access but him. He will guard that piece of paper with his whole life; it's the proof of Alexa's ident.i.ty has his biological daughter. Is not the right time to inform everyone yet, he would wait after he consults his advisor before announcing it to the whole world.

Just as he was about to sit back down and continued what his doing before his next appointment, someone knocks at the door. "Mr. President, First Lady Dianne would like a word with you! Should I let her in?" His a.s.sistant shouted from the outside of the Oval Office.

'What does she wants now? Someone must have told her about the Doctor rus.h.i.+ng here with an envelope, and she wants to find out if it's the result. Hahaha! Good thing that I was able to hide it already.' He thought while contemplating to let her in, "Yes, do let her in!" He replies to his a.s.sistant.

As soon as First Lady heard him say yes, she pushed opened the door and walked right excitedly. "Is it the result? You already know if she is your biological daughter or not?!" She asked anxiously.

' Gosh, wouldn't you want to know so you could kick her out right away if she's not. Hahaha! Like I would tell you.' President Grant was thinking. "No, it wasn't the result that he brought with him. Actually, he came back because he needed a sample from me. Someone had tampered with the first sample that he took from us." He lied straight face and made sure he looks believable.

"Oh? And I was so' excited and came in a rush. Well, you will soon find out, if you do! Do let me know right away, so I could welcome her appropriately if she impacts our daughter." 'And so I could kick her out right away is she's not.' She thought, looking at her husband straight face.

"Sure! I'll make sure to do that, why don't you go ahead. I have matters to attend to before my next appointment." President Grant gives his wife a light kiss on her cheek before seating back behind his desk and ignoring her afterward.

First, Lady Dianne has no choice but to leave the Oval Office, and she knows that the President has a lot of appointment. "See you later then, and you'll have lunch with me, right? You need to make up for missing breakfast with me, you know!" She told him while her mouth was pouting to make herself look pitiful in front of her husband.

However, President Grant didn't even pay any attention to her. He was already engrossed with whatever it is his doing and ignored her in return.

First, Lady Dianne has no choice but to leave sulking. "Hmpt, if you're ignoring me now when you're not even sure she's your daughter... What happened then, when you do find out? I can't wait to find out what you're going to do, hope you make the right decision, or she would pay for it in return." She was mumbling to herself as she walks out of the Oval Office...

She has no idea that President Grant heard every word that came out of her mouth, he's taking it all in and preparing for Alexa's future, away from the hyena and her snooty little niece.
