One Night With The Prince 80 Welcome To The White House!

Ria was stunned when the door burst open. Logan and Lucas had come running with guns out of their holsters ready to shoot.

"What the heck? What are you guys doing? Better be careful with those guns, you might inadvertently discharge and kill me instead!" Ria was screaming at the twins.

Logan was the first to speak. He anxiously asked Ria. "What was that all about? Where's Miss Grant? Is she alright?" He immediately asked questions to the astonished Ria still frowning at them for barging into the room.

Alexa hurriedly went to wash her face. While still combing her hair, she checked to see what the commotion was all about.

"Good Morning! Whoa! " She backed away with both her hands up in the air while one was still holding a hairbrush. Alexa was startled after seeing guns were in the hands of the twins as they searched the room for an intruder. "What's with 'Rambo' action this early in the morning? " She asked with eyes wide as an owl.

Once they verified that there was no intruder and Alexa was safe and sound, they safely put the safety back on and returned the guns back into the holsters before giving their attention to Alexa.

"We heard you were squealing from outside, and we only wanted to make sure that you're safe and secure. Now that we have seen with our eyes, we will be returning to our posts. " Lucas mainly told Alexa while scratching his head as he turned around to leave. Logan followed right behind him doing the same thing; shaking and scratching his head.

As soon as the two left, Alexa couldn't help herself and began chuckling out loud. "Hahaha! Hahaha! Those two sure are protective and alert. Did you see how they looked with those guns in their hands? Scary... Isn't it?" She excitedly told Ria who had a concerned look on her face.

"Miss Grant, are you positive that you're alright?" She asked with anxiety in her voice.

"Ria, first of all, when there's only you and I in a room, please, I implore you not to call me Miss Grant. I prefer being called my first name; Alexa, please! L-E-X-A, Alexa!!! Shall we spell it together this time? Hahaha! Please, that's my first name: use it. Please?" She requested with her two hands put together like she was praying but also with a smile on her face as she considered Ria to be her friend and confidant.

Ria was uncertain how she would respond. In a way, she was bewildered to hear Alexa ask her that, and on the other hand, she felt exceptional to be addressed as an equal, not just a subordinate.

"Thank you! I will surely remember that in the future." Ria responded shyly while looking at her foot and not to Alexa.

Alexa went towards Ria and lifted her face with her two hands. "Look, you also need to change the way you always look down at your feet when you're speaking with me. Have confidence and look at me straight in the face..." She raised Ria's face to look at her, "Like this!" Then give her a sisterly hug. "Now, call my name... Say it while looking straight in my face. Aaaa...Leeeeex...Aaaaa!"

Ria looked into Alexa's eyes as if to say thank you before she finally opened her mouth to speak what she was thinking. "Thank you, Alexa!" She said with a slight smile on her face, which made her look less stern and pretty.

"By the way, Alexa, why did you scream earlier? It's not because of the eye bags that you are now wearing or is it?"

"No, it wasn't that. I could care less about the eye bags and how I look. It's because of this!" She then showed the text message she just received from Daniel.

[ Little sister, I want to give you a heads up! A group of people requested your presence to provide them with a tour of the White House, with me, of course. Get ready! I'll come to get you in a minute. 'Your sweet brother']

"Oh, my gos.h.!.+ What are you waiting for then? Let's get you ready before he shows up!" Ria quickly pulled Alexa back to the dressing room to pick a more appropriate dress to wear as the First Daughter of the First Family...

Meanwhile, at the entrance to the White House, two giant limousines were seen pulling right at the front gate where the visitors would have to pa.s.s for a tour of the White House.

The guards were provided with all their identification. After carefully checking their credentials, they were pointed toward a different driveway. It led to the private entrance of the First Family's residence instead of where the tourist would generally enter.

By the time they arrived at the entrance of the First Family's residence, Daniel and Alexa were already there waiting for them excitedly. Alexa couldn't hold herself back from showing how thrilled she was at the moment, and she was grinning from ear to ear as she watched the limousine arrive.

Alexa was gripping Daniel's arm a little tighter than usual as she excitedly kept on giggling like a teenager she was. "They're here! Oh! I'm so excited to see my idol. I can't believe that they have not gone back to continue their honeymoon yet."

Daniel thought that his sister was too gullible. She was getting so excited by meeting some celebrity. If he tells this story to their father, he would think it's an exaggeration. "Alright! Calm down now; they would think you're a crazy fan or something!" He said to lighten the mood.

The limousines stopped right in front of Alexa and Daniel. Then the drivers of the cars came out running to open the doors for the pa.s.sengers to disembark. One by one, the group from "IAMAC" stepped out of the vehicles. They were all looking impeccable and beautifully dressed for the tour.

The men wore polo s.h.i.+rts, shorts, and tennis shoes, while the ladies wore simple summer dresses with various flowery prints on them along with some beautiful leather sandals. The ladies were wearing straw hats, and the men wore baseball hats to compliment the ladies. And to top it off, sungla.s.ses to complete the ensemble.

Every one of them looked like tourists with only one exception: the cars they came with for the tour. Only the group from IAMAC could pull off such a grand entrance...

Daniel was not able to stop Alexa from running towards the group to welcome them. He could only follow along right behind Alexa as she greeted them as loud as she could... She shouted!

"Welcome! Welcome!! Welcome to the White House. Why they call it White House, please don't ask me for I have no Idea." She then took a 90-degree bow as if she was welcoming royalty or something.

"Eh?" Were everyone's reply and reaction, before they began laughing out loud...

Lucas and Logan wanted to greet them but were afraid that they would get in trouble for leaving their post, which was standing right behind Alexa at all time.

Alexa saw the way the two were fidgeting, so she took it upon herself to order them instead. " What? You guys are not even going to greet your family? What are you waiting for? Christmas?" She scolded the twins making it look like she was commanding them.

"Go!" She ordered them sternly this time. The twins had no choice but to comply wholeheartedly and with wide grins plastered on their handsome faces. They both began welcoming everyone, especially Jeff and Ann.

Logan introduced Daniel Grant to Jeff and Ann first then to everyone else afterward.

Daniel Grant was an excellent host, so he quickly ushered them inside where the weather was cooler. "Why don't we all go inside? I'll introduce you all to the President and First Lady before we start with the tour of this very prestigious and historic building.

Everyone agreed, hence they all followed Alexa and Daniel without question. They arrived at the private residence parlor the same time that Jane Si, Ramon, and Lady Lucy Le Grand were coming in.

The time seemed to stop, and no one said a word to the other... They were all having a staring compet.i.tion when a voice broke the awkwardness from the doorway.

"*Ahem! Ahem*! Excuse me? Are you all going in or going out?"

Everyone from the IAMAC group was dumbfounded and unable to utter a word. They stood there with their mouths wide open gawking at the person who had just spoken...
