One Night With The Prince 99 Learning The Truth

Lady Antella looked at him with disdain. She had never seen Prince Alexander get so worked up like this before in her entire life. She was debating if she should divulge Ramon's true ident.i.ty or create one.

"Lady Antella!!!" Prince Alexander shouted and acted all almighty, trying his best to intimidate his opponent, with no success.

Lady Antella got up and walked towards the dining table instead of replying to Prince Alexander.

"Hmmm, this sure smells delicious, what is it?" She asked Pierre who's standing at the corner with Greta watching how Prince Alexander was making a fool of himself.

"Lady Antella, I would ask you one more time..." This time his voice was much more mellow and in a lower tone of voice.

"See! If you would speak to me that way, then I might be inclined to tell you all I know. But, when you're acting all high and mighty... You could forget getting anything out of me." She banters as she sat down and began scooping soup and started eating with gusto.

With unladylike posture, she ate and spoke while her mouth was filled with food. When she's around Prince Alexander, she could show her actual color. The Tomboy, Miss Antella Le Grand.

"Let see, how to I began with this, remember the last time we were in the Philippines and you sabotage my meeting with Miss Grant. We met them in the elevator of the hotel, and we were stuck together for almost an eternity. You two were about to murder each other, remember that?" She asked Prince Alexander nonchalantly.

Prince Alexander thought about that time, and he recalled the meeting. "What does has got to do with what I'm asking you? Stop going in a circle and tell me how you two are related to each other when you didn't even recognize him them?" He's now curious of what is the story with this cousins.

"Well, I didn't know him then... When we got back, I was summoned to the Dukes Estates to be informed that I have a cousin. I was really stunned when I learned that, but who am I to question them." Lady Antella was speaking like they were discussing the weather.

"You see, Ramon is... He's what you had just called him, a b.a.s.t.a.r.d. He's Lady Lucy Le Grand's son from some unknown father." She continued eating while speaking.

"Lady Lucy was disowned by the family when she got pregnant with him. She left the Country and went to live in the Philippines for I think about 12-years until Grandfather was in his deathbed and called her back and reinstate her t.i.tle."

"However, at the moment no one in the Kingdom knows about Ramon, they are still waiting for some result and of course, the right time. Then they would announce him once they are 100 % sure of his ident.i.ty, whatever that might be?" She raised her hands in the air, indicating to him that she has no idea.

"So, you're telling me that Ramon Le Grand could be conferred a t.i.tle? Like what kind? Lady Lucy has not been conferred a Princess even though she was born from a Duke with Royal blood. Hmmm, there's something fishy here." He then turned to Pierre and ordered him.

"Investigate Ramon's true parentage and don't let anyone knows, you hear me?!" He then went to his room to prepare himself to go to the White House.

Back in the White House, President Grant, Daniel, Alexa, and Lady Lucy were seated and ready to have the discussion. Any onlooker could tell from the way Lady Lucy was fidgeting and was not seating comfortably, that she has something to hide and afraid that it would the reckoning day.

President Grant was reading a file that was handed to him by his a.s.sistant. Daniel and Alexa were just seating comfortably and making glances to Lady Lucy secretly and waiting for President Grant to start the meeting.

The President finally set aside the folder he was reading and looked at Lady Lucy straight face. He stared at her for a while without uttering a word, and it's making Lady Lucy perspire furiously.

'Come on! Mr. President, why don't we get this over with... If you let me out of here alive, I promised to stay away from your wife from now on.' She was telling herself the whole time while still waiting for the President to begin.

Finally, "Lady Lucy, do you know why asked to meet with you today? You know I'm a very busy person, and I don't have much time. However, I made time today, even though I must fly out in an hour..." President Grant spoke mildly and in a low tone of voice.

"Therefore, you understand the importance of this meeting, right?" He finished with a sigh!

"You see this folder? What I have here is something vital, and it could put you in a hot seat. What I want is for you to tell me everything you know without me asking you. Do you understand that?!"

Lady Lucy nodded, then looked at Alexa's direction, then Daniel. She doesn't want them to hear it coming out of her mouth, but she needed to cover her a.s.s, he asked for her to speak without him asking, then... She would comply with wholeheartedly.

" I have nothing to do with what happened back then. I only reported to the First Lady about spotting you together with her Mother in N.Y.C. " She pointed her finger to Alexa then continued with her story. "Whatever happened after that, I have nothing to do with it, especially the death of her Mother... Sure I was living in the Philippines then, but I never a.s.sociated myself with Chrissy."

She then began sobbing for no apparent reason, whether she's acting or telling the truth, who knows.

Daniel was not buying a word she's saying, and so as Alexa. They remain seated and quietly listen to her blurted out all kind of nonsense.

Meanwhile, President Grant eyes were bulging out of the socket from what he had learned. That was not he was asking Lady Lucy. It was a different matter which has nothing to do with First Lady Dianne and Grandmother Santos.

However, if she was willing to sell First Lady Dianne, let her be. He continued listening without interrupting...
