Marco and Tamamo walked out from the desert, and Tamamo's monster parts literally popped out with a loud *Pop*, surprising Marco, then she turned towards him and asked.

Tamamo: Where do we go now?

Marco: At the Pyramid, I will go pick up the princess and then I will try to find Gnome.

*Ding*

Tamamo: ...Gnome? Why?

Marco: Well, I want to achieve coexistence between Monsters and Humans, and I need all the necessary power to do it, the one I currently have isn't enough.

Marco increased a bit his speed, and Tamamo realized it was something private so she didn't inquired further and followed him. He didn't want to talk about his mother, so he stood silent about that part.

Many hours later, they arrived at the Pyramid, they needed so much time because the map was not that clear about the position of the pyramid and they avoided some monsters while Marco fought others.

The Pyramid in front of them was exactly like the one from Marco's old world, so it didn't impressed him much, same thing with Tamamo, maybe she went here sometimes so she isn't surprised from the size.

Marco: Finally, we reached this place…

Tamamo: Yeah, I don't see anything strange from here, maybe the princess is inside.

Marco nodded and stepped inside. But was interrupted from a scream.

?: KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

Then a light armored girl came out from the entrance while screaming, Marco moved to the side and the girl got past him, before stumbling on the sand and falling.

Marco had a dumbfounded face while Tamamo was silently giggling, then the girl laid her hands beside her and pushed her body up, before spitting the sand from her mouth.

Marco had a smile from seeing this scene, then the girl finished to remove the sand from her mouth and stood up while cleaning her mouth, and turned around, finding Marco and Tamamo, with monster parts.

?: Kyaaaa! A monster! Don't eat me!

Tamamo started to laugh while Marco giggled, when the girl realized that Tamamo was doing nothing, she watched dumbfounded, before noticing Marco, who talked.

Marco: So, what are you doing here, woman?

?: It's my own reason… Who are you?

Marco: I'm Marco, a traveler, now it's your turn.

Tamamo: I'm Tamamo.

Sara: I'm Sara, I'm aiming to be the top swordswoman. But I'm still in training…

Marco: … 'Well, at least we found out princess, now how can I be sure about it without making Tamamo suspicious?'

They stood in silence for a while, making Sara curious, then Marco spoke again.

Marco: So… What do you think about the princess in the Sabasa Kingdom?

Sara blushed a bit and said with a voice of admiration, the reason Tamamo said 'Monster' was because the Dragon Seal Trial is a trial that allows a human to marry a dragon, and there aren't that many dragon monsters.

Tamamo: Pfffft….

Tamamo almost laughed when she heard that Granberia had a lover, while it seems that Marco didn't cared.

Marco looked forward, to the darkness of the narrow path, and found a Mummy Girl, who looked annoyed.

She had dark grey skin and bandages everywhere, even her hair were bandages, they were covering part of her face, her chest, her arms, her waist, her legs, and others were going around her like tentacles.

Mummy Girl: Stop coming here before I really kill you! For the Sphinx… You are really annoying! You are too weak! And now? You brought helpers too… It doesn't matte-

She was interrupted when a kick came across her face, and she flew back some meters away, then everyone heard a sound of something stepping in the ground and found Marco in a boxer stance while using the 1st Gate.

Tamamo and Sara were so distracted from the Mummy Girl's words that they didn't noticed Marco attacking.

When Marco noticed that nothing was glowing, he rushed towards the Mummy Girl, who extended an hand towards him and bandages flew towards him.

Marco jumped and started to spin his body around, creating a wind barrier around him which knocked back the bandages, shocking the Mummy Girl and Sara, while Tamamo was impressed from his control on wind.

When the wind barrier disappeared, he used the remaining wind to propel himself to the Mummy Girl, and pierced her body with Thunder Thrust.

The Mummy Girl didn't said a single word, and started glowing before being sealed in a pile of bandages.

Marco stood up and turned around, looking at a shocked Sara and a surprised Tamamo.

Tamamo: It seems you got stronger with your first tail…

Marco: It is thanks to the win-

Sara: W-What happened?!

Marco: ...Just ignore it, let's go forward…

Sara gulped and slowly nodded, before following Marco and Tamamo, with a bit of caution.

She was frightened from Marco's sudden power up and new looks, making him look more like a wild beast than a human.

Sara: Y-You… You're a lot stronger than you look… Even if not strong as Granberia...

Marco: Meh, things happened…

Tamamo: Hey Sara…

Tamamo was grinning when she heard Sara talking about Granberia's strength, she wanted to drop a bomb.

Sara: Yeah?

Tamamo: Marco defeated Granberia once…

Marco: *Sigh* Why did yo-

Sara: WHAT!?

Sara interrupted Marco with a shout, annoying him a bit, he didn't deactivated the 1st Gate so his hearing was still upgraded.

Marco: What the h.e.l.l Sara?!

Sara: You beat Granberia?! How?!

Marco: f.u.c.k you Tamamo!

Tamamo: Hahahahaha!

It was becoming a mess, Tamamo was laughing while rolling in the ground, Sara was asking questions too loudly while invading his personal s.p.a.ce, and Marco was getting p.i.s.sed off.

Sara: Please tell me how!

Marco: Shut the f.u.c.k up!

Then Marco developed a second tail, entering the 2nd Gate, and used one to grab Sara and covering her mouth while he walked away, deeper.

Tamamo stood up and followed him while laughing, and Marco was mumbling about things like "Almost destroying the Pyramid" and "Feeling the urge of devouring the current generation of royalties".
