At the Gray's residence.

Lance walked towards their home and asked their long time Butler where his parents are.

"Good afternoon Lance, they are in the dining hall. You are just in time for lunch."

"Thanks Bob." Lance then went straight to the dining area.

When Leo saw his second son he asked for the maid to bring extra plate and utensils. "What brings you here?"

Lance sat on his respective seat after giving his mom a kiss on her cheek. "Geez Dad! Can't I come home for lunch?" He thanked Mary one of their elderly maid for the plate and utensils.

"We just thought that you'll be having lunch with our investors." Leo sliced a piece of beef and ate it elegantly.

Lance thanked his mom for serving him his food. "The lunch meeting was rescheduled for next week, by the way I met my sister-in-law and my adorable nephew." Lance took his sweet time to chew on his food.

Lila who was getting impatient, kicked her son's leg. She badly wants to hear the news about his first son's girlfriend and of course her grandchild. "Spill the beans Lance!"

Lance winced because of the pain on his left leg, "Let me eat first mom! Seeing brother flirt and be a romantic guy depleted my energy, I badly need to cure myself with food." Lance wolfed down his food to emphasize his point.

Leo looked at his son in disbelief. "Slow down Lance the food will not run away."

Lila sulked on her seat, she was muttering about her son not being filial while Lance enjoyed his food to the fullest. Leo sighed, can his family be normal for once. Leo smiled at his wife's cuteness and his son's stubborness, even though his family is hard to deal with sometimes, he will never exchange them for anything. His life would be boring if he had a perfect family, he much prefers this orderly chaos in his life.

Lance rubbed his full tummy, 'now he's fully charged.' With a satisfied look, he reached out for his dessert, his motto is 'A dessert completes a satisfying meal'. But then his mother grabbed his favorite pudding, putting it away out from his reach. He pouted, and he once again tried to reach for his pudding but his mother was really a stubborn woman.

"No news no pudding." Lila said with finality. She knows Lance's habit of eating and by denying him his favorite pudding, Lance had no choice but to tell her about Hestia and Ichigo.

"Humph.. Fine."

Lila smiled brightly at her son, "then shall we head to the garden, Mary can you please bring tea and pudding to the garden."

"Yes Lila." Mary smiled and ordered the maids to clean the table while she prepared the tea and pudding.

Lila smiled at Mary, she was like a mother to her and Leo and a grandmother to her two sons. "Thanks Mary and do rest I know your back is acting up again, I bought a good medicine for back aches and I placed it in your room."

Mary was thankful to have the Gray's as her employer, they treat every staff as family. "Lila thank you but I need to do my job."

Lila hugged the woman she considers as her third mom, "Your job is to take a rest and order young maids to do staff for you and no more excuses, that's an order."

Mary looked over Leo in hopes that he will correct his wife, but he just agreed with her. "Leo I never would have guessed that you will grow up to be such a romantic guy." Mary whispered when she walked pa.s.s Leo, she smiled when he heard him laugh heartily.

Lila took hold of Lance's arm and dragged him towards the garden.

"I never heard that Mary was having back pains, is it serious?" Lance sat in front of his mother. He was surprised to see his dad along with them.

"We also learned about it recently, she was keeping it a secret if it were not for Bob we would never know." Lila was really concerned about Mary's health and she knows that Leo was even more concern. She and her husband Bob was their the moment Leo was born until he had his own family. They are both precious to their family.

"Don't worry Love, I asked for Dr. Jean to come over to check on Mary. If she needs to be hospitalized then we will bring her there." Leo helped his beautiful wife on her seat before sitting right next to her. "What's that surprised look for?" He asked his son. He was also curious and quite excited to hear about the woman who melted his son's icy cold heart.

Lance shrugged his shoulder, "I never thought that Dad is also a fan of gossips"

"Well your brother's love life is a good source of entertainment and because I'm bored I need to be entertained."

Lance smirked, "Don't worry Dad you'll be entertained for a very long time."

Leo clinked his cup of tea on Lance's cup, "Then I will be expecting good news from you."

Lila clapped her hands to interrupt the two, "So what can you say about Hestia? What about my grandchild? How did you find them when your brother was so secretive?" Lila can not control her excitement, her eyes are sparkling with antic.i.p.ation.

Feeling the enthusiasm of his parents, Lance started to tell them how he stalked his brother that morning to meet his awesome sister-in-law and nephew.

"So you waited outside the school for two hours just to meet them, good job Lance for being stubborn!"

Lance was not sure if his mom is praising him or not. "I prefer the word strong will than stubborn but yes I persevered to meet them, and I was greatly rewarded. Sister-in-law is a G.o.ddess, her wonderful disposition is an oasis for broken souls. She's my savior." Lance almost lost his life but thanks to Hestia and Ichigo he survived his brother's wrath. "When brother was ready to end my life, sister-in-law gallantly saved this poor soul from the devil." Lance by now was exaggerating his story.

His exaggerated expressions hooked his parents to his story. "Sister-in-law easily tamed the beast and turned brother into a puppy, you should've seen how p.u.s.s.y whipped he was! I was shocked but what impressed me the most is when sister-in-law asked brother to apologize to me and brother without hesitating said sorry!"

"Wow! I never would have thought that my daughter-in-law is this amazing! I am so dying to meet her!" Lila was truly impressed, she cannot wait to bond with Hestia.

Leo sat there nodding his head in approval, Hestia is really his son's match. "What about my grandson?"

"Oh yes, yes! What about my adorable grandson? Did you perhaps have a picture?" Lila badly wanted to have a picture of her grandson, she can't wait to brag about Ichigo to her friends and specially to Milly.

Lance happily told them how adorable and mature Ichigo was. "Ichigo is a bright kid, he looks like brother every time he scowls or glares at me. He he he they even have the same temperament but both of them turns into puppies whenever Hestia is around." Lance smiled when he recalled how cunning his nephew was, he was really a mini-me version of his brother. "Ichigo is a smart kid. The short time I spent with him made me understand why brother adored him so much. He is a great kid and I salute sister-in-law for raising a wonderful child."

Lila became emotional all of a sudden. She really admires single parents who exceptionally raised their kids. "If what you said about Hestia is true, there's no doubt that she is truly a wonderful person. I wish Damon can introduce them soon, I officially want them to be part of our family"

"Don't worry mom brother will introduce them next week at your anniversary party." Lance ate the last spoonful of pudding, "but I think brother needs our help."

"What can we do to help your brother?" Leo and Lila asked simultaneously.

Lance took his celphone out of his pocket and dialed a number. "Let us asked what my nephew is planning."
