"I want to take a dip in the onsen with you," I whispered to Kaname's ear.

He expressed his approval before signaling the horse to bring us back to the villa. I just wanted to spend some quality time with him while I can still have him all to myself. Back in the palace, he has duties and responsibilities to fulfill. Now that I can get to spend twenty-four hours with him without interruption for a few days, I don't want to waste it by visiting shops and buying things I don't necessarily need.

When we got back to the villa, he instructed Fumi to serve our lunch in our room while we take our bath.

The garden was covered in snow, making it look like the contents of a snow globe. As Kaname was afraid that the temperature outside would be too cold for us, we decided to bathe in the indoor onsen instead. I rested my back on his chest as we savored the spring's hot water, one of my hands was resting on his right knee while the other one was creating ripples in the water.

One of the things that I love about being with Kaname is that we can enjoy moments like this without feeling the need to fill the silent gaps with senseless chatter. However, he also couldn't keep his hands to himself whenever we're this close to one another. Without warning, he s.h.i.+fted and snaked an arm around my waist before running his nose on my nape.

"What are you up to?" I smiled as he started kissing my shoulder.

"You know what I'm up to, Hina," he murmured while cupping my breast. "I'm continuing what I failed to finish last night."

"I see," I grabbed his hand that was on my waist and guided it to the center of my thighs.

"So you want me here?" his husky voice sent a s.h.i.+ver down my spine.

I nodded.
