Nirvanic Cultivation Arts 5 - The Sword In The Stone

Almost disappointed by the lack of anything valuable Mo Long turned to leave when suddenly he caught a glimpse of a softly glowing sword with the blade trapped within a ma.s.sive boulder.

Attracted by the strange allure of the sword Mo Long approached the boulder. Attempting to take the sword he gripped the hilt and pulled but the sword didn't budge.

Determined he gritted his teeth and pulled with all his might and slowly but surely the sword slipped out of the rock.

From a quick glance at the sword you could tell whoever had created it was a master of their craft. The blade had intricate patterns running along the hilt.

Under a layer of dust there was something on the sword that was softly glowing and wiping the dust off, it revealed a large red gem glowing with a powerful red light.

Mo Long lifted the sword up and struck a heroic pose with the sword pointing to the heavens, when all of a sudden the whole sword started glowing with an unearthly red light but unlike the light of the gem this light gave off an ancient aura.

[Do You Crave Power, Young One?]

"Who said that?"Mo Long shouted spinning around looking for the source of the voice.

[Child do not worry, I am not one with evil intents]

"Show yourself." he spoke in a commanding tone.

[Silly Child, I am the Sword Spirit of the legendary weapon Azeroth.]

"Do you have a name?" he spoke softly, glancing at the sword as if it would eat him.

[You may call me Master until you achieve the rank of nirvanic emperor.]

"A nirvanic what now." he said in confusion.

[Address me as master and how do you not know the basic cultivation ranks]

"I have never heard of cultivation is it maybe a form of fitness." he asked in complete confusion believing the so called 'Master' was speaking complete nonsense.

[What kind of backward civilisation are you from and where even are we the last thing I can remember is being in a battle and the location it was in was the Holy Empire.]

"As far as i know there is no such Holy Empire, the only empire i know of is the Dragonvale Empire."
