The Atlantean Compensator 94 Herald The Crusader!?

It's the weekend.

The first week being back from Koufonisi, so far all five of the Atlanteans are experiencing different situations in their lives.

Sebastin is isolating himself, but there's something going on with him and Lawra...

Beazly is still trying to catch the evil man.

Herald is living a double life.

It seems that the only two who are content now are Ayla and Elara!

Will that continue being the case?

*Inside Herald"s house*

Muruem. "Honey, please pick up the washed clothes from upstairs.

I think they're dry now."

Herald. "Ugh...Okey!"

On his way up he was complaining.

"Like mother like wife, it seems like i'll always have to do this.

Maybe until i have a kid...But then he'll dislike it as well!"

As herald was picking them, he suddenly stopped!

Without looking back, he says.

"I knew you were going to appear soon."

It was Guiado!!

Standing on top of the building, with his long coat and hat.

"You're able to sense things before seeing them.

Good thing!"

Herald turns towards his old friend.

"Isn't it too hot for you to keep wearing those clothes?"

Guiado. "It's always cold for me.

Anyways, you had quite the experience lately haven't you?"

Herald smiles. "So you were watching?"

Guiado. "No, i just got the news.

I know you want more explanations, I came to give them to you!"

Herald. "And I was waiting...

Since that experience I wasn't so sure about using my powers. During the fight i was only concerned about killing the demon but as soon as I did, it put a terrifying feeling inside.

Not that I can't defeat it but..."

Guiado. "Killing... It was you first time killing someone i a.s.sume. Right?"

Herald. "...Yes!"

Guiado. "That explains it for you, no matter what it is. At first it's a scary thing!

To fight with your live on the line, killing him meant that you were also in danger of being killed.

Herald found it weird that Guiado cut himself from talking... But he quickly thought of another question.

"...So you're saying I can start killing them before they know how strong I am?"

Guiado. "Yes you can, if you choose to!"

Herald. "And...how much can i kill everyday? How many can i save?"

Guiado. "That is for you to decide, i already stated that after the 3months anything is optionary!

But let me explain to you how this works, in case you decided to go on demon hunting.

All these demons, have their communities, places they reside in as groups.

They're called Demonicrates!

All of those you see here, are executing missions.

The one you fought that time, was on a mission to push that man's life to an end, not necessarly killing him. But to live without a soul is even worse than being killed!

You're now asking yourself, who orders them to execute these missions?

Witches!

Unlike what you think, witches can be both males and females, or even sometimes a demon taking the form of a human.

They secrectly form what we know as Occults. Places in which they make contact with the underworld and do their rituals.

Reasons for this are infinite, you'll get to know them by yourself if you decided to do what i think you consider doing. But the higher you go up the stronger your opponents will be!

But as you saw, the number of demons are almost equal to humans, You'll grow tired and it will be inefficient. Your face will be known and you'll soon be avoided at all costs.

Attacking the essence, is the smart move."

Herald keeps on listening carefully, a.s.sessing every major point Guiado makes.

"So you're saying it is better that i eradicate these occults rather than fighting each demon alone..."

Guiado. "Yes! If you succeed in doing so. All the demons who are attributed to that specefic occult, get burnt to death automatically.

You have to completely kill the witches!"

Herald stays silent....but his mind is loud.

Muruemyells loudly with fear. "THERE IS A BIG RAT IN HERE!!!

Herald found it a bit funny. "A rat???
