Get Back To You 107 Perry's Ice Cream Parlor

Perry's Ice cream parlor is one of the most visited places in the neighborhood. Sara picked out the location, and soon, they were able to reach the place.

"Wow, this is looking good, Sara."

"Yeah, yeah. I've heard about this place. It's surprisingly good."

"I know, the place might be small and compact but, the desserts they serve are delicious."

"Exactly."

Comments came one after the other after they all spotted the Ice cream parlor. After admiring the place for a while, all stepped inside.

Bridgette grabbed Mike by his collar to have a private conversation. Mike startled from the sudden movement as it strangled him nearly to death.

"Can you please handle me more gently?" Mike choked.

Bridgette reddened from the comment. However, she snubbed saying,

"I don't care if you're going to use magic or something else. You better order the same menu as Giselle."

Bridgette said in a provoking tone.

It took a minute for Mike to understand the underlying meaning behind it. Ordering the same food might grab Giselle's attention potentially leading to her focus on Mike.

Mike liked the idea of it, and in fact, he felt bad for not coming up with this idea on his own.

Mike agreed to. With that, the two of them stepped in to join the rest.

There wasn't a large table available, and so, the guys decided to scooch in the smaller ones to form a single large table.

After getting settled into their seats, they looked into the menu card to order.

One by one, the students placed the orders. When it is Giselle's turn, she ordered a blueberry ice cream sundae and moved on to the next person.

And, when it came to Mike, he just said,

"I'll have what Giselle has, blueberry ice cream sundae."

As soon as Mike said it, the others started cheering Mike for his bold move.

Giselle felt awkward as she gave out a half-smile.

Giselle felt the need to use the restroom and so, she excused herself.

However, the minute she left the place, the guys started shouting and congratulating Mike.

"Smooth dude," Ivy said.

"I said, do it in a way that she won't know it beforehand," Bridgette complained, and Mike shrugged.

Soon after placing their orders, the servers brought out the delicious Ice cream dishes. Just looking at them made the guys drool a bit. Eating Ice cream after school does can make anyone feel better.

Giselle joined in at the right time. The server placed both of the blueberry Ice cream sundaes next to each other. Giselle who had returned noticed it.

Not one seat is left empty except the one Mike saved for her, and Giselle felt helpless. She went to sit next to Mike. Mike kept his goofy smile.

"I saved you a seat," Mike said in his most charming way.

"Yeah, I can see it."

Giselle's sharp reply cut off Mike from his growing enthusiasm. He coughed to hide the embarra.s.sment while Giselle began eating.

Everyone started digging into their desserts. It was surely worth coming here. Giselle ate in silence avoiding every possible conversation she got referred to, dragged in, or indirectly invited. Ivy opened her wily mouth to comment about the same 'food-order' situation. Giselle didn't pay any attention to it and graciously enjoyed her sundae without being swayed by the conversation going on.

Roughly, a few seconds later, Giselle felt a hand approaching her sight. Her eyes traced the limb to find its owner, and it is Mike. Giselle's eyes widened as she froze on her spot letting Mike reach her face. He gently wiped out the ice cream around the corner of her lips. His hands brushed her lips after wiping off; his sharp fingers repeated the action until Giselle snapped back to reality, and pushed his hands away.

Giselle felt unease take over. Her body became restless from the inescapable situation.

Mike ignored her displeased look and continued to haunt her with his little actions trying to grab her notice. This time, he even took a bite out of her dessert, licking the ice cream with his tongue and making sure to repeat it for a few times. Giselle felt disgusted from his behavior and, feeling dirty and invaded without her consent.

Mike kept repeating such actions until the rest struck their eyes upon the two. Bridgette, who kept gazing at Mike and his little irritating behaviors found entertaining as she saw Giselle struggling to escape it.

She then hissed at Ivy to notice the small play going on between these two and waited for an opening to trap Giselle.
