"Thank you! I am deeply grateful, I don't know what could have happened to me If you didn't interfere, c-can I know my benefactor's name?"

Neng Ren gazed expectedly at s.h.i.+ Song with a pink tint starting to appear on her white cheeks.

She never felt this way before, not this much at least.

s.h.i.+ Song replied in a calm demeanour, "It was nothing. This one's name is s.h.i.+ Song," and gave an elegant bow. Being part of the royal family meant having presentable etiquette. You can't afford to lose face in the royal circle.

Neng Ren wasn't expecting this man to give such a beautiful bow, she hurriedly bowed in return, though, her bow seemed less elegant compared to his.

"Can I invite Mr.s.h.i.+ Song to dinner? I want to properly thank you!" said Neng Ren with great expectation in her eyes.

"I am quite busy now, hon. I am afraid I have to decline,"

Disappointment flashed in Neng Ren's eyes. This was her first time showing interest in any man, but in the end, he turned her down, this was quite the blow to her.

Am I not beautiful enough?

Is my make up messed up today?

Neng Ren started questioning her beauty, even though she wasn't the school belle in her school days, the boys would set a silly beauty ranking and she would definitely always be in the top five.

"I will be taking my leave," said s.h.i.+ Song, he started leaving the alley without even waiting for Neng Ren to reply.

'What a cold man!'

Neng Ren was in a dilemma, the man undoubtedly saved her! But in the end, he was as cold as a cube of ice, he wouldn't even accept her good will of inviting him to dinner to thank him properly.

After leaving the alley, s.h.i.+ Song asked, "Are you satisfied?"

Lin Fan replied smugly, "Satisfied! Very satisfied,"

"Alright, now that you are satisfied, I don't want to hear you blabbering again! Understood?"

Lin Fan replied in a jiffy, "Understood!"

A few minutes later s.h.i.+ Song suddenly halted in front of a phone booth.

Feeling puzzled, Lin Fan asked, "Why did we stop?"

"We have arrived,"

"Arrived? Isn't this a phone booth?"

s.h.i.+ Song didn't answer Lin Fan and opened the booths doors while stepping in.

He commanded, "Get in,"

Entering the booth, Lin Fan couldn't help but think this guy was joking.

A black card magically appeared in s.h.i.+ Song's hands, out of thin air.

"Do you have some kind of magic ring, like those in novels?"

s.h.i.+ Song shook his head while saying, "No, It's a dimensional imprint, an earth cla.s.s dimensional artefact, one level higher than a dimensional storage ring,"

Lin Fan nodded indicating his understanding, albeit a rough one.

s.h.i.+ Song smiled and replied, "Don't worry, you will come to understand everything later on,"

He then channelled a small stream of qi into the card, then, a blue circle appeared under them, with veins extending from it that started to spread to the inside of the booth walls with an illuminating light.

Lin Fan felt blinded by the intensity of the light before he could utter even an exclamation of surprise, he felt his own body being afloat.

'Is this how it feels to fly?' Lin Fan felt a great deal of freedom, he didn't try to open his eyes, keeping them closed while indulging in the moment, it was blissful.

Suddenly he felt the world revolving around him until finally, his leg touched a hard, smooth ground.

A hand rested on his shoulder, and a voice resounded in his ears saying, "This is the start of your new life,"

He opened his eyes to see himself in a wide area, looking old-fas.h.i.+oned, like ancient palaces from the old times, what was even more interesting, however, was the people standing there, with all kinds of weapons on their bodies, there were even some peoole that didn't resemble humans, well partially at least. A man with an eye with red pupils, a furry tail dangling from his lower back as well as long furry ears.

"This doesn't look like a place of the current era at all, not even the same world," muttered Lin Fan while gazing at the surrounding area with interest, he at least thought this place would be a bit more modern, but on the contrary, it made him feel as though he transmigrated to another ancient world.

s.h.i.+ Song explained calmly, "The president is a nostalgic person, he found that he doesn't fit well with the current era's tastes,"

Lin fan didn't hear all that, all that he had on his mind was the man in front of him, he couldn't help but ask, "What kind of species is that?"

s.h.i.+ Song took a glance towards the man standing in front before replying, "He is of the Dark Wolf bloodline, he is human, albeit a special one, a blessed one even,"

"Blessed?"

s.h.i.+ Song looked seriously at him while saying, "Blessed, of course, those who have special bloodlines are the blessed sons and daughters of the heavens,"

As Lin Fan heard that, a seedling of desire couldn't help but sprout in his heart, he, of course, desired to be extraordinary as well.

But this was still the least of Lin Fan's worries, having been dragged here, he couldn't tell what was awaiting him, but he still had a bit of antic.i.p.ation in his heart.
