***Rosette POV***

I lay down in a bed different from the one in the church...in front of me is a Yokai that seems to be connected to my brother Joshua. Ryouta I can see you're a good person but for some reason, you feel off to me...That's what it is your too good looking! You remind me of him.

Things would have been so much better if only...*sigh*

Ryouta looks at me and he says "tell me about your past. Maybe we can help each other out." I nod and tell my story no our story. I look at my pocket watch and sigh and then say "It all started 10 years ago. My parents died in a boating incident. My brother and I had no clue what was going on so we waited for them to come back.'Some unknown adults frantically searched for our mother and father. but their bodies were never recovered, We did have a funeral for them. After the funeral, We felt that adults were liars and made a promise to each other that they would grow up together, which ..." I started crying and Ryouta gave me some tissues and I continued

"We ended up staying at an orphanage for an exorcist, where we stayed for a few years however Joshua was sick. The supernatural powers he had made him a very weak child, and he was constantly sick. So I had to look after him. I later found out that he is the Apostle of Hope." Ryoua looked at her confused

"You Yokai really don't know anything, do you...there are 7 children that have special powers that have been taken from the Astral Line. The Astral Line is a river of spiritual energy, invisible to the human eye, that is the source of life of every living being in the universe.

The Apostles are able to call the Astral Line and use its powers, mostly for healing purposes, and each one represents a virtue. The Apostles can fly using their luminous white wings, which appear on their back whenever they need them. Their supernatural powers, however, have a very high cost for them, although bestowed with immense power. The power is pa.s.sed down for 2 generations. There was an apostle of charity that was kidnapped by a Yokai."

Ryouta thinks for a second "Oh that was probably my Grandmother. She had a healing ability."

Rosette wanted to shoot him. All the years they were searching what happened to her and he just says it like it was nothing. "Now where was I...Oh, I continued taking care of my brother. However, there was a man who came to visit. He looked like you just had black hair. That father n.o.buyuki would come to Seventh Bell to visit Joshua...What ?"I notice Ryouta had a weird look on his face.

Ryouta eyes twitched and then he looked away "nothing continue"

Nothing that was clearly something..."Well, I would always hide Joshua during n.o.buyuki's visits. One time we went into the woods to avoid Father n.o.buyuki. However, we both would slip and fell into a weak spot in the ground, which ended up in an underground area. we walked around the pa.s.sageway and eventually led us to a large door with a strange seal on it. Joshua reached forward to clear away the dust and ended up breaking the seal, causing the doors to open, revealing the inside of a tomb. Much to our surprise, there was a young boy there, claiming he'd been asleep for fifty years. The boy revealed himself to be Chrono and stated that he was a Yokai. While trying to explain to them that they should leave, he stumbled forward, weak from his lack of energy and slowly depleting Legion. Trying to help him, I offered him some candy. That's how we met Chrono

From that day on, we would go off into the woods even more regularly to visit Chrono and listen to his many stories. One day, the three of us had a picnic during which Joshua explained to Chrono that he and I were planning to become famous explorers and then proposed that they would go look for the Astral Lines, which Chrono had mentioned to them earlier. After Joshua had worn himself out and fallen asleep, I confided in Chrono and told him I wanted to be a doctor to try and find a way to cure Joshua's sickness. ..I think Joshua overhead the conversation..."

Ryouta gloats "Ha so he taught you about the lines"

I glare at him"I was 10 and we learned about it more in training to become an exorcist...Joshua didn't want to be a burden to me...so he listened to the words of Chronos brother and took his horns and placed them on his head. He was tricked into taking Chrono's horns and following Aion because he didn't want me to have to take care of him all the time. " I started crying but continued "The overwhelming power of the horns made him lose his sanity almost immediately, with the use of Chrono's devil horns he is able to freeze people's time.

Chrono sensing that Joshua had no control over the powers takes me so I wouldn't freeze. I beg him to help Joshua and but he told me it couldn't be done since he didn't have his horns or a contractor. I then beg him to make a contract with me to which he refuses to do so. My persistence carries on and he asks if I was ready with the decision I was to make since it would drain my life. I told him that I want to save Joshua and be with him and go with Joshua being explorers and being together forever. Chrono then makes a contract with me and he reverts back to a child, wounded and weak. Father n.o.buyuki then finds us and takes them to the order."

Ryouta then looks at me with not pity but something else and says"So your goal is to look for your brother...but what happened to Chrono?"

She looks at the sky "We went to fight the organization...Aion Chrono's brother works for them...however we lose and Chrono is captive. he teleported me away but...a few months ago. I received word from the church that your connection to the organization so I went to use you to get my brother"

Ryouta just sighed and knew this organization might be more dangerous than he thought

AN: You don't have to remember the brother's name just know she had a brother. As for Chrono and Aion just know she has a missing friend and enemy
