I needed a comb. The chances of finding one that wasn't made of wood or bone was unlikely. What I needed was a good cheap plastic comb. Though my beard was the least of my concerns.
My body was a shaky mess even with the influx of spirit energy, I was still missing something. Without that something, I wouldn't be at full strength. Now, I was around 80%. That could be because I didn't get enough sleep, it could be a lack of nutrients in my diet, or it could be a mystery. For all I knew it could have been a feature of the collar.
Despite my health bar the collar had begun to chafe around my neck. When I ran low on health it was able to leave its mark. Even healed the damage was done. The same with my hands. There were deep scars in them from holding the silk rope. If not for my health bar, I would have lost a lot of nerve function in my hand. My hands would have been useless. I would have been like Orochimaru, without the bada.s.s ninja training.
The sun was peaking over the horizon, and time was wasting away. Unlike the people of this world, I would probably never be an immortal.
Well today was the day, I needed to saddle up and get ready to leave. In his stall was Thunder. He was prancing around looking overly pleased with himself. I opened the stall and he nickered to me. The ground was soaked with fluids and there was a look of exhaustion in his eyes. It smelled of s.e.x in here. Thunder continued to look pleased with himself. I could only sigh and grab the horse blanket. If he was happy maybe he wouldn't try with Od and this morning could go off without a hitch. LOL, I laughed out loud to let off some tension.

Thunder snorted in response to my uproar and held still for me to put the blanket on him. His ears were up, he was ready to go. Once I buckled the saddle and opened the stall door, he seemed ready to bolt. He looked to me then back at the open stall. I walked with him out back to the pill kiln where Od waited. She watched me approach with a saddled Thunder.
She looked at us both up and down then nodded before turning her back and p.i.s.sing on the spot. Thunder jumped his legs already up in the air. All thought of self-preservation was long gone. All Thunder thought about was sliding his c.o.c.k into the strange horse. I placed a hand on his chest and dodged his front hooves. Thunder continued to march forward on his back hooves towering over me. His c.o.c.k was erect, I dodged to the left to avoid it before giving Thunder a hard push.
For a moment, he laid on the ground shocked. His hooves were in the air like a dead roach. Then he turned his head and glared at me. He whinnied in challenge. Quickly turning on his side preparing to get up.
I let out a sigh, this was doing nothing but waste time. I looked over to see Od watching while munching on some hay. This was either a game to her or test. Still she said nothing to reprimand me or a.s.sist me.
Thunder rose up aggressively and charged at me. He was starting to p.i.s.s me off. My hands clenched with the desire to throttle the beast. He sped towards me and I dodged to the side. He reached to bite my shoulder. I grabbed his bridle and pulled down hard. Once again, he flipped. This time he fell with all his momentum dirtying the saddle and throwing up dust. Thunder was both heavier and stronger than me. He was much faster too. He was also infinitely predictable.
"We are on a time crunch slave. When will you finish with your mount?" Od said knowing she had made things worse.
"If you hadn't done that then we would already be on our way." I rebuffed. "Mistress Od," I said quickly.
"If I hadn't done this here, I would have involuntarily done so on the road. Would it have been easier to do this out there?" Thunder rolled over on his side and made no further moves. He merely sniffed at the p.i.s.s on the ground then turned away from Od. His member was still out and swinging but he made no move to mount her. Progress?
I pulled the last of the carrots I found and gave it to him. He ate it happily and grew just a little stronger for it. "Well done, I've rarely seen such a method. Where did you get those carrots?" She said. A smile appeared on her face and her eyes fluttered.
"They were planted in your herb garden outside the designated planting rows. I believe them to be from bird droppings."
Thunder BP 4000
Already, Thunder had grown monumentally stronger just by eating better. "Well that doesn't count as stealing from my garden then. I could consider them wild are there anymore?" Od asked. I nodded my head.
"The last of them were crushed by the weed you destroyed last night." I saved the rest and Thunder just ate the last of them. I brushed the dust from Thunder's saddle and climbed up. Being mounted really made a man feel tall.
"I've noticed you seem to be able to subsist from spiritual energy alone. A trait normally reserved for the palace formation stage." She reached into her bag and tossed me a pipe and a bag of dried herbs. "Smoke this during our journey and you should have all the spiritual energy you need." She turned and p.i.s.sed again. Turning her braided and bowed tail up. Her lower body squatted and even I could smell the heavy hormones in the air. Thunder slammed his hoof against the ground in protest. "This is something I can't help. My nature is beyond my control. With no male capable of staying on my back for 30s, this won't end until fall." I took a breath and steadied my racing heart. The hormones didn't affect me like they did Thunder. I heard a sc.r.a.ping sound as his member kicked up dust before it against his chest.
I let out a sigh and stuffed some of the dried herbs in my pipe. With a finger, I lit it with wyrmling fire and inhaled the fragrant smoke of the herb. When my lungs were heavy with smoke, I blew out a long steady stream. My racing pulse slowed down, and I felt better. Spiritual energy entered my bloodstream at a slow steady rate. I held the pipe between my teeth as we set off.
